1. FUNCIONAMENTO DA LANTERNA
A. Enrosque a bateria na lâmpada: Quando a bateria está devidamente enroscada,
os LEDs acendem um a um.
B. Insiraacintanosuporte:Aespumapresentenosuportedevecaremcontacto
com a sua testa.
C. Deslize a lâmpada para dentro do suporte.
D. Incline a lâmpada no suporte girando a parte cilíndrica.
E. Destrave a segurança: depois de desbloquear a trava, pode aceder aos modos
de iluminação pressionando a paleta. Bloqueie a trava de segurança antes de
transportar ou armazenar a lanterna.
F. Prendaalanternaemdiferentessuportes:Vejaexemplosdexaçãoeosnossos
acessórios aqui.
G. Aceda aos diferentes modos: Pressione uma vez para aceder ao nível seguinte
(mais potente) e pressione longamente para voltar ao nível anterior (menos
potente).
Modo simples: este esquema indica os diferentes níveis de potência em lumens,
as respectivas autonomias em horas e o alcance aproximado em metros.
Modo oculto: acessível ao pressionar longamente quando a lâmpada está
desligada. Este esquema indica os diferentes níveis fracos (branco contínuo,
vermelho contínuo e vermelho intermitente).
ATENÇÃO:Estalâmpadaéclassicadacomograuderisco2conformeanorma
IEC62471.Trata-sedeumriscomoderado.Noentanto,aradiaçãoópticaemitida
pela lâmpada pode ser perigosa.
H. Controlo da iluminação: O sistema electrónico mede o nível de carga da
bateriadeformaconstante.Emqualquermodo,quandoabateriaatinge10%,a
intensidade luminosa deixa de ser regulada e diminui lentamente até chegar a alguns
lumens. Quando o limite mínimo de bateria é atingido, a lâmpada pisca e depois se
apaga.Nessecaso,épossívelpassarparaomododesobrevivênciamanualmente
acendendoalâmpadanovamenteaocolocá-lanomodooculto.
2. INFORMAÇÕES DA BATERIA
UtilizarapenasasbateriasSTOOTSEasyLock18.LubricaroanelO-ringdabateria
(aquiemazul)comumlubricantedesiliconeassimqueasuaremoçãocomeçar
acardifícil.Oanelpodesersubstituídoseestiverdanicado.

paraevitarcurto-circuitos.

5. Manter fora do alcance de crianças.
6. Nãodestruirbateriasrecarregáveis;elaspodemexplodirouliberarsubstâncias
tóxicas.
7. Nãotentarabrirouconsertar.

3. INFORMAÇÕES DO CARREGADOR
Utilizar apenas carregadores STOOTS. Ligar o carregador a uma porta USB que
forneçanomínimo1Aa5V(computador,adaptadorUSB,carregadordesmartphone...).
A luz laranja indica que a bateria está devidamente ligada e a carregar.
A luz verde indica que a recarga está completa (cerca de 4h a 1A).
A bateria pode permanecer ligada no carregador mesmo quando a recarga está completa.
A bateria pode ser recarregada mesmo se não estiver completamente descarregada.
É ideal realizar de 2 a 3 ciclos de recarga e descarga completas a cada ano.
ATENÇÃO: Não armazenar uma bateria quase vazia durante muitos meses.
4. INFORMAÇÕES GERAIS
a. Não olhar xamente para a luz quando a lâmpada está acesa; não apontar
a luz para os olhos de outra pessoa. A lâmpada não é recomendada para
crianças.
b. Armazenaralanternadevidamentetravada,emtemperaturaentre-20°Ce+30°C.
c. O bloco luminoso de alumínio cumpre a função de radiador para evacuar o calor
liberado pelos LEDs. Em plena potência, quando a temperatura exterior é elevada,
emposiçãoestáticaouconnada,oblocopodeatingirtemperaturasrelativamente
elevadas. O contacto com a pele pode causar queimaduras.
d. A lanterna só é à prova d’água se a bateria estiver enroscada corretamente. A
lanterna não foi concebida para funcionar em águas profundas durante muitas
horas.
e. A lanterna, com a bateria bem enroscada, pode ser passada sob água corrente.
Evite correntes de alta pressão. Depois de limpar ou utilizar em atmosfera húmida,
deixealanternasecar(aoarlivreoucomumpano)antesdearmazená-laem
local fechado.
f. Em funcionamento, a lanterna gera um campo magnético muito fraco. A
curtadistância(menosde10cm),elapodeeventualmenteperturbaraparelhos
magnéticos como bússolas, aparelhos de detecção, aparelhos cartográcos…
g. Os LEDs, os circuitos eletrónicos e a bateria não devem ser descartados no lixo
comum.Descarte-osnareciclagemconformearegulamentaçãolocal.
5. RESPONSABILIDADE:
ASTOOTSnãoseresponsabilizapelasconsequênciasdiretas,indiretasouacidentais
ou quaisquer outros danos ocorridos ou resultantes da utilização da lanterna.
6. GARANTIA STOOTS:
Agarantiacontraqualquerdefeitodematerialoudefabricoéde2anosparaas
lanternasSTOOTSede1anoparaosacessórios.Estagarantianãoincluiodesgaste
normal,aoxidação,asmodicaçõesfeitasporsi,oarmazenamentoinadequado,a
manutenção inadequada, os danos causados por acidentes, negligência ou utilização
quenãocorrespondeànalidadedalanterna.

after a long press when the lamp is switched o. This diagram indicates the

H. Lightcontrol:Theelectronicscontinuouslymeasurethebatterychargelevel.In
anymode,whenitreaches10%ofbattery,thelightintensityisnolongerregulated
andslowlydecreasesuntilitreachesafewlumens.Oncetheminimumbattery
thresholdisreached,thelampashesbeforeswitchingo.Youcanthenswitch
tosurvivalmodemanuallybyturningitbackonbyaccessingthehiddenmode.
2. EASYLOCK BATTERY INFORMATION
OnlyuseSTOOTSEasyLock18batteries.BesuretogreasethebatteryO-ring(shown
hereinblue)withsiliconegreaseassoonasremovalbecomesdicult.Thesealcan
be changed if it is damaged.

3. CHARGER INFORMATION
OnlyuseSTOOTSchargers.ConnectthechargertoaUSBportdeliveringatleast1A
at5V(computer,USBpoweradapter,smartphonecharger...).
TheorangelightindicatesthattheeasyLockbatteryisconnectedandcharging.The
chargeiscompletewhenthelightturnsgreen(about4hat1A).
TheeasyLock batterycanremainconnectedto thechargerevenafterchargingis
complete.
EasyLockbatteriescanberechargedeveniftheyarenotcompletelydischarged.Ideally,
2to3completechargeanddischargecyclesshouldbeperformedeveryyear.
WARNINGS:DonotstoreanearlyemptyeasyLockbatteryforseveralmonths.
4. GENERAL INFORMATION
a. Donotstareintothebeamofthelampwhenitison;donotdirectthebeamofthe
lampintotheeyesofanotherperson.Thelampisnotsuitableforchildren.
b. Storethelamplocked,atatemperaturebetween-20°Cand+30°C.
c. Thealuminiumlightblockactsasaheatsinktodissipatetheheatgeneratedby
theLEDs.Atfullpower,whentheoutsidetemperatureishigh,inastaticorconned
position,itcanreacharelativelyhightemperature.Contactwiththeskincanlead
to burns.
d. Thelampisonlywaterproofifthebatteryhasbeentightlyscrewedin.Thelamp
is not designed to operate in deep water for several hours.
e. Thelamp,withthebatterytightlyscrewedin,canberinsedwithwater.Avoidwater
pressure.Aftercleaningoruseinadampatmosphere,drythelamp(air,cloth)
beforestoringitinaconnedarea.
f. Duringoperation,thelampgeneratesaveryweakmagneticeld.Atshortdistance
(less than 10cm), it can possibly disturb magnetic devices such as compasses,
detection devices, mapping devices...
g. LEDs, electronic circuits and batteries should not be disposed of with household
waste.Placethemintherecyclingbinsprovidedforthispurposeinaccordance
with the applicable local regulations.
5. LIABILITY :
STOOTSisnotliableforanydirect,indirectorincidentalconsequencesoranyother
damage arising or resulting from the use of this lamp.
6. STOOTS WARRANTY:
STOOTSlampsarewarrantedfor2yearsandaccessoriesfor1yearagainstdefects
in materials and manufacturing. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear,
oxidation,modicationsbyyou,improperstorage,impropermaintenance,damage
duetoaccidents,negligenceoruseotherthanthatforwhichyourlampisdesigned.
