For t his met hod, use t he scr ew holes in t he lateral sides of t he unit . Fix t he unit with the help of t he fact ory
radio m ount ing bracket s.
1. Select a posit ion in which t he screw holes of t he brackets (3) are aligned with
the screw holes in t he unit body, and screw in t w o screws ( 2) in each side.
2. Screw.

Insert the right side of the panel into the grooves in the right part of the body. Then press on the left part of
t he panel until a click. Ensure t he panel is fixed proper ly, ot herwise er ror sym bols m ay be displayed or som e
but t ons w ill not function.
To detach the front panel, press OPEN button. The left side of the panel will be released from the fixing
m echanism . Then carefully det ach t he left part of the panel off t he body grooves.

The front panel of this unit can be st ored in the included prot ect ive case when not in used and carried away
wh en you leave t he vehicle t o det er t heft .
Switch off t he power of t he unit. Det ach t he front panel, t hen put it to the protective case and take it wit h
you.
Cautions: The control panel can easily be dam aged by shocks. After removing it, place it in a protective case
and be car efu l not t o drop it or subj ect it t o st rong shock s.
The rear connector t hat connect s the main unit and t he cont rol panel is an extremely im portant part . Be
careful not to dam age it b y pressing on it w it h fingernails, pens, screwdrivers, etc.
N ot e : I f the control panel is dirt y, wipe off the dirt with soft, dry cloth only. And use a cotton swab soaked in
isopropyl alcohol t o clean t he socket on t he back of t he cont rol panel.
