What’s in the box
You will need to have a speaker system in place
and/or other equipment ready to connect.

First, position your existing
speakers around the room
using the illustration below as a
reference.
 You can connect two FRONT HIGH
speakers instead of two SURROUND
BACK speakers if you prefer.
 Up to two subwoofers can be connected.

Next, connect your speakers to the AV receiver.
Match the labels for each terminal to the
position of each speaker. Do not forget to
connect the subwoofer cable(s) as well.

Continue by connecting your TV.
To enjoy high-quality video and
audio, the optimal method is to
connect via a High Speed HDMI
cable (not supplied).
To connect your Blu-ray Disc
player, PlayStation®3, or satellite
tuner, simply connect with a High
Speed HDMI cable.

If your TV has an HDMI ARC
jack, you do not need an optical
digital cord.
If your TV has no HDMI ARC jack,
you need an optical digital cord
(not supplied) to enjoy TV sound
through the system speakers.

For FM radio, connect the supplied
FM wire antenna (aerial) into the
FM ANTENNA jack and extend it
for optimal reception.
Alternatively, connect your own
external antenna (aerial).
You can connect to the Internet
and home network via a wireless
LAN or LAN cable (not supplied).

With the supplied remote, select the speaker
pattern according to your speaker system.
1 Press MENU.
The menu is displayed on the TV screen.
2 Press / repeatedly to select “Settings”, then
press .
3 Press / repeatedly to select “Speaker”, then
press .
4 Press / repeatedly to select “SP Pattern”,
then press .
5 Press / repeatedly to select the speaker
pattern you want, then press .
6 Press RETURN/EXIT .
