Für einen kompletten Führungswagen
FW 20 werden ein Grundgerät und ein
Anbausatz zusammengeführt.
Die gesamte Gebrauchsanleitung für
den Führungswagen FW 20 setzt sich
deshalb aus 2 Gebrauchsanleitungen –
Grundgerät FW 20 und Anbausatz
FW-TS – zusammen.
Immer beide Gebrauchsanleitungen vor
der ersten Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam
lesen und für späteren Gebrauch sicher
aufbewahren.
Zusätzlich die Gebrauchsanleitung des
verwendeten Trennschleifers beachten.
Aufnahme montieren
NRohr (1) nach oben klappen
NSchrauben (2) M8x25 von oben
durch die Langlöcher in der
Aufnahme (3) stecken
NAufnahme (3) so ausrichten, dass
die Kerbe (4) am oberen Langloch
mittig zur Schraube liegt
NSechskantmuttern mit Scheiben
aufschrauben und festziehen
Trennschleifer anbauen
NTrennschleifer so anlegen, dass die
Bolzen (1) in die Bohrungen der
Stütze (2) ragen
Klemmplatte nach Schutz ausrichten
Aussenanbau des Schutzes
NKlemmelement in Position A
montieren
Innenanbau des Schutzes
NKlemmelement in Position B
montieren

NRohr (3) nach unten klappen und
dabei den Verriegelungshebel (4) in
die obere Position bringen
Nmit festem Druck auf das Rohr den
Verriegelungshebel nach unten
drücken und am Griffrohr einrasten
Gasbetätigung anbauen
NKnopf (1) am Hebel für die
Schnitttiefenverstellung abdrehen
NSchrauben (2) herausdrehen und
Gehäusehälfte abnehmen
Mitnehmer ersetzen
NMitnehmer (3) mit nur einer
Aufnahmebohrung müssen durch
Mitnehmer (4) aus dem Anbausatz
ersetzt werden
Gaszug montieren
NGaszugnippel (5) und
Gewindehülse durch den Halter (6)
führen
NSechskantmutter (7) aufschrauben
NGaszugnippel in
Aufnahmebohrung (B) einhängen
Gaszug einstellen
NBügel in Vollgasposition bringen
NGaszug mit unterer Mutter spannen
bis der Hebel (9) am Anschlag ist –
der Gaszug muss sich in der
Führung befinden, Gashebel in
Vollgasposition
NSechskantmutter (8) festziehen
NBügel lösen – Leerlaufposition – der
Gashebel des Trennschleifers muss
sich in Leerlaufposition befinden
Gaszug nachstellen
Bei montiertem Trennschleifer lässt sich
der Gaszug falls erforderlich
nachstellen.

NBügel in Vollgasposition bringen
NSechskantmutter (1) lösen
NHülse (2) drehen und Gaszug nach
Bedarf einstellen
NHülse (2) mit Sechskantmutter (1)
kontern
Anschlag prüfen / einstellen
Prüfung ist nur erforderlich, wenn der
Mitnehmer getauscht wurde.
NAbstand (a) muss 1 bis 2 mm
betragen – anderenfalls die Position
des Anschlages (1) korrigieren
(Pfeile) und Gaszugeinstellung
prüfen
NGehäusehälften wieder montieren
und Knopf auf Hebel aufschrauben
Trennschleifer abbauen
NVerriegelungshebel am Rohr nach
oben drücken und Rohr nach oben
klappen
NTrennschleifer abnehmen
Probeschnitt
Ergibt der Probeschnitt eine im
Vergleich zur Segmentbreite der
Trennschleifscheibe erheblich breitere
Schnittfuge (ca. 1,5 fache
Segmentbreite), muss die korrekte
Montage der Trennschleifscheibe
überprüft werden.
Transport
Zum platzsparenden Transport kann der
Sterngriff gelöst und das Führungsrohr
nach vorne geschwenkt werden (evtl.
montierten Wasserbehälter entfernen).

A basic machine and an attachment kit
are combined to produce a complete
cart FW 20.
The complete instruction manual for the
cart FW 20 therefore consists of two
instruction manuals – one for the basic
machine FW 20 and one for the
attachment kit FW-TS.
Always read both instruction manuals
carefully before using your machine for
the first time and keep them safe for
future reference.
Additionally, observe the instruction
manual of the cut-off machine used.
Installing the mount
NRaise the tube (1) to the up position
NInsert screws (2) M8x25 from above
through the oblong holes in the
mount (3)
NPosition the mount (3) so that the
notch (4) in the upper oblong hole is
centered in relation to the screw
NScrew on and tighten the hexagon
nuts with washers
Mounting the cut-off machine
NPosition the cut-off machine so that
the pins (1) protrude into the holes
in the support (2)
Aligning the clamping plate to the guard

NLower the tube (3) and at the same
time lift the locking lever (4) to the
raised position
NHolding the tube firmly down, press
down the locking lever and engage
it on the handlebar.
Mounting the throttle control
NTwist off and remove the button (1)
on the lever which controls the
cutting depth adjustment
NUnscrew the screws (2) and remove
the half of the housing
Replacing the carrier
NCarriers (3) with only one hole must
be replaced with carriers (4) from
the mounting kit
Mounting the throttle cable
NGuide the throttle cable nipple (5)
and screw sleeve through the
support (6)
NScrew on hexagonal nut (7)
NNest the throttle cable nipple in the
holding hole (B)
Adjusting the throttle cable
NSet the bracket bow to the full-
throttle position
NTighten the throttle cable at the
lower nut
until the lever (9) rests against the
end-stop – the throttle cable must be
located in the guide, with the throttle
lever in the full-throttle position
NTighten up the hexagon nut (8)
NRelease the bow – Idle position –
the cut-off machine throttle lever
must be in the idle position
Readjusting the throttle cable
When the cut-off machine is mounted,
the throttle cable can be readjusted if
necessary.

NSet the bracket bow to the full-
throttle position
NUnscrew the hex nut (1)
NTurn the sleeve (2) and set the
throttle cable as needed
NLock the sleeve (2) with the hex
nut (1)
Checking / adjusting the stop
Checking is only necessary if the carrier
has been replaced.
NDistance (a) must be 1 to 2 mm –
otherwise, correct the position of the
stop (1) (arrows) and check the
throttle cable setting
NRefit the two molding parts and
screw the knob on to the lever
Dismounting the cut-off machine
NRaise (release) the tube locking
lever and raise the tube clear of the
machine
NLift out the cut-off machine
Trial cut
If the result of a trial cut is considerably
wider than the width of the abrasive
wheel segment
(approximately 1.5 times the segment
width), check that the abrasive wheel is
correctly fitted.
Transport
The star handle can be unscrewed and
the guide tube swung forwards for
compact transport (remove the water
tank, if fitted).
