Quick Start Guide
Thank you for purchasing the Stoltzen Typhoon Series! These instructions apply to both
the Stoltzen Typhoon XD Series and Stoltzen Typhoon X Series DSP's.
Device Interface Connection:
1. The POWER port connects the 110V-220V AC power supply, and the processor
power supply is controlled by a rocker switch.
2. The ETHERNET port establishes a connection between the device and a client
computer for debugging, programming, and monitoring purposes.
3. The Dante port connects the device to a Dante audio network.
4. The RS232+RS485 port connects the device to control terminals or central control
equipment.
5. The GPIO port serves a similar function and connects control terminals or central
control equipment.
6. The OUTPUT port connects the device to power amplifiers, active speakers, and
other equipment.
7. The INPUT port connects the device to line signals, microphones, and other audio
source equipment.
To ensure the reliable use of equipment and the safety of personnel, please observe the
following items during installation, use, and maintenance:
•During equipment installation, ensure that the ground wire in the power cord is
well grounded and that the grounding point of the chassis is also well grounded.
Do not use a two-core plug. Ensure that the input power of the equipment is
100V-240V, 50/60Hz alternating current.
•Keep the working environment well-ventilated to ensure that the heat generated
by the equipment at work can be discharged in time, so as not to damage the
equipment due to high temperature.
•When the equipment is not used for a long time or in a humid and dewy
environment, turn off the total power supply of the equipment.
•Before removing or reinstalling any part of the equipment, or disconnecting or
reconnecting any electrical plug or connection, be sure to unplug the AC power
cord of the equipment from the power supply socket.
•Non-professionals are not allowed to disassemble the equipment without
permission, as there are AC high voltage components in the equipment which
could pose a risk of electric shock. Do not repair without permission to avoid
aggravating the damage degree of the equipment.
•Do not spill any corrosive chemicals or liquids on or near the equipment.
Please be sure to follow these guidelines to ensure safe and reliable usage of the
Stoltzen Typhoon Series
