HOW IT WORKS
Your SUNHEAT infrared zone heating system is a truly effective way to su le-
mentally heat any area of your home. The six industrial grade quartz infrared
tubes, with Diamond Like Coated (DLC) Nichrome wire, transfer their heat waves
to the cured co er canisters within the unit. Because of this rocess, it will take
less than a minute for the fan to kick on and begin to rovide safe, soft, comfort-
able warmth. The infrared heat stored in the co er is transferred to eo le and
objects in the room in a remarkably even manner. This transitive heating system
rovides “Free Heat” as the system cycles off when the desired tem erature set-
ting is reached, the timer runs out or the heater is turned off. It is normal for the
fan to run as the heat chamber cools down.
1) Air is brought into the heat chamber through an easy to clean, washable filter.
(See next age for Filter Maintenance)
2) Cured co er cylinders surround the long-lasting quartz and DLC Nichrome
infrared heating tubes. The high velocity fan ulls filtered air over the co er
cylinders, transferring accumulated heat to the moisture in the air. There is no
drying of the air with this method of heating and no harmful chemicals or
ollutants are released.
3) As the heat transfer occurs, moisture in the air absorbs the infrared heat as it
circulates around and through the heat exchanger. The air exits the heater
a roximately 120˚F warmer than the air entering the heater.
4) Soft, warm, moist air flows out of the front vent of the Original SUNHEAT
heater. This heating rocess allows your body and the objects in the room to
absorb and hold the infrared heat. This creates a comfortable and even
tem erature from floor to ceiling and wall to wall.
Note: The fan will continue to run for approximately 6 minutes after the
desired temperature setting is reached, timer runs out or heater is
turned off, whether by front panel or by remote control.
This is normal. The residual heat or “Free Heat” is a by product of
cooling the heat chamber and is essential to protecting the key
elements of the heater. It is also an important energy saving feature
of infrared heating.
