Getting Started
Before we start, let’s make sure we have the correct mount along with all
the required tools and hardware to complete the installation.
The TV must be a Flat Panel TV between 32”-70” and weighs no more than 85lbs.
The wall the TV will be mounted on is either concrete or drywall with wood studs.
You have all of the following tools:
If you answer “Yes” to all the questions above then you are ready
to begin the TV Mount installation!

Parts & Hardware
Caution: Before starting assembly, verify all parts are included and undamaged. If any parts are missing or
damaged, do not return the damaged item to your dealer; contact Customer Service. Never use damaged
parts or previously used parts!

of the TV and install with the

over tightening may damage the TV!

Use the stud nder to locate
2 studs, and then draw
a vertical line on the center of
each stud.
Level wall plate and align
at center of studs. Make 4
pencil marks to indicate
where to drill.

The minimum size of the wood stud must be
1 1/2”x 3 1/2”(38x 89mm)
The thickness of dry wall must not exceed
5/8”(16mm).

Step 2A: Install Wall Plate on Drywall with Wood Stud

not all walls have conventional
16”(406mm) or 24”(610mm)
standard stud spacing.

Remove the wall plate and
drill the pilot holes with a
3/16” drill bit
Align the wall plate with the
pilot holes and insert 4 bolts
through the washer in the
pilot holes and tighten.

Finalize level of wall plate
before tighening.

Level the wall plate and
make 4 marks with pencil to
show where to drill the pilot
holes.
Remove the wall plate and
drill the pilot holes with a 3/8”
drill bit.

Caution: The minimum depth of the concrete must be 8”.
Do not drill pilot holes into the mortar between the concrete.

Step 2B: Install Wall Plate on Concrete

Insert the anchors into the
4 pilot holes. Tap with
hammer
Align wall plate with pilot
holes and anchors. Insert
4 bolts through washers and
anchors then tighten with
wrench.

Finalize level of wall plate
before tighening.

Step 3: Hang Your TV
To hang your TV, clip the TV
Rails to the mounted wall
plate.
After the TV is hanging properly
on the wall mount, press on
the bottom of the TV to lock it
in place.

Connect the Cables
Step 4: Connect Cables
Pull the release cords down
while gently pulling the
bottom of the TV from the
wall.
Connect the cables.
Push the bottom of the TV
body onto wall plate till you
hear a “Click”

Usage: Magnet Tabs

Attach the magnet tabs
hanging from the TV Mount
to the frame of the TV Mount.

Tilt TV up or down to
achieve the best angle of
view. No tools required.
Your Stanley TV mount has
been preset at a perfect
tension to easily tilt most
TVs. If you need to adjust
the tilt tension, use the
tension knob C1 with a
3/16 Hex key.
