Preamp. We recommen that you take a moment an rea this manual as it
provi es information that will help you in using this unit to it’s fullest
potential.
Each preamp we buil is customize accor ing to the customers or er. We
then label each preamp to esignate its inten e purpose.
Preamps bearing the T-122, T-147, 9 Pin, an /or 11 Pin prefix have an
a itional si e mounte connector(s) an “pig tail” cable(s) for use with
Leslietm pro ucts as follows:

FOOTSWITCHES
(OPTIONAL)
T-122, T-147, 9 Pin, an 11 Pin preamps come with a built in footswitch to
control rotor spee . 9 Pin an 11 Pin have an optional “Stop” switch.
This “Stop” switch will alter the operation of the spee switch between
Fast/Slow an Fast/Stop.
FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION
INPUT
Stan ar unbalance ¼” input jack, connect to your synthesizer’s “mono”
output. Set your keyboar ’s output level to between 75% an 100%.
VOLUME
Overall Preamp rive level, you generally want to keep this control between
50% an 75% also.
TREBLE
Controls the relative volume of the higher frequencies. Start with this control
set between 50% an 75%.
BASS
Controls the relative volume of the lower frequencies. Start with this control
set between 75% an 100%.
SIDE PANEL DESCRIPTION
LINE OUT
Stan ar unbalance ¼” line out jack. Connect to your au io amplifier’s
input.
GAIN
Sets the preamps overall output level. You want to keep this level as high as
possible to have the best signal to noise ratio. If you are experiencing hum
or noise, try turning this control up an your amplifier’s input level own. If
the preamp is over riving your amplifier, lower this control until the
istortion isappears.
