Intended use
Your Stanley Fat Max FMC772B Bluetooth speaker has been
designed for Listening to Transmissions. This appliance is
intended for professional and private, non professional users.
Safety instructions
General safety warnings

Using your appliance
uAlways take care when using the appliance.
uThe appliance is not to be used as a toy.
uUse in a dry location only. do not allow the appliance to

they have been given supervision or instruction concern-

uChildren must be supervised to ensure that they do not

Additional residual risks may arise when using the tool which
may not be included in the enclosed safety warnings. These
risks can arise from misuse, prolonged use etc.
Even with the application of the relevant safety regulations
and the implementation of safety devices, certain residual
risks can not be avoided. These include:

any tool for prolonged periods ensure you take regular

When you notice liquid on the batteries Carefully wipe the
liquid off using a cloth. Avoid skin contact.
uIn case of skin or eye contact, follow the instructions
below.
Warning! The battery uid may cause personal injury or
damage to property. In case of skin contact, immediately rinse
with water. If redness, pain or irritation occurs seek medical
attention. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with clean
water and seek medical attention.
Electrical safety
#Your adapter is double insulated; therefore no
earth wire is required. Always check that the
mains voltage corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate. Never attempt to replace the adapter
unit with a regular mains plug.

$The charger is intended for indoor use only.
Features
This appliance includes some or all of the following features.

Use
Power/Volume Adjustment
To operate as a cordless product, insert a fully charged 18v
Stanley Fat Max battery (not included) into the battery port.
Be sure battery is fully seated.
To turn the speaker on, press the power button (2). Press the
power button again to turn the speaker off.
Press the “+” button (1) to increase the volume. To decrease
the volume, press the “-” button.
Note: If the battery is attached to the speaker and the AC
adapter is plugged in at the same time, the speaker will run off
of the adapter and not drain the battery. Having both attached
simultaneously will not charge the battery.
Bluetooth®and auxiliary function
When the speaker is turned on, it will automatically be in
Bluetooth mode. To switch to auxiliary mode, press and hold
the Bluetooth button (3) until the light turns green. To switch
back to Bluetooth mode, simply press and hold the Bluetooth
button again. The blue light will ash again.
Using Bluetooth® Wireless
Technology*
uTurn the speaker on.
uThe speaker should already be in Bluetooth mode. If not,
press the Bluetooth button (3).
uFind “P3BTS” under devices on your Bluetooth enabled
device and select to pair. The blue light will ash while
the pairing takes place. Once the pairing is successful the
blue light will remain steady.
uBegin playing music on your device.
Note: The speaker does not have to be in the Bluetooth mode
when pairing, only when listening.

Listening in auxiliary mode
To listen to a device in auxiliary mode, press and hold the
Bluetooth button (3) until the blue
light turns green. Plug the auxiliary jack (5) into the auxiliary
port of your device.
When nished, unplug the jack and store it in the auxiliary jack
holder (6).
Incoming Call
If your phone receives a call while it is connected to the
speaker it will ring through the speaker.
Samsung**
To transfer the call to your phone, deselect the headset option
on your phone. The speaker will remain mute until the call is
over. End the call normally with your cell phone. The speaker
will resume previous function.

To transfer the call to your phone, select “audio source” on
your phone, then select “iPhone.” The speaker will remain
mute until the call is over. End the call normally with your cell

Your Stanley Fat Max corded/cordless appliance/tool has been
designed to operate over a long period of time with a minimum
of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory operation depends
upon proper tool/appliance care and regular cleaning.
Warning! Switch off and unplug the appliance before carrying
out any cleaning.
uDirt and grease may be removed from the exterior of the
appliance using a cloth.
Warning! NEVER use solvents or other harsh chemicals
for cleaning the non-metallic parts of the appliance. These
chemicals may weaken the materials used in these parts. Use
a cloth dampened only with water and mild soap. Never let
any liquid get inside the unit; never immerse any part of the
unit into a liquid.
Warning! NEVER spray or in any other way apply lubricants
or cleaning solvents inside the tool. This can seriously affect
the life and performance of the tool.
Service Notes
This product is not user serviceable. There are no user
serviceable parts inside the radio. Servicing at an authorized
service center is required to avoid damage to static sensitive
internal components.
Protecting the environment
ZSeparate collection. This product must not be
disposed of with normal household waste.
Should you nd one day that your Stanley Fat Max product
needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to you, do not
dispose of it with household waste. Make this product avail-
able for separate collection.
zSeparate collection of used products and packag-
ing allows materials to be recycled and used again.
Re-use of recycled materials helps prevent
environmental pollution and reduces the demand
for raw materials.
Local regulations may provide for separate collection of elec-
trical products from the household, at municipal waste sites or
by the retailer when you purchase a new product.
Stanley Fat Max provides a facility for the collection and
recycling of Stanley Fat Max products once they have reached
the end of their working life. To take advantage of this service
please return your product to any authorised repair agent who
will collect them on our behalf.

Batteries
ZAt the end of their useful life, discard batteries with
due care for our environment:
uRun the battery down completely, then remove it from the
tool.
uNiCd, NiMH and Li-Ion batteries are recyclable. Place
the battery(s) in a suitable packaging to ensure that the
terminals cannot be short-circuited. Take them to any
authorised repair agent or a local recycling station.
uDo not short-circuit the battery terminals.
uDo not dispose of the battery(s) in a re as this may result
in a risk of personal injury or an explosion.
Guarantee
Stanley Fat Max is confident of the quality of its products
and offers an outstanding guarantee for professional users
of the product. This guarantee statement is in addition to
and in no way prejudices your contractual rights as a private
non-professional user. The guarantee is valid within the ter-
ritories of the Member States of the European Union and the
European Free Trade Area.
ONE-YEAR FULL WARRANTY
If your Stanley Fat Max product becomes defective due to
faulty materials or workmanship within 12 months from the
date of purchase, Stanley Fat Max guarantees to replace all
defective parts free of charge or – at our discretion – replace
the unit free of charge provided that:
uThe product has not been misused and has been used in
accordance with the instruction manual.
uThe product has been subject to fair wear and tear;
uRepairs have not been attempted by unauthorised per-

uAuf keinen Fall öffnen.
uDer Akku darf nicht Wasser ausgesetzt werden.
uBewahren Sie ihn nicht an Orten mit Temperaturen über
40 °C auf.
uLaden Sie ihn nur bei Umgebungstemperaturen zwischen
10 °C und 40 °C.
uBeachten Sie bei der Entsorgung des Akkus die
Anweisungen im Abschnitt "Umweltschutz".
uBeschädigen/Deformieren Sie den Akkupack nicht durch
Einstiche oder Schläge, da dies zu Verletzungen oder
Bränden führen kann.
uLaden Sie keine beschädigten Akkus.
uUnter extremen Bedingungen kann der Akku auslaufen.

Verwendung
Stromversorgung und Anpassen der Lautstärke
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Akku ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt
ist.
Um den Lautsprecher einzuschalten, drücken Sie die
Einschalttaste (2). Drücken Sie die Einschalttaste erneut, um
den Lautsprecher auszuschalten.
Drücken Sie die„+“-Taste (1), um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
Drücken Sie die „-“-Taste, um die Lautstärke zu senken.
Bluetooth®und AUX-Funktion
Ist der Lautsprecher ausgeschaltet, bendet er sich
automatisch im Bluetooth-Modus. Um in den AUX-Modus zu
schalten, die Bluetooth-Taste (3) drücken und halten, bis das
Licht grün wird. Um in den Bluetooth-Modus
zurückzuschalten, die Bluetooth-Taste einfach erneut drücken
und halten. Das blaue Licht fängt wieder an zu blinken.
Verwenden der Bluetooth® Wireless
Technology*
uSchalten Sie den Lautsprecher ein.
uDer Lautsprecher sollte sich bereits im Bluetooth-Modus
benden. Ist dies nicht der Fall, drücken Sie auf die
Bluetooth-Taste (3).
uSuchen Sie auf Ihrem Bluetooth-fähigen Gerät unter
„Geräten“ nach „P3BTS“ und wählen Sie es zur Kopplung
aus. Während des Kopplungsvorgangs blinkt das blaue
Licht. Nach abgeschlossener Kopplung leuchtet das blaue
Licht dauerhaft.
uSie können nun Audiodateien von Ihrem Gerät abspielen.
Hinweis: Der Lautsprecher muss sich während des
Kopplungsvorgangs nicht im Bluetooth-Modus benden,
sondern nur während Sie die Audiodateien abspielen.

Abspielen im AUX-Modus
Um Audiodateien im AUX-Modus abzuspielen, die Bluetooth-
Taste (3) drücken und halten, bis das blaue Licht grün wird.
Die AUX-Buchse (5) in den AUX-Anschluss Ihres Geräts
einstecken.
Nach Beendigung den Stecker wieder abstecken und in der
AUX-Buchsenhalterung (6) aufbewahren.
Eingehende Anrufe
Wenn auf Ihrem Telefon ein Anruf eingeht, während es an den
Lautsprecher angeschlossen ist, ertönt der Klingelton durch
den Lautsprecher.
Samsung**
Wenn Sie den Anrufer über Ihr Telefon hören möchten,
deaktivieren Sie die Headset-Option des Telefons. Der
Lautsprecher bleibt stummgeschaltet, bis der Anruf beendet
ist. Beenden Sie das Gespräch wie gewohnt mit Ihrem
Mobiltelefon. Der Lautsprecher führt die vorherige Aktion
weiter aus.

Utilisation
Mise sous tension/réglage du volume

en mode Bluetooth. Pour basculer en mode auxiliaire,

Uso
Alimentazione/regolazione del volume

Bijkomende veiligheidsinstructies voor accu’s en
laders
Accu's (niet meegeleverd)
uProbeer niet om accu's te openen, om welke reden ook.
uStel de accu niet bloot aan water.
uOm het risico op letsel te beperken, dient de gebruiker de
gebruikershandleiding te lezen.
uLaad de accu alleen op bij een omgevingstemperatuur
tussen 10 °C en 40 °C.
uWanneer u accu’s weggooit, dient u de instructies vermeld
in de rubriek 'Het milieu beschermen' te volgen.
uBeschadig/vervorm de accu niet door ze te doorboren of
ineen te drukken, aangezien dit kan leiden tot risico op
letsel of brand.
uLaad beschadigde accu's niet op.
uOnder extreme omstandigheden kunnen accu’s gaan
lekken. Wanneer u vloeistof op de accu's ziet, dient u deze
voorzichtig af te vegen met een doek. Vermijd huidcontact.
uVolg de onderstaande instructies bij huid- of oogcontact.
Waarschuwing! De accuvloeistof kan persoonlijk letsel of

Gebruik
Aan/uit/volumeverstelling
Zorg ervoor dat de accu volledig op zijn plaats zit.
Schakel de luidspreker in door op de Aan/uit-knop (2) te
drukken. Druk nogmaals op de Aan/uit-knop om de luidspreker
uit te schakelen.
Druk op de '+' knop (1) om het volume te verhogen. Druk op
de '-' knop om het volume te verlagen.
Bluetooth®en aux-functie
De luidspreker is automatisch op de Bluetooth-modus
ingesteld wanneer deze wordt ingeschakeld. Om naar de
AUX-modus te schakelen, drukt en houdt u de Bluetooth-knop
(3) ingedrukt totdat het lampje groen brandt. Om opnieuw
naar de Bluetooth-modus te schakelen, drukt en houdt u de
Bluetooth-knop nogmaals ingedrukt. Het blauw lampje
knippert opnieuw.
Draadloze Bluetooth®-technologie
gebruiken*
uSchakel de luidspreker in.
uDe luidspreker zou zich reeds in de Bluetooth-modus
moeten bevinden. Als dit niet het geval is, drukt u op de
Bluetooth-knop (3).
uZoek naar 'P3BTS' in de lijst met apparaten op uw met
Bluetooth geactiveerd apparaat en selecteer om een
koppeling te maken. Het blauw lampje knippert tijdens
het koppelen. Zodra gekoppeld, brandt het blauw lampje
continu.
uStart vervolgens het afspelen van muziek op uw apparaat.
Opmerking: De Bluetooth-modus hoeft voor het koppelen
niet te worden ingeschakeld. Dit is alleen nodig wanneer u wilt
luisteren.

Om naar een apparaat in de AUX-modus te luisteren, drukt
en houdt u de Bluetooth-knop (3) ingedrukt totdat het blauwe
lampje groen brandt. Sluit de aux-aansluiting (5) aan op een
aux-poort van uw apparaat.
Na het luisteren, koppelt u de aansluiting los en bergt u deze
op in de houder (6).
Inkomende oproep
Als uw telefoon een oproep ontvangt wanneer deze op de
luidspreker is aangesloten, gaat deze over via de luidspreker.
Samsung**
Als u het geluid van het gesprek wilt overbrengen naar de
telefoon, schakelt u de hoofdtelefoonoptie op uw telefoon uit.
Het geluid van de luidspreker wordt gedempt, totdat de oproep
wordt beëindigd. Beëindig de oproep op de normale wijze met
uw mobiele telefoon. De luidspreker hervat de vorige functie.
