Read and follow all the instructions in this “User Manual” even if you feel you are familiar with the product, and find a place to keep
it handy for future reference.
Your attention is drawn particularly to the section concerning “IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS”.
For your convenience record the complete model number (located on the product identification plate) and the date you received the
product, together with your purchase receipt and attach to the warranty and service information. Retain in the event that warranty
service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product (as marked on the product identification plate)is based on specific loading tests. Normal use or
the use of other recommended attachments may drawsignificantly less power.
IMPORTANT SAFE GUARDS
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
WARNING - to reduce the riskof fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:
1. Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product
identification plate.
2. Remove the unit from its packaging and check to make sureit is in good condition before using.
3. Children mustbe supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Do not operate any product with a damaged cord orplug, or after the product malfunctions, or is droppedor appears
damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase forinspection,repair or replacement.
5. This applianceis not intendedfor persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructionconcerning useof the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
6. Do not twist, kink or wrap thepower cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulationto weaken and split
particularly where it enters theunit.
7. Before unplugging the power cord, be sure to turn the poweroff. When touching the unit, besure your hands are dry to
prevent electric shock.
8. Ensure the cordis fully extended before use and arrange it so that it is not incontact with any part of the heater.
9. Do not use the heater in areassuch as garages where petrol, paint or other flammable substances are used or stored.
10. Avoid touching the heater body whilst the heateris on. If theunit needs to be moved, switch off and only hold the heater
by the handles where provided.
11. Do not use near orpoint the heater at furniture, animals, curtains orother flammable objects. Keep combustible materials
such as furniture, drapes, bedding and any other furnishings at least 2metres from the front, sides, and rearof the heater.
12. Do not place the cord under carpet or cover with throw rugsor furniture. Arrange the cordso that it cannot be tripped over.
13. Do not place the heater on bedding or on thick andlong pile carpet where the openings may be blocked.
14. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose theproduct or flexible cordto rain, moisture or any liquid
other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
15. This productshould not be used in the immediate vicinity ofwater, such asbathtubs, washbowls, bathrooms, swimming
pools etc. where thelikelihoodof immersion orsplashing could occur.
16. Switch off and unplug from outlet when not inuse, beforeassembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning.
Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
17. A common causeof overheating is deposits of dust and fluffentering the heater. Ensure these deposits are removed
regularly by unplugging the heater, allowingit to cool down completely and cleaning as describedin the Cleaning and
Storing section.
18. Be sure that no other high current appliancesare pluggedinto the same circuit as your heater, as an overload can occur.
19. Avoid the use of an extensioncord as the extension cord may overheat and causea risk of fire.
20. Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
21. Do not use this appliance outdoors. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY.
22. Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
23. Do not place objects on the product or allow objects to obstruct the inlet or outlet openings, or operate in close proximity
to walls or curtains, or locate the heater immediately below a socket outlet.
24. Do not cover theunit when inoperation, as this can lead toa risk of fire.

25. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended orsold by the product distributor may cause personal or
property hazards or injuries.
26. This product is intended for normal domestic/household useonly and only tobe used on the floor.
27. Do not mount onceilings or walls.
28. Use this heateras describedin this manual. Any otheruses, not recommended by the manufacturer,may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury topersons and may void thewarranty.
LOCATION
1. The appliance should be placed a minimum distance of 2 metres away from flammable and combustible materials (e.g.
curtains), walls or other structures.
POWER CORD
1. Do not lay thecord under carpet, rugs, mats or similar articles. Position the cord sothat it does notpose an obstruction or
a tripping hazard.
2. Always pull the plug outof the socket do not pull the cord!
3. Always disconnect the mainsplug when the appliance is notin use. Attention! The appliance may only be used in normal
domestic instances and not for industrial use.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Before first use, remove all packaging and inspect the appliance for any damage. If there appears to be any damage,
please take the unit back to place ofpurchase for a replacement.
2. Ensure that allthe accessories are included as per the diagram below before continuing with the installation.
3. Ensure that thelocation of the heater is notdirectly under apower socket and thata power socket is available to power
the appliance.
USING THE HEATER
1. Carefully remove the heater from the packaging.
2. Place the heater on a firm level surface, away from anyobstructions or combustiblematerials.
3. Ensure the unit is turned “Off”. Plug the cord into a power outlet.
4. Once plugged in, press the On/Off Button at the bottom of the unit to turn it on.

Fan mode:
MANUAL/REMOTE OPERATION:
1. Press the ON/OFF button at the top of the unit, the fan heater will switch ON and the fan will blow. The COOL AIR
indicator will illuminate.
2. To switch the fan OFF, press the ON/OFF button. The unit will continue to operate for 10 -15 seconds, and then it will
switch OFF.

Heating mode:
MANUAL/REMOTE OPERATION:
1. Press the ON/OFF button at the top of the unit, the heater will switch ON and the fan will blow. The COOL AIR
indicator will illuminate
2. Press the MODE button, to operate at 1000W. The 1000W indicator will illuminate.
3. If more heat is required press the MODE button again, to operate at 2000W. The2000W indicator will
illuminate.
4. Press the OSC button, to startoscillation. The “OSC” indicator will light up. Tostop the swing function,
press the OSC button again - the indicator light should be no longer illuminated.
5. To switch the heater OFF at anytime, press the ON/OFF button until the “COOL AIR” indicator light flashes. The fan
heater will continue to operate for 10 -15 sec, and then it will switch OFF.
NOTE: Always remember to turn the unit off by the On/Off button at the base of the unit.
Timer function:
The timer functionallows the fan heater to operate continuously at 30 minute intervals, and can be programmed up to 7.5 hours
before it automatically turns OFF. This applies for both Manual and Remote operation.
1. Press the TIME button once for 30min operation before the unit will automatically turn itself OFF.
2. Press the TIME button again for 1 hour etc. Repeat this process until thedesired time of operation is achieved.
3. The time indicators will light up depending on the time chosen. For example, if the timer is programmed to operate for
5.5 hours, the indicator4h, 1h, and 0.5h will be illuminated on the control panel.
4. To cancel the timer function. Press the TIME button until all indicators lights are OFF.
Overheat Protection:
Your heateris fitted with a safety device that switches the heater off, should the unit overheat or tip over,it will switch off
automatically.If this should occur, all you need to do is:
•Disconnect the plug from the electrical socket and wait at least 30 minutes before pluggingit back in.
•Ensure the heater is not covered and nothing is obstructing any of the vents.
•Plug the heater back into the electrical socket and switch theheater on.
•If the problem persists and thesafety deviceswitches off the heater again, return the heaterto the place of
purchase.
•If the heater has tipped over, repeat the above instructions and ensure the heateris positioned on a level surface.
BATTERY
The remote control uses 2 x AAA batteries. We recommend lithium type batteries for longer use.
Please dispose of batteries as per instructions on the battery packaging.
HINTS/TIPS TO RETAIN THE HEAT IN YOUR HOME
•Do not overheatyour home,in winter the temperature ofa heated room should be between 18-21°C
•Choose the rightsize heater for the room thatyou wish toheat.
•Zone off the unoccupied rooms by closing doors,and curtains to limit heatloss.
•Use draft stoppers where possible, to keep the cold air from filtering in under doors.
•Avoid placing items, or sitting too close to the heater for optimal air flow.

CLEANING &STORING
•Always disconnect the appliance from the main power outlet and allow to cool before cleaning.
•Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp, lint free cloth or use a dusting brush and a vacuum cleaner.
•Do not use anydetergents/solvents or chemical agents to clean the heater. Never immerse the appliance in water!
•Clean the air inlet regularly with a vacuum cleaner.
•Make sure that the heater has cooled down completely before storing. Storing the heater in its original box is highly
recommended.
