‚Read carefully thr ough t his m anual to fam iliarize yourself wit h t his high-qualit y sound syst em .
‚The beginning of operat ion is the m om ent of the unit installation. Before use the device in wint er it is
recom m ended to heat up t he passenger compar tm ent dur ing 20 seconds or t o t he operat ion tem perature.
‚Use the unit with the temperature t hat goes beyond t he operat ion tem perature greatly decreases t he
operat ion resource of t he screen and ot her com ponent s of device and can result an out age.
‚Disconnect t he v ehicle's negat ive bat tery t erm inal while m ount ing and connect ing t he unit .
‚When replacing the fuse, be sure to use one with an identical am perage rating. Using a fuse with a higher
am perage r at ing m ay cause serious dam age to the unit .
‚Do not at tem pt t o disassem ble t he unit . Laser beam s from the opt ical pickup are dangerous t o the eyes.
‚Make sure that pins or other foreign objects do not get inside the unit; they may cause malfunctions, or
create safety hazards such as elect rical shock or laser beam exposure.
‚Do not use the unit in places where it can be exposed t o water, m oisture and dust .
‚Do not open covers and do not repair yourself. Consult t he dealer or an experienced technician for help.
‚Make sure you disconnect t he power supply and aerial if you w ill not b e using the system for a long period
or dur ing a t hunderst orm .
‚Make sure you disconnect t he power supply if t he syst em appears to be working incorrectly, is making an
unusual sound, has a strange smell, has smoke emitting from it or liquids have got inside it. Have a
qualified technician check the system .
‚The unit is designed for negative terminal of the battery, which is connected to the vehicle metal. Please
confirm it before installat ion.
‚Do not allow the speaker wires to be shorted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it may
overload or burn out the power amplifier.

‚Choose the m ount ing locat ion where t he unit will not int erfere with the normal driving function of t he
driver .
‚Before finally installing the unit, connect t he wiring and make sure that t he unit works properly.
‚Consult wit h your nearest dealer if installation requires t he drilling of holes or other m odificat ions of t he
vehicle.
‚Install the unit where it does not get in the driver's way and cannot injure the passenger if there is a
sudden stop, like an emergency st op.
‚I f installat ion angle exceeds 30° from horizont al, t he unit m ay not per for m properly.
‚Avoid inst alling the unit where it would be subj ect to high t em perat ure, such as from direct sunlight , or
fr om hot air , fr om t he heat er , or wher e it w ould be sub j ect t o dust , d irt or ex cessiv e vibr at ion.

1. I nst all t he sleeve into t he dashboard; ensure it is installed with t he correct side and there are no
ob st acles ( wir es, dashboar d elem en ts, et c) for t h e un it in st allat ion.

2. Aft er inst alling the sleeve into the dashboar d, bend tabs fitting t o the size of t he
dashboard t o fix t he sleeve in place.
3. Use the metal strap to fix the rear side of the unit. Determine a place for fixing
and install the strap as shown in the picture. You can bend the strap to the
needed angle wit h y our h ands.
4. Make t he necessary wire connect ions. Ensure the connections are correct.

1. Sw it ch off t he un it and det ach t he fr on t panel.
2. I nsert your fingers into t he groove in the front side of the t rim fram e
( apply som e effor t t o det ach t he fram e) . Pull t he fr am e t o det ach it .
3. I nsert the supplied release keys int o the bot h sides of t he unit body to click,
as show n in the picture. To extract the unit from the dashboard, pull t he
release keys or the unit body to pull it out. Before detaching the unit,
ensure it is not fixed wit h the m etal st rap.
Tr im fr a m e inst a lla t ion
To install the trim frame, press it to the unit body and push it to fix it in place. This should be done before
installing the front panel; otherwise you are not able to install the trim frame. When the trim frame being
installed, t he side wit h the groove should face down and fixed first.

2 . D I N R EA R- M OU N T ( M e t h o d B)
For t his met hod, use t he scr ew holes in t he lateral sides of t he unit . Fix t he unit with the help of t he fact ory
radio m ount ing bracket s.
1. Select a posit ion in which t he screw holes of t he brackets (3) are aligned with
the screw holes in t he unit body, and screw in t w o screws ( 2) in each side.

I n st a lling t he fr on t p an el
Insert the right side of the panel into the grooves in the right part of the body. Then press on the left part of
t he panel until a click. Ensure t he panel is fixed proper ly, ot herwise er ror sym bols m ay be displayed or som e
but t ons w ill not function.
To detach the front panel, press OPEN button. The left side of the panel will be released from the fixing
m echanism . Then carefully det ach t he left part of the panel off t he body grooves.
An t i- t h e ft sy st e m
The front panel of this unit can be st ored in the included prot ect ive case when not in used and carried away
wh en you leave t he vehicle t o det er t heft .
Switch off t he power of t he unit. Det ach t he front panel, t hen put it to the protective case and take it wit h
you.
Cautions: The control panel can easily be dam aged by shocks. After removing it, place it in a protective case
and be car efu l not t o drop it or subj ect it t o st rong shock s.
The rear connector t hat connect s the main unit and t he cont rol panel is an extremely im portant part . Be
careful not to dam age it b y pressing on it w it h fingernails, pens, screwdrivers, etc.
N ot e : I f the control panel is dirt y, wipe off the dirt with soft, dry cloth only. And use a cotton swab soaked in
isopropyl alcohol t o clean t he socket on t he back of t he cont rol panel.

1. I f your car is equipped with the I SO connector, then connect t he I SO connect ors as
illust r at ed.
2. For connect ions wit hout t he I SO connectors, check the wiring in the vehicle carefully
before connecting, incorrect connection m ay cause serious dam age t o this unit.
Cut t he connector, connect t he colored leads of the power cord to the car bat tery as shown
in the colour code table below for speaker and power cable connect ions.

Press and hold SELECT button, then press it repeatedly until LOUD ON is displayed. Rotate VOL regulator to
select Loudness ON or OFF.
Clo ck
Press DI SP but t on t o switch between clock display and current m ode display. Press and hold DI SP but ton;
clock will blink. Rot at e VOL regulator clockw ise t o set hours; rot ate it ant i-clockwise t o set m inutes.

Eq ualiz er se t t ing
Press and hold SELECT button; then press it repeatedly until DSP OFF (DSP ON) is displayed. Rotate VOL
regulat or t o choose bet w een sound effects: POP M = > ROCK M = > CLASSI CS = > FLAT = > DSP OFF.
BEEP function
Press and hold SELECT button; then press it repeatedly until BEEP OFF (BEEP ON) is displayed. Rotate VOL
regulator to select one of t he following:
BEEP OFF – beep sound is not heard when a but t on is pr essed
BEEP ON – beep sound is heard when a but t on is pressed
Reset function
RESET but t on is pressed with either a ballpoint pen or t hin m etal object . RESET function is to be activat ed for
the following reasons:
‚I n itial inst allat ion of t he un it w hen all w ir ing is com plet ed.
‚All the function buttons do not operat e.
‚Error sy mbol on t he display.
AUX in j a ck
AUX-in jack is intended for connecting external audio equipment to amplify the sound. If connection is made
correct ly, the audio signal from t he external source will be t ranslated t hrough t he acoustics of t he head unit .
This enables to adj ust t he volum e and qualit y of the sounding. For exam ple, you can connect an MP3-player
to listen to t racks using t he car acoust ic system .

Press repeatedly BAND but t on t o select your desired radio band in radio m ode: FM1, FM2, FM3, MW1 (AM1) ,
MW2 ( AM2) . Each band can store 6 preset stat ions, for a t ot al of 30 p reset m em or y st at ions.
Tu ning
Press PREVI OUS or NEXT button; the unit will aut om at ically search a nearest stat oin wit h a st rongl signal. To
search next st ation r epeat t his procedure. To stop t he aut om at ical search, press PREVI OUS or NEXT but ton.
Press and hold PREVI OUS or NEXT bu tt on t o act ivat e m anual search m ode ( MANUAL w ill be displayed) . Press
PREVI OUS/ NEXT but t ons t o search for a station m anually. I f you don’t press any but t on wit hin several
seconds, t he unit will ret ur n to auto search m ode.
Au t om a t ic st or e / Sca n
‚Aut om at ic store: Pr ess an d hold AMS but t on, t he receiver will aut om at ically scan and save stat ions for t he
current band.
‚Scan: Press AMS button once t o scan the saved stations in each band.
Pr ogr am m ing st a t ion s
There are six num bered preset but t ons, under which you can st ore and recall stat ions for each band. Select
t he needed st at ion, t hen pr ess and hold a preset button. The st ation will be saved in t he m em ory under t he
corresponding number. To recall a stored stat ion, press the corresponding preset button.

AF ( Alt e rn a t ive Fr eq ue ncies) fu n ct ion
Press AF but t on to turn the AF funct ion on or off.
When the radio signal st rengt h is poor, enabling t he AF function will allow the unit to automatically search
another stat ion with t he sam e PI ( Program I dentification) as the curr ent st at ion but with st ronger signal
st rength, so t hat you do not hav e to retune t he st ations w hen dr iving bet ween different t ransm it ter coverage
ar eas. When AF sym b ol is on, it m eans RDS infor m at ion is r eceived ; w hen AF sym b ol is f lashing, it m ean s
RDS in form at ion is not yet received.
PS ( Pr ogram Serv ice nam e) : t he nam e of st at ion w ill be display in st ead of f req uency.
I f RDS ser vice is not available in your area, t ur n off t he AF m ode. Defau lt set t ing is ON.
REGI ON AL ON / OFF m od e
Press and hold AF, REGI ON ON/ OFF m ode is select ed. Press AF bu tt on t o select REG ON/ OFF.
REG ON: AF switching or PI SEEK is implemented to the station which have all PI codes are same as current
st at ion ( PI CODE is checked when AF CHECK in pr ogress)
REG OFF: The r egional code in t he for m at of PI code is ig nored w hen AF sw it ching or PI SEEK is im p lem en ted.
( PI CODE and COVERAGE AREA is not checked when AF CHECK in progress)
TA ( Tr affic Alar m ) fu nction
Press TA but t on t o turn TA funct ion on or off.
I n TA m ode t raffic pr ogram will be aut om at ically searched, unt il t he pr ogram is received. When t raffic
announcem ent is received the unit w ill t em porarily swit ch t o the tuner m ode ( regardless of t he cur rent m ode)
and begin broadcast ing the announcem ent . Aft er the t raffic announcem ent is over, it will r et ur n to t he
pr evious m ode and volum e level. To int errupt t raffic announcem ent press TA but ton short ly; it will not swit ch
off t he TA m ode.

PTY ( Program Type)
This radio will allow you to select the type of program required, and will search for a station broadcasting that
t ype of program .
Press PTY but t on t o show t he m usic type. Then press 1 - 6 num ber but t ons to choose different music
programs available. Press PTY button twice to show the speech type program. Then press 1 - 6 number
but t ons to choose different speech program s. Each num ber but t on will show 3 different speech programs for
you to choose (see table below).

When PTY is selected, the radio starts to search corresponding PTY information, and stops if the
corresponding PTY inform ation is det ected. I f no but t ons are pressed within several seconds, previously
selected PTY is searched. During 1 loop, if desired PTY is not found, the unit will return to previous mode.
Press PTY but t on for t he 3rd tim e to sw it ch t he PTY function off.
Ot h e r p a r am e t er se t t in g
To choose t he corresponding param et er, press and hold SELECT button, then press it repeatedly unt il t he
display shows the needed param et er. Turn VOL regulat or t o choose the needed value. Aft er choosing, please
leave t he unit idle t o act ivate.
TA SEEK/ TA ALARM
When newly tuned station does not receive TP inform at ion for 5 seconds, the radio retunes to next st ation
which has not t he sam e station ( PI – Program I nform at ion) as the last station, but has the TP information.
When TP information gets lost at the current station for retune time which is set by RETUNE SHORT (30
seconds) or RETUNE LONG (90 seconds), the radio starts to retune to next same PI station. When same PI
station does not catch in 1 cyclic search, the radio retunes to next station with TP information. In TA SEEK

mode, the unit will seek for traffic announcement program when TA button is pressed; in TA ALARM the unit
does not retune to TA inform at ion.
MASK DPI / MASK ALL
Dur ing AF search, PI st at ion s and non- RDS ( Radio Dat a St at ion) st at ions wit h st rong signal will be m asked, in
the latter case, the non-RDS stations may cause interference, resulting the real AF to be masked due to the
m isj udgm ent of t he radio under interference. Rotat e VOL k nob to select t he desired m ode: MASK DPI and
MASK ALL. During MASK DPI mode, the unit will mask only the AF which has different PI, this is the default
mode; during MASK ALL mode, the unit will mask the AF which has different PI and no RDS signal with high
field st rengt h.
RETUNE S/ L - SHORT/ LONG
“RETUNE” refers to the time period the unit allows for radio scan when reception is interrupted. “S”
represent s a t im e period of 30 seconds and “ L” represents a tim e period of 9 0 seconds.
SEEK MODE
SEEK 1: When SEEK 1 mode is act ivated, AUTO SEEK SCAN is stopped when station is det ected even user
st ill push SEEK but t on.
SEEK 2: Auto SEEK SCAN is not stopped even if station is detected if user pushes SEEK button. When
releases SEEK button, t hen stop when stat ion is detect ed.
STEREO/ MONO
When FM stat ions are weak and are dist urbed, listening can be im proved by selecting MONO.
LOCAL/ DX
“ Local” position in areas wit h strong signals t o let radio st op at only strong stations during manual t uning
( LOC appear s) . Select DX (dist ant ) posit ion in areas w it h w eak signals t o list en t o all st at ions.
VOL LAST/ ADJUST
This funct ion allows setting t he volum e level of the unit after it was turned off and t hen t urned on again.
Choose VOL LAST if you want the volume level to be the same as it was before turning off. VOL ADJUST
allow s choosing volum e level.

Loading and e jecting a disc
Turn the power on. Insert the disc with the printed side facing upward into the slot. Press EJECT button to
ej ect t he disc.
MMC/ SD car d slot
Detach the front panel. Carefully insert the SD/MMC card into the card slot on the inner panel. Attach the
panel. Unit st arts playback aut om at ically.
USB
Carefully connect a USB driver t o t he m iniUSB-USB cable included and t hen insert it into t he USB j ack on the
front panel. Unit st arts playback autom at ically.
USB/ SD/ MMC notes:
USB form at supp or ts 2. 0. Capacit y : u p t o 4 GB.
SD cards capacit y: up t o 4 GB.
N ot e : Because of the great variety of products with SD and MMC card slots and their sometimes quite
m anufacturer-specific functions the producer can neither guarantee that all devices will be recognized nor
that all operat ing opt ions that are possible in t heory will actually work.
‚The operations of the MP3 file in the SD/MMC memory card or USB is the same as the MP3 operation for
discs.
I D 3 - ta g inform a tion
If an MP3 file has ID3-tag information of compatible format, it will be displayed on the LCD. The ID3-tag
inform at ion m ay include File, Folder, Music, Album or Art ist dat a.
N ex t / Pr ev ious t r ack
Press NEXT/ PREVI OUS but t ons to choose next or previous t rack. Press and hold this but t on t o choose forward
playback or backward playback.

Play / Pa use
Press 1/ PLAY/ PAUSE but t on to pause the playback, press one m ore t im e to resum e t h e nor m al playback.

When 2/ I NT b ut ton is pressed, t he first several seconds of each t r ack of t he disc is played. Pr ess again t o stop
int ro and listen t o t r ack.
Rep eat pla yback
When 3/RPT button is pressed, playback of the selected track will be continually repeated until the track
repeat m ode is cancelled by pressing 3/ RPT but t on again.
Ra ndom
When 4/ RDM but ton is pressed, each t rack of the disc is played in random instead of normal order. To cancel
RANDOM m ode, press 4/ RDM but t on again.

Press 5/ - 1 0 but t on t o skip 10 tracks back. Press 6/ + 10 but ton t o skip 10 t racks forward.

‚Sear ching Track: Press AMS buttons, t hen sear ching t rack is act ivated. Press SELECT but t on, then t he
first digit is blinking. Turn VOL regulator to right or left, select first digit you want. Press SELECT button,
then the first digit is fixed and second digit is blinking. Turn VOL regulator to right or left, select 2’nd and
3’rd respectively . Then aut om atically t he song you selected w ill st ar t.
‚Sear ching File Nam e: Press AMS butt on twice, t hen file search is activat ed. Press SELECT but ton, t hen t he
first directory is displayed. Turn VOL regulator to right or left, you can select the directory you want.
Press SELECT but t on again, then t he dir ectory is fixed and t he first file nam e is displayed. Turn VOL
regulator t o right or left , you can select t he file you want. Press SELECT button, then t he song you
