YouarenowtheproudownerofanEBG20.ThismachineisaproductofSquareScrubInc.Itismade

OPERATORINSTUCTIONS
DANGERS:
Severebodilyinjuryordeathcanoccurtoyouorotherpersonnelifwarningsfoundonthismachineor
inthisowner’smanualareignored.Readandobserveallstatementandinstructionsfoundonthe
machineandintheowner’smanual.
Neverleavethemachineunattendedwhilepowercordisconnected.
Alwayswearsafetygogglesanddustmaskandwhenoperatingthismachine.
Neverinhaledustcreatedbytheuseofthismachine.
Anymodificationstothismachinemayresultindamagetothemachineorinjurytotheoperatoror
othersnearby.Alterationstothemachinewillalsovoidanyandallwarrantyandliabilities.
Donotoperatethismachinearoundfuels,solvents,flammablefloorfinishes,thinners,wooddustor
anyflammablematerials.Cigarettelighters,pilotlights,electricalsparksandallothersourcesofigni‐
tionshouldbeextinguishedoravoided.Workareasshouldbewellventilated.
Keepthepowercordclearofthepad.Alwaysliftthecordoverthemachine.Donotpullonthepower
cordinanattempttomovethemachine.Thiscouldresultinelectrocution.
Donotusemachineifithasbeensprayedwithwaterorleftoutintherain.Thiscouldresultina
shockinjury.
Keepfeet,hands,andlooseclothingawayfromanymovingpartsonthemachinetoavoidinjury.Dis‐
connectpowercordbeforechangingthepadorwhenservicing.

TRANSPORTOFMACHINE
Totransportthismachine,thefollowingprocedureisadvised:
Unplugmachinefrompowersource
Alwaysleaveapadonthemachinetoprotectthegripfacefromdamageintransportandstorage.
Wrapcordusingcordwrapandhandleaspictureillustrates.
Raisehandleandlockinuprightposition.
Tiltmachineontowheelsandtransportslowly.
Whenliftingmachine,itisadvisablefortwouserstoparticipate.Withoneuseroneachsideof
themachine,gripliftingbarsatthebaseofmachinewithonehand.Gripthehandlewiththe
otherhandandlift.
Securemachinewhentransportinginavehicletopreventmovement.

Caution:Thismachineweighs117pounds.Getassistancewhenlifting.Donotattempttoliftalone.
OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
1)Movemachinetoworklocation.Nevertransportorstorethemachinewithoutapadtoprotect
thegripface.
2)Checkthepad.Ifithasbecomereducedtoathicknessoflessthan1/2”replacethepad.
3)Toinstallorreplacepad,followtheseinstructions:
Makecertainpowersourceisdisconnected.
Lockhandleinuprightposition
Tiltmachinebackuntilthehandlerestsonthefloor.
Removeexistingpadandreplacewithnewpad.Centerpadwhenplacingongripface.
Presspadfirmlyintogripface.
Returnmachinetouprightposition.
**WhenusingaSPPabrasivepad,placethepadonthefloorandslowlylowermachineontopad,
makingcertaintheSPPpadiscenteredonthemachineandredpad.
4)Connectcordtopowersource.
5)Releaseandlowerhandletoacomfortableposition.Lockhandleintoposition.Thebestoperating
positionisatarmslengthtohelpwithcontrolofmachineandtoimproveoperatorcomfort.Main‐
tainthemachineflatonthefloorforeaseofoperation.Raisingorloweringthehandlecancausethe
machinetopulltotherightorleft.Aneutralhandlepositionwillprovideaneutraloperation.
6)Squeezethepowerbarwithbothhandstostartmachine.Releasepowerbartostopmachine.
Note:Releasingpowerbarwillimmediatelystopthemachine.
