Sudio is a company based in Stockholm, Sweden that is
disrupting the industry by transforming people’s perception
of earphones from being an electronics product to become
a wearable accessory with studio quality sound. The watch
industry has been used as inspiration where the product has
evolved from serving the purpose of showing time to equally
important being an accessory to complement an outfit.
We quit our jobs to build the product we wished already
existed. At the time being there were no earphones that could
be admired the way other accessories are. We could all relate
to the every day enrichment beautifully designed items such
as watches, wallets and sunglasses can contribute to - when
gathering the essentials for the day. Items that have been crafted
and designed without tradeoffs.

PHIL COLLINS GAVE US DETERMINATION
AND THE NAME
The name Sudio came to be when one of the founders spotted
the musician Phil Collins in New York having problems with his
headphones. With the frustration of not yet being able to offer
any better alternative to Phil the only words he could say were:
“Trust me I know the feeling”, as they shared eye contact. The
name “Sudio” is an homage to Phil Collins song “Sussudio” and
the determination of succeeding with the venture rendered from
the bitter sweet anecdote.

PHILOSOPHY
THE ART OF SOUND
Sound is vibrations that propagates through a medium. The
objective of an earphone is to mimic the original vibrations that
were generated when the piece of sound was recorded.
The most common mistake when taking on the challenge of
reproducing sound is to forget to take the flaws of the human
being in to consideration. To understand the art one has to study
the psychoacoustics of the human species. With the science of
human’s perception of sound as a background, one can start
to make informative choices of how to maximize the user’s
experience by mitigating the flaws and boosting the effects that
really matters.
At Sudio we always begin by defining the experience we want
to achieve. From this we define the technical specifications that
corresponds to the experience.

HOW NIVÅ WORKS
The Nivå consists of 2 earpieces automatically synced with one another, labeled “L” and “R.” The
earpiece labeled “R” is the master earpiece which will connect the Nivå to your device. The earpiece
labeled “L” will follow the commands of earpiece “R.”
If earpiece “L” and earpiece “R” fall out of sync, please visit www.sudiosweden.com/FAQ for
instructions.
PRECAUTIONS AND USAGE
Do not use the product in ways other than described. Handle with care at all times and protect
from damage. Do not expose the earphones to heat, magnetism, cold, damp environments or
abnormal wear and tear e.g. by bending or pulling them. Please avoid using strong force against the
earphones as it could lead to damage. Clean with a slightly damp fabric.
The WEEE-symbol means that the product should not be mixed with normal household waste, please
return to facilities for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Administrative Regulations on Low Power Radio Waves Radiated Devices warning:
ARNING
Never listen to music at an uncomfortably high volume, this may permanently damage your hearing.
Never use the earphones in traffic or in other places where your hearing is needed to perceive
dangers. Always store small accessories out of small children’s range. Always lower the volume
before you connect.
Article 12
Without permission granted by the NCC, any company, enterprise, or user is not allowed to
change frequency, enhance transmitting power or alter original characteristic as well as
performance to a approved low power radio-frequency devices.
Article 14
The low power radio-frequency devices shall not influence aircraft security and interfere legal
communications; If found, the user shall cease operating immediately until no interference is
achieved.
The said legal communications means radio communications is operated in compliance with
the Telecommunications Act.
The low power radio-frequency devices must be susceptible with the interference from legal
communications or ISM radio wave radiated devices.

HUR FUNGERAR NIVÅ?
Nivå betsår av två hörlurar som automatiskt synkroniseras med varandra. Hörluren som är märkt med
R är den dominanta hörluren som paras med din enhet. Hörluren som är märkt med L kommer att
följa hörluren R.

FÖRSIKTIGHETSÅTGÄRDER OCH ANVÄNDNING
Använd inte produkten på annat sätt än beskrivet. Hantera alltid med försiktighet och skydda mot
skador. Utsätt inte hörlurarna för värme, magnetism, kyla, fuktiga miljöer eller onormalt slitage, t.ex.
genom att böja eller dra dem. Undvik att använda att använda hörlurarna vårdslöst eftersom det kan
leda till skador. Rengör med fuktigt tyg.

HVORDAN NIVÅ VIRKER
Nivå består af 2 ørestykker, der automatisk synkroniseres med hinanden, mærket “L” og “R.”
Ørnemærket mærket “R” er hovedstukken, som vil forbinde Nivå til din enhed. Ørepladen mærket “L”
følger kommandoerne til ørestykket “R.”

COMMENT NIVÅ FONCTIONNE
Le Nivå se compose de 2 écouteurs synchronisés automatiquement les uns avec les autres, étiquetés
«L» et «R.» L’écouteur «R» est l’écouteur principal qui connecte le Nivå à votre appareil. L’écouteur
étiqueté “L” suivra les commandes de l’écouteur “R.”

PRECAUTIONS ET USAGE
N’utilisez pas le produit de manière autre que celle décrite. Manipulez-le avec précaution et
protégez-le d’éventuels dommages. Ne pas exposer les écouteurs à la chaleur, au magnétisme, aux
environnements froids, humides ou à l’usure anormale, par ex. en les pliant ou en les tirant. Évitez
l’utilisation de la force contre les écouteurs car cela pourrait entraîner des dommages. Nettoyer avec
un tissu légèrement humide.
Le symbole WEEE signifie que le produit ne doit pas être mélangé à vos déchets de tous les jours,
veuillez utiliser les installations de recyclage pour les déchets de type électriques et électroniques.
ATTENTION
N’écoutez jamais de musique à un volume très élevé, cela peut endommager votre audition de
manière permanente. N’utilisez jamais les écouteurs dans le trafic ou dans d’autres endroits où votre
audition est nécessaire pour percevoir les dangers. Rangez toujours de petits accessoires hors de la
portée des jeunes enfants. Baissez toujours le volume avant de vous connecter.

COME FUNZIONA NIVÅ
Il sistema Nivå è composto da 2 auricolari che sono automaticamente sincronizzati tra loro,
contrassegnati con le lettere “L” e “R”. L’auricolare “R” è l’auricolare principale che collegherà Nivå
al tuo dispositivo, mentre l’auricolare “L” eseguirà i comandi dell’auricolare “R”.
Casomai i due auricolari dovessero non essere più in sincronia, sei pregato di seguire le istruzioni

PRECAUZIONI E MODALITÀ DI UTILIZZO

domestici, si prega di portarlo negli impianti dedicati allo smaltimento dei rifiuti elettronici.
AVVERTENZE
Mai ascoltare la musica ad un volume troppo alto, il tuo udito potrebbe essere definitivamente
danneggiato. Non usare mai gli auricolari nel traffico o in posti dove è necessario sfruttare l’udito
per percepire eventuali pericoli. Mettere sempre i piccoli accessori fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
