USE
1. Separate the mounting base from the body of the device. Test the de-
vice once per week; remove the dust from air vents once per month.
Make sure the air vents are not blocked with dust, oils and other sub-
stances. Always unplug the device before cleaning. Replace the de-
tector if it does not work properly.
2. Do not install the detector near windows, fans, heat sources, or in
locations where the leaking gas may disappear quickly.
3. Once per month test the device e.g. by releasing some gas from
a lighter near the detector. Remember to slowly release a small
amount of gas or the detector will be damaged.
4. In case of an alarm, close all gas valves in the room. Open the doors
and windows. Then leave the room and do not return if the alarm sig-
nal can be heard. If the alarm signal does not stop, call rescue service
for help.
5. Do not repair the device on your own or have it repaired by peo-
ple without specialist knowledge. LED does not blink or is constantly
lit - this means that the device does not work properly. Contact the
technical support of the importer.
INSTALLATION
1. Separate the mounting base from the body of the device.
2. Mark 2 spots for mounting bolts in the desired location, using the 2
holes in the mounting base. Then, drill two 5 mm holes in the wall
and insert the mounting bolts. Mount the base on the wall using the
screws. When choosing the location, make sure the air vents will not
be blocked by any objects.
3. Place the detector on the base and slide it down until some resistance
can be felt.
4. Plug the device to ~230V/50Hz outlet. Green LED "POWER" will light
up, and the red LED "ALARM" will start blinking. The start-up proce-
dure will take approx. 4 minutes. Then the "ALARM" light will stop
blinking to indicate that the device is ready.
5. Press the TEST button at the side of the cover. The device will run the
test procedure, testing the audible signalization of the alarm. If the
signal is "beep" 0.5 s - pause - 0.5 s etc., and the red LED is not blinking
or is constantly lit, this means that the device is damaged. Contact
the technical support of the importer.
