Programming Instructions
SG Wand Charging
To charge the motor battery only use a DC5V Micro USB Plug-in charger. When charging is complete the
wand indicator light will be solid green and the motor may beep 3 times.
Charging time can be up to 7 hours depending on usage.
DO NOT LEAVE CHARGER IN AFTER FULLY CHARGED.
Basic Modes: Follow Steps Below to Set Motor Limits
Step 1 - Plug In Wand
With the up, stop and down buttons facing forward, hook the SG wand onto the motor hook. Then plug in
the top cable. Refer to steps A, B and C.
Step 2 - Check Operating Direction
Check up and down direction of shade. If incorrect follow the steps below.
Step 3 - Setting Motor Limits
Allows you to set two positions: the upper and lower limits.

Press and hold. Release both buttons after
motor beeps 3 times.

Move shade up and down to test upper and lower limits.
If limits require adjustment, factor reset the motor and repeat limit setting.

Advanced Modes: Motor Limits Must Be Set
Setting Preferred Position
Allows you to set a third limit position for the shade. Only 1 third limit position can be setup per motor.
Tilt Mode Incremental Movement
Tilt mode is used to move the shade in small increments for fine adjustment. Follow
the steps below to set the shade in tilt mode or remove shade from tilt mode.
Motor Reset
The motor factory reset mode will wipe all previous programming. To factory reset motor follow the steps
below.
Press and hold. Release both buttons after
motor beeps 3 times.

When setup is complete, hold the stop button to go to the preferred shade position.
Repeat the steps above to change preferred position. To delete preferred position factory reset the motor.
