INTRODUÇÃO
O STX2436 é um processador digital de áudio que permite realizar con gurações
de áudio e visualizar informações remotamente por meio da comunicação
Bluetooth com smartphones e tablets com sistema Android.
Oferece uma enorme variedade de ajustes e con gurações de alta precisão para
melhorar o desempenho do seu sistema de áudio.
Com um poderoso DSP (Processador de Sinais Digitais), realiza em tempo real
equalizações,  ltros de crossover, alinhamento, controle de ganho, inversão de
fase, limiter, roteamento digital de entradas e saídas, geração de frequência,
monitoramento de tensão de bateria, entre outras funções.
INTRODUCTION
The STX2436 is a digital audio processor, which allows you to view information
and remotely con gure audio settings from Android smartphones and tablets via a
Bluetooth connection.
This processor optimizes the performance of your audio system through a wide
variety of con gurations and precise settings.
A powerful DSP (Digital Signal Processor) provides real-time equalizations,
crossover  lters, alignment, gain control, phase inversion, limiter, digital routing
of input and output, frequency generation, battery monitoring and many other
functions.
DESCRIÇÃO GERAL / GENERAL DESCRIPTION

1. Chicote Alimentação/RCA: Composto pelos cabos de alimentação e conectores
RCA de entrada e saída de áudio.
2. +BAT (Vermelho): Conecte ao PÓLO POSITIVO da bateria (+12V) utilizando
cabo com bitola mínima de 2,5mm² (AWG 13). É recomendado o uso de FUSÍVEL de
proteção externo (1A).
3. GND (Preto): Negativo (Terra), conecte ao chassi do veículo utilizando cabo com
bitola mínima de 2,5mm² (AWG 13).
4. REM (Azul): Acionamento automático, poderá ser conectado à saída para antena
elétrica do CD/DVD/MP3-Player, através de um cabo com bitola mínima de 0,5mm²
(AWG 20).
5. Saídas de Áudio: Conectores RCAde saída de áudio (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3 e OUT4).
6. Entradas de Áudio: Conectores RCA de entrada de áudio (IN A e IN B).
7. Botão: Utilizado para conrmação do pareamento e recuperação dos parâmetros
de fábrica.
1. Wiring Harness/RCA: Composed of power cables and RCA connectors for
the input and output of audio.
2. +BATT (Red): Connect to the POSITIVE TERMINAL of the battery (+12V)
using a cable with a minimum gauge of 2.5 mm2 (AWG 13). We also recommend
the use of a FUSE(1A) for external protection.
3. GND (Black): Negative (Ground). Connect to the vehicle’s chassis using a
cable with a minimum gauge of 2.5 mm2 (AWG 13).
4. REM (Blue): Automatic Turn-on. It can be plugged into the electrical antenna outlet
on the CD-Player/MP3 Player using a thin wire with a gauge of 0.5 mm2 (AWG 20).
5. Audio Output: RCA connectors for audio output (OUT1, OUT2, OUT3 and OUT4).
6. Audio Input: RCA connectors for audio input (IN A and IN B).
7. Button: Used to conrm pairing and restore factory parameters.
REQUISÍTOS MÍNIMOS
- Smartphones e tablets Android a partir da versão 2.3.3, com tecnologia Bluetooth
2.1 + EDR ou versões mais recentes;
- Smartphones e tablets iOS a partir da versão 8, com tecnologia Bluetooth 4.0 ou
versões mais recentes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Android smartphones and tablets beginning at version 2.3.3 with Bluetooth 2.1 +
EDR technology or newer versions.
- Smartphones and tablets IOS from version 8, with Bluetooth 4.0 technology or later.
INSTRUÇÕES INICIAIS DE PAREAMENTO
1. Baixe o app “STETSOM STX2436” na Play Store ou Apple Store;
2. Ative o Bluetooth do seu smartphone ou tablet. Em sistemas iOS, garanta que
o STX2436 a ser pareado não esteja na lista “Meus Dispositivos” pelo Bluetooth
do smartphone ou tablet, caso esteja selecione o STX2436 e clique em “Esquecer
Este Dispositivo”;
3. Ligue o STX2436;
4. Abra o aplicativo;
5. Na tela inicial, clique no ícone localizado no canto superior direito. Na próxi-
ma tela selecione “STETSOM STX2436”.
INITIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR PAIRING
1. Download the app “STETSOM STX2436” in the Play Store or Apple Store;
2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet. In iOS systems, ensure that
the STX2436 to be paired not on the list “My Devices” by smartphone or tablet
Bluetooth, if select the STX2436 and click “Forget This Device”;
3. Connect the STX2436;
4. Open the application;
5. On the Home screen, click the icon in the upper right-hand corner. On the
next screen click “STETSOM STX2436”.

6. a) Android: O smartphone ou tablet exibirá uma solicitação de pareamento e o led
indicador do STX2436 começará a piscar, clique em “Parear” e em seguida pressione
por 1 segundo o Botão lateral do seu processador de áudio. Em alguns casos a
solicitação abrirá em segundo plano, arraste o menu superior e acesse a janela.
b) iOS: O led indicador do STX2436 começará a piscar, pressione por 1 segundo
o Botão lateral do seu processador de áudio em seguida o smartphone ou tablet exibirá
uma solicitação de pareamento, clique em “Emparelhar”.
6. a) Android: The smartphone or tablet display a pairing request and the LED
indicator STX2436 start blinking, click “Pair” and then press for 1 second the side of your
audio processor button. In some cases the request will open in the background, drag the
top menu and access the window.
b) iOS: The LED indicator STX2436 start blinking, press for 1 sec. the side button
of your next audio processor smartphone or tablet display a pairing request, click “Pair”.

7. Informe a senha de 6 dígitos para obter acesso ao seu STX2436. Senha de
fábrica: 123456. Para maior segurança, altere a senha de fábrica conforme as
instruções do item “Alterar Senha”.
A senha só é requisitada no primeiro pareamento ou caso a senha seja alterada por
outro smartphone ou tablet autenticado para controlar seu STX2436.
7. Enter the 6-digit password to access your STX2436. Factory default password:
123456. For added security, follow the instructions under the “Change Password”
option to change the password.
The password is only requested for the  rst pairing or in cases where the password
is changed by another smartphone or tablet authorized to control your STX2436.

EQUALIZADOR GRÁFICO
O equalizador grá co de 15-Bandas, permite variação de ± 12 dB por banda,
com passo de 0,1 dB, com frequências igualmente espaçadas em 2/3 de oitava,
no intervalo de 25Hz a 16KHz em conformidade com os requisitos da ISO. O
equalizador grá co atua sobre as duas entradas simultaneamente. O STX2436
fornece 12 prede nições de equalização grá ca: FLAT, LOUDNESS, BASS
BOOST, MID BASS, TREBLE BOOST, POWERFUL, ELECTRONIC, ROCK, HIP
HOP, VOCAL, POP e PANCADAO.
GRAPHIC EQUALIZER
The 15-band graphic equalizer allows a variation of +/-12 dB per band, in 0.1
dB steps, with evenly spaced frequencies of 2/3 octave at intervals of 25Hz to
16KHz in accordance with ISO requirements. The graphic equalizer acts on both
inputs simultaneously. The STX2436 comes with 12 graphic equalizer presets:
FLAT, LOUDNESS, BASS BOOST, MID BASS, TREBLE BOOST, POWERFUL,
ELECTRONIC, ROCK, HIP HOP, VOCAL, POP, and PANCADAO (heavy beat).
EQUALIZADOR PARAMÉTRICO
O equalizador paramétrico permite que você escolha um ganho/atenuação em uma
frequência especí ca, assim como a largura da banda desse equalizador por meio
do fator Q, quanto menor o Q maior será a largura dessa banda de equalização,
afetando em maior proporção as frequências vizinhas. O STX2436 possui ao todo
5 equalizadores paramétricos, distribuídos da seguinte maneira: 1 de entrada e 1
para cada saída.
PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER
The parametric equalizer allows you to select a gain/attenuator at a speci c
frequency, as well as de ne the bandwidth of this equalizer via the Q factor.
The lower the Q factor, the wider the width of the equalizer band, thus a󰀨 ecting
neighboring frequencies to a greater extent. The STX2436 has a total of  ve
parametric equalizers, which are distributed as follows: 1 for the input and 1 for
each output.

CROSSOVER
Com a função Crossover podemos de nir precisamente as frequências de corte dos
 ltros passa baixa, passa alta, atenuações e topologia dos  ltros individualmente
por saída. Os  ltros e atenuações disponíveis são:
• Butterworth 12/18/24/36/48 dB/8ª e Linkwitz-Riley 12/18/24/36/48 dB/8ª
É possível também carregar prede nições de crossover, permitindo de maneira
muito rápida a con guração dos cortes de frequência de subwoofers, woofers,
drivers, tweeters e outros.
CROSSOVER
Using the crossover function we can precisely de ne the cuto󰀨 frequencies for the
low-pass and high-pass  lters, as well as  lter attenuations and topology individually
by output. The available  lters and attenuations are:
• Butterworth 12/18/24/36/48 dB/octave and Linkwitz-Riley 12/18/24/36/48 dB/
octave
It is also possible to load crossover presets, allowing you to quickly con gure the
cuto󰀨 frequencies of the subwoofers, woofers, drivers, tweeters and more.
ROTEAMENTO
A função de roteamento permite selecionar a fonte de áudio A, B ou A+B (Soma)
para cada saída.
ROUTER
The routing function allows you to select the audio source A,B or A+B (Sum) for
each output.

LEVEL
Nessa tela podemos ajustar os ganhos individuais das saídas no intervalo de -45
a +15 dB e o volume “Master” de 0 a 100%. Além da função de “Mute”, geral ou
individual por canal.
LEVEL
On this screen, you can adjust each output channel’s individual gain in the range of
-45 to +15 dB. There is also the “Master” volume level which ranges from 0 to 100
% and “Mute”, which can be general or limited to individual channels.
LIMITER
Para proteger seus ampli cadores e alto-falantes, o STX2436 possui integrado um
Limiter para cada uma das 4 saídas. Use essa função para atenuar e limitar picos
de sinais prejudiciais para o sistema.
O parâmetro Threshold (-24 a 0 dB) de ne um limiar para ação do Limiter, quando
esse limiar é excedido o Limiter é acionado e um indicativo é apresentado na tela
de Limiter da saída selecionada.
O parâmetro Attack (0.1 a 100 ms) de ne a rapidez com que o Limiter reage/atua
quando o sinal excede o Threshold.
O parâmetro Release (1 a 1600 ms) controla o tempo de recuperação decorrido
entre o momento em que o sinal cai abaixo do Threshold e a desativação do Limiter.
Além dos ajustes manuais dos valores de Attack e Release, é possível habilitar o
modo “AUTO”, onde os parâmetros Attack e Release são controlados em tempo
real pelo sistema “Dynamic Attack-Release”, proporcionando condições ideais para
 delidade sonora.
LIMITER
To protect your ampli ers and speakers, the STX2436 has a Limiter for each of the
4 outputs. Use this function to attenuate and limit signal peaks which may damage
the system.
The Threshold (-24 to 0dB) setting de nes a threshold for the Limiter’s activation
the Limiter kicks in when this threshold is exceeded and a noti cation appears on
the selected output’s Limiter screen.
The Attack (0.1 to 100 ms) setting de nes how quickly the Limiter reacts/operates
when the signal exceeds the Threshold.
The Release (1 to 1600 ms) setting controls the recovery time between the time that
the signal falls below the Threshold and the Limiter is deactivated.
Along with being able to manually adjust the Attack and Release settings, you can
also enable the “Auto” function, where the Attack and Release parameters are
controlled in real time by the “Dynamic Attack-Release” system. This provides the

DELAY
Com a função Delay é possível alinhar os transdutores (alto-falantes) digitalmente
através da correção de tempo realizado pelo DSP, garantindo que os sinais sonoros
emitidos de cada alto-falante cheguem ao ouvinte simultaneamente, evitando
cancelamento entre frequências e melhorando a  delidade sonora.
O ajuste pode ser realizado da seguinte forma:
· Identi que a bobina mais distante do ouvinte ou painel frontal da caixa, e tenha essa
bobina como referência;
· Meça a distância das demais bobinas em relação à bobina de referência. Essas
serão as distâncias utilizadas na con guração do Delay de cada canal de saída.
DELAY
The Delay function allows for the digital alignment of transducers (speakers) via the time
correction performed by the DSP, and ensures that the sound from each of the speakers
arrives simultaneously to the listener. This avoids frequency cancellations and improves
audio  delity.
The adjustment can be carried out as follows:
- Identify the coil farthest from the listener or the front panel of the box. This coil will be
used as a reference.
- Measure the distance from the other coils to the reference coil. These are the distances
used in con guring the delay of each output channel.

INVERSÃO DE FASE
Essa função é útil para resolver problemas de cancelamento de frequências. Nessa tela
é possível inverter a fase de cada saída de forma independente.
PHASE INVERSION
This function is useful for eliminating problems caused by the cancellation of frequen-
cies. From this screen you can reverse the phase of each output individually.
GERADOR DE ÁUDIO
O STX2436 possui duas ferramentas para auxílio na regulagem do seu sistema
sonoro, o Gerador de Frequência e a Varredura de Frequências, ambas as
ferramentas são fontes de sinais para todas as saídas, ou seja, durante sua
utilização as entradas A e B recebem os sinais internos dessas ferramentas, dessa
maneira os sinais receberão os tratamentos e con gurações de cada saída e
estará disponível na mesma.
FREQUENCY GENERATOR
The STX2436 has two tools which aid in the regulation of your sound system -
the Frequency Generator and the Frequency Sweep. Both of these tools provide
audio signals to all of the outputs. Therefore when these tools are used, inputs A
and B receive internal signals from them, which guarantees that the signals will be
modi ed and con gured according to each output’s settings then made available
at the same.

- FREQUÊNCIA:
A ferramenta “Frequência” permite gerar uma frequência especí ca com controle
de ganho. É possível variar tanto o ganho quanto a frequência gerada em tempo
real.
- FREQUENCY
The “Frequency” tool makes it possible to generate a speci c frequency while
controlling the gain. It is possible to vary the gain and the generated frequency in
real time.
- VARREDURA:
A ferramenta “Varredura” permite realizar uma varredura de frequência com opção
de selecionar a frequência inicial e  nal, o controle de ganho e a velocidade
de varredura. Durante a varredura, as opções de controle são desabilitadas,
retornando após o  m da varredura.
- FREQUENCY SWEEP
The “Frequency Sweep” option allows you to do a frequency sweep, with the option
of selecting an initial and ending frequency, as well as gain control and speed of
the sweep. The control options are disabled during the sweep, but return as soon
as the sweep is completed.

BATERIA
Com essa função é possível veri car facilmente em tempo real a tensão da bateria,
monitorar o carregamento e visualizar oscilações através um grá co temporal,
além dos valores de tensão mínima e máxima.
BATTERY
This function uses a real-time graph to makes it easy to check the battery’s current
voltage, as well as its minimum and maximum voltage, plus monitor the battery’s
charge and oscillations.
SALVAR / CARREGAR / COMPARTILHAR CONFIGURAÇÕES
O STX2436 possui a função auto-save que armazena na memória de trabalho as
con gurações que acabaram de ser modi cadas.
É possível também salvar as con gurações em pacotes, permitindo que sejam
salvas somente as con gurações de áudio desejadas.
Os pacotes salvos no smartphone ou tablet podem ser carregados ou
compartilhados* com outras pessoas através dos meios disponíveis em seu
smartphone ou tablet como por exemplo email, NFC, serviços de armazenamento
na nuvem, entre outros.
SAVE / LOAD / SHARE SETTINGS
The STX2436 has an auto save function which automatically saves settings that
have just been modi ed in the working memory.
You can also save settings in individual  les. This allows you to save only those
audio settings that you choose.
The  les saved on the smartphone or tablet can be loaded or shared* with others
using the smartphone or tablet’s resources, such as email, NFC, storage cloud
services, among others.
* A Função COMPARTILHAR, é dependente do modelo e versão do sistema
operacional do Smartphone ou Tablet.
* The SHARE function is dependent on the model and version of the Smartphone
or Tablet operating system.

MODO DEMONSTRAÇÃO
Com o modo de demonstração ativo, é possível navegar por todas as con gurações
sem que o smartphone ou tablet esteja conectado ao STX2436. Este modo pode
ser ativado e desativado em Con gurações -> Ativar Demonstração.
DEMO MODE
While in demo mode, you can browse through all the settings without the
smartphone or tablet being connected to the STX2436 . This mode can be enabled
and disabled under Settings -> Activate Demo
NOME DE EXIBIÇÃO DO DISPOSITIVO
Esta opção permite alterar o nome de exibição Bluetooth do seu processador
STX2436, facilitando a identi cação em sistemas com mais de um STX2436. Esta
opção pode ser encontrada em Con gurações -> Nome de Exibição do Dispositivo.
DISPLAY NAME OF THE DEVICE
This option allows you to change your STX2436 processor’s Bluetooth display
name making it easier to identify the individual processors when more than one
STX2436 is being used. This option can be found under Settings -> Display Name
of the Device.

NOME DE EXIBIÇÃO DOS CANAIS
Esta opção permite renomear os canais de saída, personalizando-os da maneira
que lhe agrade e facilite a identi cação. Esta opção é encontrada em Con gurações
-> Nome de Exibição dos Canais.
DISPLAY NAME OF CHANNELS
This option allows you to rename the output channels, customizing them in a way
that will suit you and make identi cation easier.
EXEMPLO:
SEGURANÇA - ALTERAR SENHA
O STX2436 possui uma senha de segurança de 6 dígitos utilizada para parear
novos dispositivos ao processador e utilizada para autenticação dos dispositivos
já pareados.
Aconselhamos alterar a senha de acesso de fábrica após o pareamento inicial,
esta opção esta disponível em Con gurações -> Alterar Senha.
Senha de fábrica: 123456.
SECURITY – CHANGING THE PASSWORD
The STX2436 has a 6-digit password which is used to pair new devices to the
processor, as well as authenticate those that are already paired. We recommend
that you change the default password after the initial pairing, this option is available
under Settings -> Change Password.
The factory default password: 123456

RESET DE FÁBRICA
Para restaurar os parâmetros de fábrica do STX2436, mantenha a tecla lateral pressio-
nada e ligue o aparelho.
Além dos parâmetros de áudio, este procedimento irá restaurar senha para o padrão
de fábrica 123456.
FACTORY RESET
To restore the STX2436’s factory settings, hold the side button and turn on the device.
In addition to resetting the audio congurations, this procedure also resets the password
to the factory password: 123456.
DIAGRAMA FUNCIONAL / FUNCTIONAL DIAGRAM
COMO PROCEDER EM CASO DE PROBLEMAS
NÃO LIGA/LED DE ATIVIDADE NÃO PISCA:
• Os cabos de alimentação não estão conectados corretamente (terminais +BAT, GND
e REM).
• Cabos de alimentação com mau contato. Verifique as conexões.
• REM sem sinal. Verique se a conexão REM está recebendo tensão próxima a +12V .
• Mau contato na conexão terra.
• O fusível externo do aparelho está queimado. Atenção para o valor correto do fusível
(1A).
ÍCONE INDICATIVO DE LOADING CONSTANTE:
• Conexão perdida. Refaça a conexão através da busca de dispositivos (ícone
superior direito).
BLUETOOTH NÃO VISÍVEL / NÃO É POSSÍVEL PAREAR:
• Encerre o aplicativo, reinicie (desligue e ligue) o Bluetooth do smartphone ou tablet
e abra novamente o aplicativo.
• Desligue os amplificadores e reinicie o PROCESSADOR DE ÁUDIO.
SEM SOM:
• Controle de ganho das entradas ou saídas no nível mínimo. Aumente o nível.
• Saída desligada/mute. Ligue-a.
• Entrada de áudio sem sinal. Verifique fonte de áudio e cabos RCA.
RUÍDOS INDESEJÁVEIS:
• Todos os cabos RCA e de alimentação devem ser previamente verificados para
sanar qualquer irregularidade nos mesmos. (Recomendamos os Cabos RCA com
Blindagem Tripla – STETSOM)
• Utilize cabos supressivos nas velas de ignição.
• Passe os cabos RCA de entrada e de saída longe de qualquer outro cabo, pois eles
são mais sensíveis a interferências.
• Faça a ligação de alimentação (+12V) separada para o sistema de som. Utilize um
fusível de 1A a 30 cm da bateria para proteção.
• Faça um bom aterramento do PROCESSADOR DE ÁUDIO. Para isto, remova a tinta
do chassi do veículo no ponto desejado. Parafuse o fio utilizando um terminal terra.
Para proteger de oxidação, isole com tinta.

• Deixe o ponto de aterramento do PROCESSADOR DE ÁUDIO o mais próximo
possível ao aterramento de outros equipamentos de áudio usados em conjunto.
• Não faça loop com terra. Prefira a ligação estrela, com todos os terras partindo de
um único ponto.
TROUBLESHOOTING
NO POWER/ LED POWER LIGHT DOESN’T BLINK:
• The power cables are not connected correctly (terminals +BAT, GND and REM).
• The power cables are loose. Check the connections.
• REM has no signal. Check to see if the REM connection is receiving approximately
+12V of current.
• Loose ground connection.
• The external fuse is blown. Verify that a 1.0A fuse is installed.
ICON CONSTANTLY SHOWS LOADING:
• The connection was lost. Reconnect by searching for new devices (icon in the upper
right-hand corner).
BLUETOOTH IS NOT VISIBLE/ UNABLE TO PAIR:
• Close the app, restart (turn off and then on) the smartphone or tablet’s Bluetooth and
then open the app again.
• Turn the amplifiers off and then restart the AUDIO PROCESSOR.
NO SOUND:
• The input and output gain control is at the lowest setting. Increase the setting.
• Output is off or muted. Turn it on.
• Audio input is without a signal. Check the audio source and RCA cables.
UNWANTED NOISE:
• All feeds and RCA cables should be checked beforehand and any irregularities cared
for properly. (We recommend Triple Shielded RCA Cables – STETSOM).
• Utilize suppressing/insulated cables on the spark plugs.
• Run the input and output RCA cables away from any other cables, as they are
particularly prone to interference.
• Install a separate power source (+12V) for the sound system. Use a 1A fuse 30
centimeters from the battery as the best precaution.
• Ground the AUDIO PROCESSOR properly. Remove paint from the chassis at the
selected point, and connect the wire using a grounded terminal. In order to prevent rust,
insulate it with paint.
• Place the ground wire for the AUDIO PROCESSOR as close as possible to the
grounds for the other sound equipment it is used with.
- Do not loop the ground. Avoid using multiple grounds. If possible, use a star
connection where all the grounds run from a single point.

STETSOM, through its network of Authorized Technical Assistance Providers,
guarantees technical assistance to the purchaser of their products. The repairs of
any defects duly established as being of the manufacturer will be done without cost
for replacement components or parts and repair labor. The repairs will be done by
the Authorized Technical Assistance Provider specially designated by STETSOM.

CASES THAT VOID THE WARRANTY:
1-1 year after the issuance of the invoice of sale to the consumer or 1 year of
completing certicate of warranty (dated and stamped by the retailer or installer) or
1 year from date of manufacture.
2-Violation of seals, alteration or removal of the product’s serial or lot number.
