2Installation
To mount the Bar Speaker on a wall
Refer to the supplied Operating
Instructions.
To attach the grille frame
Refer to the supplied Operating
Instructions.
Note Install the Bar Speaker in a way that prevents the speaker unit on the front of the Bar Speaker from being
touched.

3Connecting a TV

Tip •When another device is connected to the TV, disconnect the other device from the TV and then connect
it to the Bar Speaker (page 8).
•To enjoy copyright-protected 4K content, connect the HDCP 2.2-compatible HDMI jack. For details, refer
to “Viewing Copyright-protected 4K Content” in the supplied Operating Instructions.

When another device is connected to the TV, disconnect the other device from the TV and then connect it to the Bar Speaker.
Tip To enjoy copyright-protected 4K content, connect the HDCP 2.2-compatible HDMI jack. For details, refer to “Viewing Copyright-protected 4K Content” in the
supplied Operating Instructions.

5Turning on the system
On/standby indicator
1 Connect the AC power cords (mains leads) of the Bar Speaker and the subwoofer.
2 Turn the TV on.
3 Press the  (on/standby) on the Bar Speaker.
The display lights.
4 Confirm that the on/standby indicator of the subwoofer is lit in green.
If not, the wireless transmission is not activated.
Refer to “No sound is heard from the subwoofer.” of “Troubleshooting” in the supplied Operating Instructions.
5 Turn on the connected device.

6Performing the Easy Setup
1 Press HOME on the remote control of this system.
The [Easy Setup] screen appears.
If the [Easy Setup] screen does not appear
Using the remote control of the TV, switch the input setting of the TV to that for the HDMI input jack the system is connected to.
2 Press
///to select an item, and then press to perform Easy Setup.
3 Once [Easy Initial Settings are complete.] appears, select [Finish].
The home menu appears.
Tip •On-screen instructions are displayed in the language you selected in this step.
•You can also select [Easy Setup] from [Setup] on the home menu.

7Listening to the sound

Listening to the audio of the TV
1 Select the desired program using the remote control of the TV.
The screen switches to the television broadcast screen and the TV
audio is output from the system.
Adjust the volume pressing +/−on the remote control of the
system.
If the TV audio is not output from the system
Press INPUT on the remote control of the system repeatedly until [TV]
appears on the front panel display of the Bar Speaker.
To enjoy an input device other than the TV
1 Press HOME on the remote control of the system.
The home menu appears.
2 Press
///to select the desired input.
You can select the following inputs.
[TV]/[HDMI1]/[HDMI2]/[HDMI3]/[Bluetooth Audio]/[Analog]/[USB]/[Screen
mirroring]/[Home Network]/[Music Services]
