Your Stamps.com Digital Scale has a one (1) year limited warrant y against faulty workmanship and/or materials. Warranty period shall be
dened as the earlier of: one (1) year from the date listed on your proof of purchase or bill of sale (or) one (1) year from the date on which your
trial period ends.
Should your product prove defective during the warranty period, please visit www.stamps.com/returns for more information and
instructions on how to return or exchange your scale.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic damage or damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, or modication of, or to,
any part of the product. This warrant y does not cover damage due to improper operation or maintenance, or attempted repair by anyone
other than a facility authorized by Stamps.com to service the product. This warranty is valid only in the United States.
This warranty is invalid if the factor y-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product.
EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, STAMPS.COM DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. REPAIR OR PLACEMENT AS PROVIDED

What if I see the error message “The scale is not responding”?
Your scale may not be properly connected. Turn the scale o. Ensure that the
USB cable is properly plugged into both the scale and your computer. Turn the
scale on again.
What if the object I am weighing is too heavy?
If you place an object on the scale that weighs more than 25 pounds, the software will
display a yellow exclamation mark with a warning: “The item you are weighing has
exceeded the maximum allowable weight for this scale.” After removing the item, your
scale may need to be reset. Turn the scale o and on using the on/o switch on the
back of the scale. Extremely heavy objects may damage the scale.

A. To get started, you will need to connect your
scale to your computer as shown at left.
B. Open the front panel by pushing it in.
C. Turn the scale on.

Stamps.com website.
A. Launch the software from the desktop or the Start Menu.
B. Log in using your username and password.
C. Click the “weigh” button in the software to transfer the weight from the scale
once, or select the “auto” checkbox to transfer weight from the scale to the
software whenever the weight changes.

CONNECT THE SCALE UNTIL INSTRUCTED.
A. Go to www.stamps.com and sign in using your username and password.
B. You will need to install a small plug-in for the scale to communicate directly with
our website. To do so, click on the “Read Digital Scale” button in the Print Postage
tab, then follow the online instructions.
C. Connect the scale to your computer using the USB cable provided with your scale.
Finally, move the scale switch to the on position. The website should now be able to
read the weight from your scale.
D. Click the “Read Digital Scale” button to transfer the weight from the scale once, or
select the “auto” checkbox to transfer weight from the scale to the software
whenever the weight changes.
