Attention!
Do not leave the batteries unattended, as they represent a choking hazard for children. In case that happens, please seek medical
attention. Faulty batteries can cause skin burns, use protection gloves when handling them. Batteries cannot be opened up,
shotcircuited or thrown inside a fire. Risk of explosion! Used batteries cannot be recharged. Risk of explosion! Only recharge
rechargeable batteries with the right set of chargers.
Use instructions:
- Press the power button once; the display will light up accompanied by a sound indicator
- The “Warm up” symbol will show up on the screen, accompanied by a count down from 9 to 0 or from 10 to 0. This represents the
time it will take for the device to warm up.
Note:
If the device was not powered on for a long time and if the device is full of impurities, the warm-up process must be manually repeated a couple of
times by pressing the “Power” button after it turns off.
Testing:
- The moment the warm-up process has stopped, the “Blow” symbol will show up on the screen alongside a countdown from 9 to 0 or 10 to 0. In
that moment it is required that you blow air inside the device for approximately 3-5 seconds.
- Read the test results on the screen
- If the text pop-up is “Caution”, then the test results will be between 0.02% BAC (0.2%q/l) and 0.05% BAC (0.5%q/l)
-If the text pop-up is “Danger”accompanied by a sound indicator, then the test results will be between 0.05% BAC (0.5q/l) and 0.08%
BAC (0.8q/l)
Automatic power-off:
- After the test results have been shown on the screen for 8 seconds, the device will automatically power-off and the “OFF” symbol will
show up on the screen for 3 seconds before closing itself.
- If the device does not manage to warm-up on the first try, it will automatically power off.
- If 10 seconds have passed since the device has been warmed up, but there is no air blown inside of it, it will automatically power off.
Note:
For a higher result accuracy, it is recommended that you conduct the test at least 2-3 times.
Disposing the product. Do not dispose the product or the other electrical and electronic components with consumers waste. Use only
specialized electrical and electronic waste collection centers.
WASTE DISPOSAL:
The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol on our product or packaging reminds you that, in accordance with local laws and
regulations, your product and / or its battery must be disposed of separately from household waste/garbage. When this
product reaches the end of its life, take it to a collection point designated by the local authorities. For information about the local collection
centers, please contact the town hall of your locality.
