Safety instructions
•Read this instruction manual thoroughly prior to using this device! Follow all safety instructions in
order to avoid damages due to improper use!
•Keep this instruction manual for future reference. Should this device be given to a third party, then
this instruction manual must also be handed over.
•Use this device solely for its intended purpose.
•Only use this device indoors. Do not use this device outdoors or in the bathroom.
•The manufacturer assumes no liability for possible damages that may have been caused by
incorrect usage or mishandling of the device.
•Do not leave this device unattended as long as it is in use. Extreme caution is advised when this
device is being used near children and persons who are restricted in their physical, sensory or
mental abilities.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
•Do not place this device on hotplates (gas, electric or coal stoves, etc.). Keep this device away from
all hot surfaces.
•Always operate this device on a flat, solid, clean and dry surface.
•Do not open the casing under any circumstances.
•If this device is damaged in any way, does not work properly or falls, have it checked by an
authorised professional prior to using it again. Do not repair it yourself – danger of electric shock!
•Do not operate this device with wet hands or when standing on a wet floor.
•Only use the original accessories or those that are recommended by the manufacturer. The use of
accessories other than those mentioned above can result in fire, electric shock or other accidents.
•Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging materials away from children, especially small children.
•Dispose of the packaging materials properly. Inform yourself at the local authorities regarding
collection points or garbage separation.
•Remove all protective foils and packaging material prior to usage.
•Clean all parts prior to usage.
•Prior to using the device for the first time, make sure that your type of power and power supply
corresponds to the information on the label.
•For additional protection, this device should be connected to a household faulty current protection
switch with no more than 30mA. Consult your electrician for advice.
•Danger of electrocution! Never attempt to repair this device yourself. In case of malfunctions,
have the device repaired by qualified professionals only.
•This device is supplied with power as long as it is still connected to the power supply.
•Dry off the appliance and all accessories before connecting it to a power outlet and before
attaching the accessories.
•Make sure that there is no danger that the cord could be accidentally pulled or that someone could
trip over it when the device is in use.
•Position the device in such a way that the plug is always accessible.

•Never touch the power plug with wet or damp hands.
•Unplug the device before each cleaning and when the device is not in use.
•Regularly inspect the power plug and cord. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•Prevent damage to the power cord by not squeezing, bending or rubbing it on sharp edges. Keep
the cord away from hot surfaces and open flames.
•Do not pull on the power cord when disconnecting the plug from the power outlet. Do not wrap
the power cord around the device.
•Lay the power cord out in such as way that accidentally pulling on it or tripping over it will not be
possible.
•Using an extension cord with this device is not recommended.
•Warning! Fatal injuries! Do not submerge the device, the power plug or the power cord in water or
in any other liquid, especially when it is in operation or being cleaned. Never hold the device under
running water or other liquids.
•Do not stick any foreign objects inside of the outer casing.
•Danger of burns! Avoid contact with hot surfaces as well as with the emitting steam. Hold the
device by its handles only.
•If the device is overfilled, then water could splash out.
•This device may only be used with the base supplied. Do not use the base for any other purpose.
•Caution: Take necessary precautions when handling hot water and hot stones.
•This device is NOT suitable for medical purposes and only serves as a device for relaxation.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications, such as:
-Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
-Farm houses;
-By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
-Bed and breakfast type environments.

Before the first use
•Remove all packaging.
•Use a damp cloth and some mild cleaner, if necessary, in order to clean the surface of the
appliance. Dry the appliance carefully.
Operation
•Completely lay out the power cord [7].
•Place the inlay [4] in the bucket [6].
•Pour water into the bucket up to the MAX mark [5].
•Place the bucket on the base [9] and lead the power cord through the rear to ensure proper
placement and stability of the bucket [see Fig. 2].
•The device should only be placed on a stable, level and anti-skid surface that can withstand the
weight of the device.
•Connect the power plug to a suitable socket.
•Switch the device on by turning the temperature adjustment knob [10] in a clockwise direction
over the notch. A clicking sound indicates that the device is in operating mode and the indicator
light [12] turns on.
•By turning the adjustment knob further in a clockwise direction the temperature increases. Turning
it in an anticlockwise direction decreases the temperature. The temperature is continuously
adjustable from 30°C to 90°C.
•The indicator light [11] displays heating of water. During operation this indicator light turns on
and off indicating the maintenance of the set temperature.
•To reach the hottest possible water temperature turn the temperature adjustment knob in a
clockwise direction until it reaches the stop.
•The water starts to heat up. Put the lid [3] on to prevent water from splashing out.
•To keep water warm turn the adjustment knob back to a middle position.
•To switch the device off, turn the knob back to (X). All indicator lights go out.
•When lifting up and moving the bucket hold it by its handles [8]. Let hot water cool down before
moving the bucket. Danger of scalding!
•Caution: To remove hot stones from the water use heat resistant gloves, clamps or similar tools to
avoid burns or scalding.
•Do not immediately place hot stones on a person’s body. Danger of burns!
•Before placing stones on body parts always check the temperature. Touch the stones with your
fingers and hold them in your hands to make sure the temperatures are suitable for other body
parts as well.
•When removing the lid only lift it by the knob [1] to avoid burns. Lid becomes hot during
operation!

Cleaning and Care
•Before cleaning the device turn it off, remove the plug from the socket and let it completely cool
down.
•Remove all water from the bucket.
•Use a damp cloth to clean the outer and inner surface. The inlay can be removed and cleaned as
well.
•Attention! Do not use alcohol, acetone, benzene, scouring cleaning agents, etc., to clean the
synthetic parts of the device. Do not use hard brushes or metallic objects.
•If necessary a few drops of a customary washing-up liquid can be used to remove persistent stain.
•It is recommended to decalcify the device twice a year or more often depending on the water
hardness of your local water. Regular decalcification maintains the product’s efficiency.
•Use a commercially available decalcifier for the decalcification process. Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions carefully to avoid damage to the product.
•Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and dripping water.
