HOW THE SOLAR LIGHT WORKS
During the day, the solar panel converts solar energy into electricity which is stored in a rechargeable battery.
At night, the light automatically comes on, using the stored electricity. The duration of the lighting depends on
the geographic location, weather and season availability of light.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT LOCATION
Choose a place outside with su_cient light where the solar panel can charge itself without interruption for at
least 6 hours. At the same time, ensure that the solar lamp is located in a place that is not illuminated at night
by other night light sources (eg street lamps). These night light sources can prevent the solar lamp from
switching on automatically.
ASSEMBLY
1. Switch on the solar lamp by pressing the button on the
bottom (FIRST USE ONLY).
2. Mount the main unit (A) to the base (B).
3. Mount the solar lamp on the wall with 2 screws
WARNING BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using for the first time, remove the strip, the light sensors automatically control the solar lamp. When it
gets dark, the solar lamp turns on and starts using energy from the rechargeable battery. If the solar lamp does
not turn on automatically at night, check the following:
1. Make sure the power switch is at the “ON” position.
2. Check whether the batteries have been correctly put in place and that the contacts fit tightly.
3. Make sure that the solar lamp is located on a surface which receives light and that the solar panel is exposed
to direct sunlight.
PRECAUTIONS
1. Be aware of the fact that the solar light is designed to switch on automatically after dark. If it is near a
powerful source of light, it might not turn on.
2. The light’s battery is fully charged by the producer, but by the time the light arrives with the final customer,
it might be partially, or completely, discharged. For this reason, please leave the solar light to charge all day for
its maximum performance.
3. Maintain the surface of the solar panel clean. A dirty panel may reduce the efficiency of the charging.
CHANGING BATTERY
If the solar light stops working after 12 months of use, the battery must be
changed. Unscrew the three screws and open the battery cover. Replace the battery with
a new, rechargeable battery.
CLEANING TE SOLAR PANEL
Protect the solar panel from dirt. Otherwise, the charging efficiency of the battery is reduced. Clean it regularly
with a damp cloth or paper towel.
STORAGE
We recommend removing the battery from the device before storing the solar lamp for a long time. If you decide
to keep the battery in the device, it must be completely discharged and must be charged at least once a month
during storage.
