Nomenclature
Components of FingerVU WUD are listed with simple descriptions.
①USB connector
Connects FingerVU WUD Dongle to USB port.
②Main frame
③Internal antenna
Antenna for wireless data-transfer is placed inside. Try to avoid blocking this area while
the wireless is working, and place FingerVU WUD Host and Device Dongle to face each
other for better wireless operation.
Software Installation
For proper operation and setup of FingerVU WUD, a wireless USB driver (provided by Wisair, Inc.)
and applications (provided by SoundGraph, Inc.) needs to be installed. The driver and applications

are included in the installation CD inside the package of FingerVU 1016S, 1016D. Please refer to
Quick Guide and Software User Guide in FingerVU 1016S, 1016D product.
Hardware Installation
This section provides detailed installation procedure of FingerVU WUD Host and Device Dongle.
Please follow the description of each step carefully.
1. Check the installation of applications and driver
The applications and the wireless USB driver need to be installed BEFORE the connection
of FingerVU WUD Host and Device Dongles. Please install the driver and applications
provided in the installation CD inside the package of FingerVU 1016W Monitor.
2. Connect FingerVU WUD Host
①Connection to Hummin’3.03 Enclosure
For the wireless connection of FingerVU 1016W Monitor to Hummin’3.03, connect
FingerVU WUD Host Dongle to Hummin’3.03 HTPC Enclosure and FingerVU WUD Device
Dongle to FingerVU 1016W Monitor.
Connect FingerVU WUD Host Dongle to the USB port placed on top-left of Hummin’
3.03 Enclosure, with facing the letters on the host dongle to the front of the enclosure.

②Connection to FingerVU 1016D
For the wireless connection of FingerVU 1016W Monitor to FingerVU 1016D, connect
FingerVU WUD Host Dongle to FingerVU 1016D Docking Station and FingerVU WUD
Device Dongle to FingerVU 1016W Monitor.
Connect FingerVU WUD Host Dongle to the USB port placed on top-left of the docking
station, with facing the letters on the host dongle to the front.
3. Connect FingerVU WUD
Connect FingerVU WUD Device Dongle to the USB port placed on top-left of FingerVU
1016W Wireless Monitor, with facing the letters on the device dongle to the front of the
monitor.
