PoE CABLE
PoE Cable Drops
•PoE Cable drops should be located 52” (1325cm) from the
floor.
•If running PoE cable without connector, minimum hole size
should be Ø ½” (12mm).
•If running PoE cable with connector, the minimum hole size
should be Ø 5/8” (16mm).
•Please follow the exposed PoE cable length as defined on
Table 1.
•Allowing for PoE cable to move in and out of structure is
always recommended whenever possible.

Hard Surfaces (wood, drywall, etc.)
1. Temporarily locate the wall mount bracket onto the wall.
The wall mounting bracket should be centered 52”
(132cm) from the floor. Ensuring it’s level, mark (1) ½” or
5/8” hole for PoE cable and (4) 3/16” (5mm) for wall
anchors.
2. Remove mount bracket from wall and drill four (4) 3/16”
(5mm) holes for wall anchors and one (1) ½”(12mm) or
5/8” (16mm) hole for the PoE cable. Note: if there is a
metal stud use a #32 (3mm) drill to use with the supplied
screws.
3. Screw the wall anchors into the wall using a #2 Phillips
screwdriver until the wall anchor flanges are completely
against the wall surface. Be sure not to over tighten.

4. Route the PoE cable through the mount bracket.
5. Replace the mount bracket onto the wall and install the
four (4) screws and four(4) washers using a #2 Phillips
screwdriver. Ensure the wall mount bracket is level before
final tightening.
6. Plug the PoE cable into the back of the RoomWizard.
7. Attach the RoomWizard into the mount bracket.
8. Peel or cut the large tabs on protective cover, then slide to
remove the protective cover.

1. Temporarily locate the glass mount bracket onto the
glass. The glass mounting bracket should be centered
52” (132cm) from the floor.
2. Thoroughly clean an area at least as large as the
mounting bracket using the alcohol wipe provided.
Allow to completely dry (approximately 20 seconds)
before attaching mount bracket. Removal of any vinyl
applique is required, vinyl must be cut to a 3-3/8” x 7-
1/4” (8.5cm x 18.5cm) rectangle. Glass must be clean,
free of any residue and dry from any previous
application used.
2. Route the PoE cable through the glass mounting
bracket.
3. Peel the backing film from the adhesive mounting
strips on the back of the glass mounting bracket.
Ensuring the glass mounting bracket is level, press the
glass mounting bracket onto glass. Hold even
pressure for at least 15 seconds.
4. Slide PoE cable cover over PoE cable and position
between the glass mounting bracket and the glass
frame. The PoE cable cover should extend no more
than a ½” (12mm) into the mount.
5. Plug the PoE cable into the back of the RoomWizard.
6. Attach the RoomWizard to the glass mount bracket.
7. Peel or cut the tabs on protective cover and slide to
remove the protective cover.

Privacy Wall (without 1” flange)
1. Temporarily locate the glass mount bracket onto
extrusion and mark (1) ½” or 5/8” hole for PoE
cable. The glass mounting bracket should be
centered 52” (132cm) from the floor

4. Peel the backing film from the adhesive mounting strips
on the back of the glass mounting bracket. Ensuring the
glass mounting bracket is level and against the frame,
press the glass mounting bracket onto glass. Hold even
pressure for at least 15 seconds.
5. Plug the PoE cable into the back of the RoomWizard.
6. Attach the RoomWizard to the glass mount bracket.
7. Peel or cut the tabs on protective cover, then slide to
remove the protective cover.

6. Center the PoE cable cover with the hole in
the extrusion and attach to the 1” flange.
Be sure the PoE cover is all the way against
the extrusion.

7. Route the PoE cable through the glass mounting bracket

on the back of the glass mounting bracket. See Table 1
for correct exposed length.
8. Ensuring the glass mounting bracket is level and against
the PoE cable cover then press the glass mounting bracket
onto glass. Hold even pressure for at least 15 seconds.
9. Plug the PoE cable into the back of the RoomWizard.
10. Attach the RoomWizard to the glass mount bracket.
11. Peel or cut tabs on protective cover, then slide to remove
the protective cover.
