TEMPERATURE CONTROL
To adjust th t mp ratur in ith r s ction,
pr ss th
WARMER or COLDER k y pads on
th control pan l.
Th t mp ratur rang s ar 34˚F (1˚C) to 45˚F
(7˚C) in th r frig rator s ction, and -5˚F (-21˚C)
to +5˚F (-15˚C) in th fr z r s ction. It is
normal for t mp ratur s to fluctuat slightly,
d p nding on xt rnal influ nc s such as an
op n door, th d gr of humidity and room
t mp ratur .
LCD DISPLAY
El ctronic control functions, such as digital
t mp ratur s and s rvic indicators, ar
shown in th LCD display, locat d on th
control pan l. If you ar using your unit
fr qu ntly, th numb rs may fluctuat .

SABBATH MODE (STAR-K)

Sabbath mod will not disabl th ic mak r.
To initiat Sabbath mod , whil th unit is on,
pr ss th
UNIT ON/OFF k y pad so that OFF
is visibl in th LCD display. Th unit will b
off.
Th n pr ss and hold th
UNIT ON/OFF k y
pad for 10 s conds. This will turn th unit back
on and will disabl th lights. To r turn th
unit to normal lighting, pr ss and r l as th
UNIT ON/OFF k y pad.

ADJUSTABLE GLASS SHELVES
To r mov or adjust sh lv s, first tilt th sh lf
up at th front, th n lift it up and out of th
tracks on th r ar wall of th unit. R f r to th

If th door is limit d to a 90° op ning, you'll
n d to cl ar th door sh lv s in ord r to
r mov a sh lf. Lift and pivot th nd of th
sh lf n ar st th door upward, and r mov .
To r plac a sh lf, ins rt it in th tracks at th
r ar of th r frig rator with th front of th
sh lf rais d slightly. As you push th sh lf in,
low r th front of th sh lf until it locks into
position.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Always b car ful in
handling glass sh lv s to pr v nt br aking or
scratching th int rior.
UTILITY BIN
Th cl ar utility bin slid s in and out so that
you can acc ss small contain rs and food
it ms asily.
To r mov th bin, simply pull th bin straight
out. R plac th bin using th r v rs proc ss.

ICE MAKER OPERATION
Th ic mak r in th mod l UC-24CI fr z r is
fully automatic and has b n t st d at th
factory.
Th l v l of ic in th ic contain r is
controll d by an ic l v l arm. Wh n th
contain r is fill d with ic , th ic l v l arm
s ns s th l v l and shuts down th ic mak r.
As ic is us d, th l v l drops and th ic l v l
arm signals th ic mak r to r stor ic
production.
To shut off th ic mak r, lift th ic l v l arm
up or to th off position.
ICE PRODUCTION
Th ic mak r is d sign d to produc nough
ic for normal family us . Th timing of ic -
making cycl s will vary d p nding on load
conditions, door op nings and room t mp ra-
tur . On av rag , you can xp ct a cycl of ic
( ight cub s p r cycl ) v ry two hours until
th contain r is full.
