Before you install or begin using this product, it is important that you read and
understand the content of these installation and operating instructions. The
installation instructions will guide you through the possibilities with the
flip-down tablet hardware.
Instructions are written with the expressed intent of use with standard
configurations. They also contain important safety and maintenance
information. For further assistance, or more advanced applications, please

Always keep the operating instructions in a safe place so they may be referenced
as necessary.

standards. If any defect in material or workmanship is found, Stealth Products
will repair or replace the product at our discretion. Any implied warranty,
including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular
purpose, shall not extend beyond the duration of this warranty. Stealth
Products, LLC does not warrant damage due to, but not limited to:
Misuse, abuse, or misapplicaon of products.
Modicaon of product without wrien approval from Stealth Products, LLC.
Any alteraon or lack of serial number, where applicable, will automacally void this
warranty.
Stealth Products, LLC is liable for replacements parts only.

Testing 6.3
Initial setup and driving should be done in an open area free of obstacles until the user is
fully capable of driving safely.
The TWBM480-TAB/TWBM480-U should always be installed and tested following the
instructions in this owners manual.

Design and Function 7.0
Intended Use 7.1
The TWBM480-TAB/TWBM480-U hardware utilizes Stealth’s link style hardware
to provide limitless adjustment. Multiple planes of adjustment allow critical
adjustment of the tablet mount. Separate links isolate adjustment planes and
angles, while individual link adjustment achieves the most complex support
solutions, making the positioning of your tablet easy and rigid.
The flip-down style hardware offers a sleek design, strong resistance and an
easy flip-down mechanism which allows the tablet to flip away while staying
attached to the chair, eliminating misplacement.

Mount dimensions for the TWBM480-TAB include:
-Height 8.5 inches to 11.125 inches
-Width 6.38 inches to 7.75 inches
-Depth .13 inches to .56 inches

Mount dimensions for the TWBM480-U include:
-Height Minimum/Maximum: 7 inches to 10 inches
-Width Minimum/Maximum: 4 inches to 5.31 inches
-Depth Minimum/Maximum: .44 inches to 1.06 inches
*Compable with 7” tablets
The TWBM480-U provides 3 sets of interchangeable cup ends.
Both tablet mounts are designed with spring loaded tension to provide secure support and
quick release of the tablet.

Replacing the FDM380 9.1
Step 1: Loosen the set screws on the triangle mount with a 5/32 T-Handle, but do not remove. Loosen the
socket screws from the triangle, allowing the thru triangle to be released from the mount.
Step 2: Place the new FDM380 in line with the thru and threaded triangles. The link aachment points must
be aligned with the ip-down slot on the bar to ensure correct movement of the ip-down sleeve.
Step 3: Align triangles and ghten the socket head screws back into place.
Step 4: Add blue Locte to set screws to prevent loosening. Tighten the set screws. Ensure they are snug
but do not overghten. Reference the Torque Spec secon for proper torque specicaons.
Step 5: Tighten the screw and locknut on the vercal bar. There should be minimum lateral movement with
the assembly.

CAUTION
Ensure that all screws are tightened evenly on the hardware. Threads can strip
out and cause damage to the hardware if not tightened properly.
NOTICE
Tighten the set screws with the client in the chair and make any final
adjustments necessary.
WARNI NG Overtightening of set screws may cause damage to hardware.

Link Replacement/Adjustment 9.2
Step 1: Loosen the set screw on oset link with a 4mm T-Handle, but do not remove. Remove the ratchet
handle from the oset link, separang the oset link from the inline link and creang a gap for the
link to be removed or another link to be installed.
Step 2: Align the new link with the oset link. Align the inline link and ensure all drilled holes match up.
Install the number of links necessary to achieve the desired length of the ip-down mount.
Step 3: When the number of desired links have been added to the hardware, ghten all ratchet handles and
ensure all links are in the proper posion. Add blue Locte to the set screws to prevent loosening.
Tighten set screws to proper torque specicaons, but do not overghten.
Step 4: Add Blue Locte to the set screws to prevent loosening. Tighten the set screws. Ensure they are snug
but do not overghten.

Before installing/adjusting links, loosen the set screws.
NOTICE
The TWBM480-U follows the same installation instructions as shown
throughout the manual.

Armrest Mounting 9.3
Step 1: Posion the cane of the chair in between the ARM240 clamp.
Step 2: Align the socket head screws with the holes on the clamp and ghten screws with a 3/16 T-Handle
to the recommended torque specicaon.
Depth Adjustment 9.4
Step 1: Loosen the socket head screws on the base of the ARM240 clamp.
Step 2: Slide clamp along the FDM380 bar and place it in the necessary posion.
Step 3: When clamp has been placed in the correct posion, ghten with a 3/16 T-Handle and secure the
screws. Refer to the Torque Spec secon for proper torque specicaons.

Flip Down Mount 9.5
Step 1: To ip the hardware down and away, slide the red ip-down sleeve up.
Step 2: Swing away the hardware in conjuncon with the ip-down sleeve being pushed up.
Step 3: To bring hardware back to the upright posion, move the links and tablet back to a parallel posion
with the ground. An audible ‘click’ should occur, indicang that the hardware is locked back into
place.
CAUTION
Ensure the red flip-down sleeve freely rotates 360°. If the flip-down sleeve does
not rotate, the hardware will not work properly.
SAFE TY
Move hands from the flip-down sleeve area when bringing it back to a vertical
state. The sleeve could pinch when moving and could cause injury.
CAUTION Ensure the flip down mount is fully engaged before use.

First Time Use 10.0
Dealer Assistance 10.1
During first time use by the client, it is advised that the dealer or service
technician assists and explains the configuration to the customer (the user
and/or the attendant). If needed, the dealer can make final adjustments.
User Testing 10.2
It is important that the customer is fully aware of the installation and how the
hardware can be adjusted in order to gain the best positioning possible. As a
dealer, proceed as follows:
Explain and show the customer how you have executed the installaon, and explain
the funcon.
Have the user test the position of the TWBM480-TAB/TWB480M-U hardware:
Is the hardware in the proper posion for the client?
Can the user safely operate the chair?
If needed, adjust the hardware to the proper position.
Explain to the customer any possible issues and how to address them.
Conditions of Use 10.3
The TWBM480-TAB/TWBM480-U is intended for use as installed by the dealer,
in accordance to the installation instructions in this manual:
The foreseen condions of use are communicated by the dealer or service technician to
the user and/or aendant during the rst me use.
If the condions of use change signicantly, please contact your dealer or a qualied
service technician to avoid excessive wear and tear or unintended damage.
WAR NING
The TWBM480-TAB/ TWBM480-U should only be prescribed and fitted by
qualified health care professionals.

Maintenance 11.0
Maintenance 11.1
All parts should be checked on a regular basis and repaired, if necessary, by a service
technician.
Disconnue use aer idenfying loose or broken components.
Periodically check the ip-down sleeve. Test that it engages properly and makes an audible
‘click’ when back in the vercal posion.
Check that the tablet mount is secure.
Check the M5 bolt on the vercal bar. Tighten if it has become loose.
To prevent screws from seizing, reapply copper an-seize if necessary.
If you are experiencing excessive lateral movement with the hardware, refer to Step 5 on
page 5 for adjustment instrucons.
Cleaning 11.2
Wipe hardware clean with a damp cloth and mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
Ensure any cleaners used to disinfect are approved for cleaning aluminum surfaces.
DANGER
Failure to comply with these warnings could result in serious bodily harm.
