ATTENTION
Please read the following information carefully. Failure to follow instructions or improper
use could lead to explosive failure causing serious injuries.
After using sprayer with chemicals, it is important to spray with fresh water for 3-5 minutes to ensure residual
chemicals in the gun, wand, tank, pump, and hose are cleaned out. This will extend the life of your sprayer. Never leave
chemicals or solutions sitting in your sprayer after using.
Do not store your sprayer in extremely high temperatures. Heat can lead to the build-up of pressure within the sprayer,
resulting in a possible explosion. If there is pressure in the pump, do not try to remove it with tools. Do not try to make
modications to the sprayer. Always use SprayMate™ branded replacement parts from the manufacturer.
Never spray ammable, caustic, acidic, chlorine, or other corrosive solutions or heat, pressure, or gas producing
chemicals. Always read and follow chemical manufacturer’s instructions before use with this sprayer as some
chemicals may be hazardous when used with this sprayer.
WARNING
This product contains chemicals, including lead, known to the
state of California to cause birth defects and other reproductive
harm.
This product is designed to apply chemicals that may be
harmful and could cause serious personal injury if inhaled or
brought into contact with the user
NOTES:
1. The sprayer may have residual water in it due to quality
testing performed on it.
2. Some parts may be found inside the tank when rst
assembling the sprayer. Please make sure to remove the
parts before attempting to assemble or use the sprayer for
the rst time.

After long periods of time without use, the battery may have a low voltage and
will require extended charging.
Always wear protective clothing, respirator, gloves, eye protection, etc. when
using chemicals.
Never spray chemicals against the wind, towards humans, animals,
or food.
Do not operate sprayer in temperatures lower than 32ºF.
Never operate with strong acids, strong bases, or ammable liquids.
Never ll the sprayer with hot liquids (max temp. = 176ºF) or gasoline.
Do not dispose of lithium-ion battery with household waste; recycle where
facilities exist.
The sprayer is susceptible to water damage if left in wet conditions.
Always store it in a cool, dry place.
Always use SprayMate™ original replacement parts.
Do not leave the sprayer in reach of children or persons not qualied to handle it
in a proper fashion.

WHAT IS YOUR SPRAYER
CAPABLE OF?
A SprayMate™ is a highly ecient sprayer that is
suitable for spraying many kinds of
water-soluble chemicals.
This includes fertilizers, pesticides, cleaning products, etc. Powered by a 18V
lithium-ion battery, this sprayer results in 2-3x more eciency than a manual
sprayer. This sprayer can be operated continuously for up to 2 hours and
spray at a distance of 25 feet.

Before you begin, open the tank lid (1) and remove
any nuts and bolts that may be placed inside the
intake lter (2). Set aside.
Bring the backpack straps (5) to the bottom of the
tank. Secure lower strap clips to the tank loops near
the bottom of the tank. Next, slide the adjustable
strap through the top tank loop. Continue by sliding
the strap over and under the buckle tting. Lightly
tug at the strap to make sure it’s secure. Repeat on
other side.
Place the top wand holster (4) on the proper location
on tank. While holding the holster, place a nut on
one side of the hexagonal slot and screw the bolt
through the other side until it fastens into the nut.
Repeat for other slot and bottom holster.
Take the in-line spray handle (9) and attach it to the
threaded tting on the end of the hose (6). Tighten
the tting to ensure the gasket properly seals the
connection.
Attach the carbon ber spray wand (7) onto the
other end of the in-line spray handle by screwing the
wand collar into the threads on the spray handle.
The wand can be placed in the holster until ready
to spray.

Fully charge the battery (8) prior to first
operation. In a separate container, prepare
the solution you want to spray according to the
manufacturer’s instructions. Open the tank lid and
carefully pour the solution through the intake lter.
Securely tighten the tank lid.
Determine which nozzle is appropriate for your
project. Attach the nozzle by threading it onto the
tip of the spray wand.
a) Adjustable cone nozzle = adjustable conical mist
to jet stream
b) 110º fan nozzle = angled at fan spray
Insert the charged battery into the battery slot on
the backside of the sprayer tank and snap the cover
in place.
Turn the pump on by ipping the power switch on
the side of the unit. Position “I” will activate the
pump at 45 psi while postion “II” will activate the
pump at 60 psi.
Begin spraying by squeezing the trigger on the
in-line spray handle.

Dispose of extra product based on manufacturer’s
instructions. Rinse out any residual solution in the
spray tank with warm, soapy water. Then spray
fresh water through the sprayer for 3 to 5 minutes
to completely clear the tank of chemicals.
Disconnect the in-line spray handle and allow the
hose to hang down towards the ground to drain
residual water.
Dry the sprayer tank and clear the nozzle or wand
attachment of any buildup.
Store the sprayer in a clean, cool, shaded location
to protect it from extreme heat or frost.
For long-term storage, regular charging of the
battery is required to maximize battery life. Check
the status by activating the indicator lights every
4 weeks. Charge the battery if it falls below 3 bars.
Never allow the battery to become fully discharged.

Proper sprayer maintenance is crucial to ensure the life and
performance of your sprayer. Many spray materials can harden
if left in the sprayer causing clogs in the nozzle or hose. Gasoline
should never be used to clean out your sprayer.

TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR SPRAYER
PROBLEM POSSIBLE REASON(S) SOLUTION
Sprayer is not turning on
and there is no sound
coming from the sprayer.
Dead battery Charge the battery. If the battery will not charge, test the charger or call Support at (803)
339-2500 for a replacement if applicable.
Loose/worn connections on power
switch
Remove back plate. Using pliers, move all three wires on the power switch over to the
neighboring side, to the extra set of wire contacts.
Defective micro-switch Purchase replacement part or contact Support for help.
Defective circuit board Purchase replacement part or contact Support for help.
Leaks from gun/nozzle
area.
Loose connection Ensure spray handle is fully tightened onto threaded end of the hose.
Missing or worn gasket Contact Support or go to buyspraymate.com to purchase replacement gaskets.
Clogged pump / hose / gun /
wand / nozzle.
Not rinsing tank / pump / hose /
gun / nozzle(s) with water
after use.
Rinse sprayer throughly with warm, soapy water after each use.
Dead battery
Defective charger If the LED indicator lights do not turn on or only one red LED is on after being on
charger for over 2 hours, test the charger using a multimeter. Replace if necessary.
Damaged lithium cells If the battery receives no reading from a multimeter, a replacement battery is needed.
Pump makes a sound when

Clog in lter or nozzle Check lter or nozzles for clog. Using warm water, throughly clean the components.

Loose hose-pump connection Open back plate and identify the hose clamps. Use a athead screwdriver to tighten.

WARRANTY COVERAGE
WESSOL, LLC warrants to the original purchaser that the SprayMate™product will function as intended under
normal use and consistent maintenance, subject to certain limitations and exclusions. At the discretion of WESSOL,
LLC, we will repair or replace any parts found to be defective in material or workmanship without charge, apart from
shipping and handling costs, during the covered warranty period.
WARRANTY PERIOD
The warranty period will begin from the date of retail purchase and exist for one (1) year, regardless of when the unit
is placed in service. The warranty period is not extended if we opt to repair or replace the product in question.
WARRANTY CLAIMS
WESSOL, LLC reserves the right to require the return of the defective product, proof of purchase, and established
product registration to le a claim under this warranty.
