Alle drei Varianten des Alarmmelders können mit einem Nachrüstbausatz Typ 8208/. versehen werden.
Damit kann ein Kurzschluss sowie ei ne Drahtbruchüberwachung realisiert werden. W iderstandswerte
müssen dem Überwachungssystem angepasst werden.
All thr ee v ersions of the f ire al arm stati on can be r etro-fitted with a type 8208/. module. This allows
short-circuit and open-circuit monitoring. Resistance values must be matched to the monitoring system.
Las tres variantes de la alarma contra incendio pueden ser equipadas con el módulo de complemento
tipo 8208/, lo que permite de vigilar si se produce un corto-circuito o una ruptura del cable. Los valores

3 Montage / Mounting / Montaje

zu bef estigen. Bef esti-gungsmaße siehe
Maßbild oder R ück-seite des
Alarmmelders. Der Alarmmelder muss so
angeordnet w erden, dass der Abstand
zwischen D ruckknopf und Fuß- boden
1400 ± 200 mm beträgt.

vertically on a f lat w all w ith 4 scr ews
(6 mm di ameter), and possi bly al so with
matching washers. The screw connection
must face dow nwards. R efer to the
dimension drawing or to the back of the
alarm station for fixing details. The station
must be so posi tioned that the distance
between pushbutton and f loor i s 1400 ±
200 mm .

Zur Vermeidung einer Ansammlung von Schmutz im Inneren der Geräte hat ei ne elektrische Installa-
tion unter sauberen und tr ockenen U mgebungsbedingungen z u er folgen. D ie Ger äte si nd nur z ur
Durchführung der Installationsarbeiten zu öffnen und nach Abschl uss der Arbeiten wieder sorgfältig zu
verschließen.
To avoid dirt collecting inside the stati on, electrical installation must be car ried out i n a cl ean and dr y
environment. The stations may only be opened to car ry out i nstallation work and must be car efully
closed again on completion of the work.
Para impedir el ensucio en el interior de los aparatos, la instalación eléctrica debe ser cumplida en un
ambiente limpio y seco. Los apar atos deben ser abiertos sólo para ejecutar el trabajo de instalación y
deben ser cerrados con cuidado una vez el trabajo terminado.
Netzanschluss:
• Der Leiteranschluss ist mit
besonderer Sorgfalt durchzuführen.
• Die Leiterisolation muss bis an die
Klemme heranreichen. Beim Abiso-
lieren darf der Leiter selbst nicht
beschädigt (eingekerbt) werden.
• Durch eine geeignete Auswahl der
verwendeten Leitungen sowie durch
die Art der Verlegung ist sicherzu-
stellen, dass die maximal zulässigen
Leitertemperaturen nicht
überschritten werden.
Mains connnection:
• The conductors must be carefully
connected.
• The conductor insulation must
reach to the terminal.The conductor
itself must not be damaged (nicked)
when removing the insulation.
• Ensure that the maximum
permissible conductor temperatures
are not exceeded by suitable
selection of cables and means of
running them.

When terminal sleeves are used, they must be gas-tight and applied with a suitable tool.

Bei Einbauelementen mi t Schr aubklem-
men können 1 und 2 Leiter unter eine An-
schlussklemme insta lliert w erden. Bei
eindrähtigen Leitern müssen bei de Lei ter
den g leichen Quer schnitt auf weisen so-
wie aus dem gleichen Material bestehen.
Leiter können ohne besondere vorberei-
tende Maßnahmen ang eschlossen w er-
den.

terminals, 1 or 2 cabl es may be
connected to a si ngle ter minal. If the
conductors ar e si ngle-wire, both must
have the same cr oss-section and be of
the same material.
Cables may be connected without any
special preparation.

angezogen sind
• die Leitungseinführungen und
Verschlussstopfen fest angezogen

• nicht benutzte Leitungseinführungen
mit gemäß Richtlinie 94/9/EG
bescheinigten Stopfen und nicht
benutzte Bohrungen mit gemäß
Richtlinie 94/9/EG bescheinigten
Verschlussstopfen abgedichtet sind
Before commissioning, ensure that:
• the alarm station has been
installed according to the directions
• the alarm station is not damaged
• there are no foreign bodies inside
the alarm station
• the connections have been
correctly made
• the cable has been brought in
correctly
• all screws and nuts are fully
tightened
• the cable glands and stopping
plugs are securely tightened
• unused cable entries are sealed
with plugs certified to Directive
94/9/EC, and unused holes are
sealed by stopping plugs certified
to Directive 94/9/EC.
Antes de la puesta en servicio, asegurese

Wir empfehlen Ihnen, für die nicht benutz ten Bohrungen im Gehäuse die Verschlussstopf en 8290 und
für di e ni cht benutz ten Lei tungseinführungen di e Stopf en des T yps 8161 der Fa. R . ST AHL Schalt-
geräte zu verwenden.
We recommend the use of type 8290 stopping plugs for unused holes and type 8161 plugs for unused
cable entries. Both are available from R. STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH.

Zur Besti mmung der Prüfintervalle sind
folgende Punkte zu beachten:
• Umgebungsbedingungen
(Aufstellung im Freien, Wind,
Regen, Sonnenlicht etc.)
• Betriebsbedingungen
(Auslastungsgrad der Anlagen,
Fehlbedingungen)
• Herstellerangaben in der
technischen Dokumentation
(mechanische und elektrische
Lebensdauer der Schaltgeräte)
• größere Veränderungen in der
Gesamtanlage (z.B. Änderung der
Zoneneinteilung)
Note the following when establishing the
interval between checks:
• the ambient conditions (installed in
the open, wind, rain, sunlight, etc.)
• the operating conditions (utilisation
of system, operator errors)
• manufacturers‘ instructions in
technical documentation
(mechanical and electrical life of
switchgear)
• big changes in the whole system
(e.g. change of zone allocation).

zuführen. Werden bei diesen Prüfungen Mängel f estgestellt, di e si ch auf den Ex plosionsschutz
auswirken, so ist die Anlage bis zur Behebung der Mängel außer Betrieb zu nehmen.
Checks should be v isual, close or detailed, depending on local conditio ns. If f aults are f ound during
these checks which affect the explosion protection, then the system must be taken out of service until
the faults have been cleared
