General Description
i-Watcher® Cellular Alarm is a versatile and cost-effective GSM/GPS cellular
alarm and control unit that prevents stealing attempts and provides on-line
tracking capabilities for cars, trucks and motorbikes.
i-Watcher® Cellular Alarm unit utilizes the Global Positioning System (GPS) to
lock on vehicles coordinates and use the GSM cellular network for controlling
and monitoring the vehicle status by SMS or GPRS communication channels.
The smartphone application is a user friendly, graphic interface that enable to
control the i-Watcher® remotely and to receive the essential information and
alerts from the vehicle.
The unit also incorporates interchangeable I/O ports to for flexible and most
effective interface to a vehicle.
The unit is designed to meet strict automotive standards for durability, power
consumption and temperatures.

• Enables to locate your vehicle in real time on On-Line Map using Smart-
phone application and also offer Fleet Management and Control Application
(MABAT On-Line).
• Provide alerts on theft attempt, over speeding, towing, tilt, low battery and

i-Watcher Cellular Alarm alerts and controls:

Important: The i-Watcher Cellular Alarm is designed to be customized to
operate in many modes and may have been programmed with additional fea-
tures. For complete set of modes and features, contact your local dealer.
Operation
The i-Watcher Cellular Alarm system can be operated by one or more of the
following:
• Proximity card
• Wireless code remote
• Original car wireless remote key
• Dashboard keypad

• GPRS or SMS from a cellphone
Using the Proximity Card
The Proximity Card is used to arm/disarm the i-Watcher Cellular Alarm system
when the driver with the Proximity Card approaches or moves away from the
vehicle. The card has an active range of about 5 meters (16 feet). The card is
powered by an internal CR2025 battery.
To install the battery into the Proximity Card:
1. Use a paper clip to open and remove the Battery Compartment Cover.
2. Insert the battery as shown in the following figure.

3. Close the Battery Cover.
Important: Replace the battery only when the Proximity Card is out of the
immediate range of the vehicle or when the ignition switch is OFF.

Using the Wireless Code Remote
The Wireless Code Remote is used to arm/disarm the i-
Watcher Cellular Alarm system.
To disarm the alarm system, when approaching the vehicle,
key-in the 4 digit code (provided with this product) and
press *. The LED will blink and the i-Watcher Cellular
Alarm system will automatically disarm.
The Wireless Code Remote has an active range of about 5 meters (16 feet).
Dashboard Keypad
The Dashboard keypad is used to disarm the i-Watcher
Cellular Alarm system.

When inside the vehicle, key-in the 4 digit code (provided with this product)
and press to disarm the alarm system. The LED will blink and the i-Watcher
Cellular Alarm system will automatically disarm.
Using the original car wireless remote key to
Arm/Disarm
The i-Watcher Cellular Alarm System can be set to Arm/Disarm using the
original wireless remote control provided with the car remote key.
The system Arms or Disarms by counting the number of blinks received from
the car blinkers when the car doors are lock or unlock.
To set the system to Arm/Disarm using the original car remote keys, perform
the following:
Important: Before starting this procedure, verify that the number of blinks is
different when the car locks and when unlocks.

1. Close the car doors.
2. Continuously, switch the ignition key on and off five times - the last key
switch is followed by series of fast beeps. Wait about 20 seconds until a sin-
gle beep is heard.
3. Press once on the ARM button of the car remote key and wait 3 seconds
until two fast beeps are heard.
4. Press once on the DISARM button of the car remote key and wait 3 seconds
until three fast beeps are heard.
5. Press once on the ARM button and wait 3 seconds until four fast beeps are
heard.
6. Press once on the DISARM button. A single long beep is heard.
Important: If 3 long beeps are emitted during the procedure, repeat the proce-
dure from step 1.

Emergency Neutralize
Emergency Neutralize is performed to enable the i-Watcher Cellular Alarm
System in case the Proximity Card or Wireless Code Remote is malfunctions
or lost.
Once neutralized, the system will allow one engine start. To restart the engine,
repeat the Emergency Neutralize procedure.
Note: Before performing the Emergency Neutralize procedure, obtain your four digit
bypass code provided by your dealer.
To perform Emergency Neutralize:
1. Close the car doors.
2. Verify that the ignition key is in off position.
3. Continuously, switch the ignition key on and off as many times as the first
digit of your bypass code.
4. Wait about 7 seconds.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for the rest of the numbers in your code.
A successful neutralize is indicated by a long beep.
For example, if your disarm code is 1672.
1. Close the car doors.
2. Verify that the ignition key is in off position.
3. Switch ignition the ON and OFF once and wait about 7 seconds.
4. Continuously, switch ignition ON and OFF for 6 times and wait about 7 sec-
onds.
5. Continuously, switch ignition ON and OFF for 7 times and wait about 7 sec-
onds.
6. Continuously, switch ignition ON and OFF for twice and wait about 7 sec-
onds.
Two beeps are emitted indicating a successful neutralize.

Note: If you fail to enter the correct code number, a single beep is heard. In such case,
wait for 15 seconds and repeat the procedure from step1.
Using the iWatcher Cellular Alarm Application
The iWatcher Cellular Alarm application is a simple
graphical interface application that provides 2-way
interaction with your vehicle. You can also control multiple
vehicles and assign more than one user to control a
vehicle. The application is available for iPhone and
Android smartphones.
The application enables to control the following features of
your i-Watcher Cellular Alarm system:
• Arm and disarm
• Engine Kill

• Siren activation
• Get status: The application enables to get the following on-line status infor-
mation from the vehicle:
• Over speeding alert
• Tow or tilt of the vehicle
• Door open/close (depends on connection to door system)
• Real-time location + last time stamp on GPS tracking map
• Low battery level or power cut-off
• Ignition switch position (On/Off)
• System arm or disarm state
• Siren active or inactive
• Vehicle in motion

1. Logon to Apple App Store or Google Store and search for iWatcher
application.
2. Download and open the application.
3. Select the following options:
Create New, Enter and than save:
- SIM card number
- Unit serial number
Add existing, Enter and than save:
- SIM card number
- Unit serial number
- Unique ID

Using SMS to Control Your Vehicle
Once activated, i-Watcher Cellular Alarm can be set, controlled and monitored
through SMS messages, serving as a communication channel to your vehicle.
For example: you can get the position of your vehicle by sending an SMS.
Send the message to the phone number related to the SIM inside your unit,
with a request code (refer to the following table) and receive an SMS from your
vehicle with the current vehicle location. To set, control and monitor i-Watcher
Cellular Alarm unit, refer to the following table:
