position and disconnect the Mains Plug 14 from the mains.
7. If you are not using the juicer for the rest of the day then dissassemble and
clean.
• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE JUICER LID WHILST THE SLOW JUICER IS
RUNNING. IF YOU DO, THE SLOW JUICER WILL STOP AUTOMATICALLY.
HINTS
• The best results are obtained when using young and particularly fresh
vegetables and fruits. In general, the softer the vegetable and riper the fruit,
the thicker and less clear the juice will be.
• Wash fruits and vegetables and dry them well.
• Roll leafy vegetables into clumps.
• When making a mixed drink from more than one ingredient, use the softer
ingredients rst, then the harder ones.
• Vitamins disappear quickly after extraction of the juice, which should
therefore be consumed as soon as possible.
• Apple juice turns brown rapidly. A few drops of lemon juice will keep it from
turning brown too quickly.
• The residue pulp can be used as a base for soups, sauces, jams, and desserts.
• Fruits that are rich in starch such as avocado, bananas, coconut, gs and
papaya are not suitable for the Slow Juicer.
• Do not operate continuously for more than 20 minutes to avoid overheating.
After each use, allow the Juicer to cool for 5 minutes.
• If the Slow Juicer becomes clogged and stops the Operator Switch has a
reverse function ‘R’ and should be operated to clear the obstruction. If this
fails dissasemble and clean following the Cleaning instructions.
• Prompt cleaning makes a world of difference. Fresh juice and pulp will easily
wash away with a brush and warm water. However, juice and pulp that is
allowed to dry will become “glued” to the walls and be much more difcult to
remove.
