• Your motion light is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of small children.
• Your motion light and solar panel are both weather-resistant.
• You can mount your motion light indoors, but your solar panel must be installed outdoors to receive light from
the sun.
• If using a step ladder, you may require a second person to help install the solar motion light.
• Prior to installation, lay out all components to ensure they correspond to the parts diagram on the cover page.

• Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for the intended use: for optimal
performance use 3 AA Ni-MH 1800 mAh 1.2V rechargeable batteries. If this battery is not available locally,
any 1.2V rechargeable AA battery will be adequate for the light to operate.
• Always replace the whole set of batteries at one time, taking care not to mix old and new ones, or batteries
of different types.
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
• Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ and -).
• Remove batteries from equipment which is not to be used for an extended period of time.
• Remove used batteries promptly.
For recycling and disposal of batteries to protect the environment, please check the internet or your local
phone directory for local recycling centres and / or follow local government regulations.
For more information on battery housing and location, refer to Step 9 on page 3.

• From time to time, ensure the plug between the solar panel and light is securely connected.
• It is advisable to adjust the angle of the solar panel to optimize the exposure of the sun during the winter
months.
• The solar panel should be cleaned with a damp cotton cloth on a regular basis. This will ensure optimal
performance and battery charging. Periodically, utilize the same technique to clean the lenses of the
motion lights.
• Never let any abrasive material come into contact with the solar panel.

installation
Ensure your solar panel is placed so that
its exposure to the sun is optimized. Be
aware of objects such as trees or property
overhangs that may impede the panel’s
ability to generate a charge.
Optional: Use a power drill (not included) to
create the holes on your chosen mounting
surface.
Use 4 of the included wall plugs and screws
to fasten the solar panel to the surface.
Insert the two remaining screws and wall
plugs into the surface, leaving 3.2 mm
(1/8 in) of space between the screw heads
and the wall. Place the motion light’s
mounting bracket onto the screw heads (1).
Lock the bracket into place by shifting it
horizontally (2).
Place the mounting bracket template (refer
to template shown below or use provided
insert) over the desired mounting surface.
Mark the screw hole locations indicated by
the symbol.
Use a power drill (not included) to drill the
holes on your chosen mounting surface.

2. Mark the screw hole locations ( X ) using a pencil or drill.
3. Drill holes in the marked locations.

Batteries are located in the battery housing behind the light xture.
Select the OFF position on the light prior to opening the battery
housing. Remove the four screws to reveal the batteries.
Refer to CAUTIONS: BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS on page 2 for
information on replacing the batteries.
Connect the wire from the solar panel into the socket
located under the light xture. Your solar motion light will
now begin to charge.
Once the motion light is installed, the side lamp
heads can be adjusted independently in a variety
of ways for optimal lighting coverage.
This screw can be tightened to
secure the positioning of the side
lamp heads. Do not over-torque
this screw as this action can
damage the plastic joint.
Prior to using your solar motion light, the solar panel needs
to be connected to the light for a period of three days. This
initial charge should be done in the OFF position. After the
third day, your included batteries will be fully charged and
your solar motion light is ready for operation. Place the light
in the AUTO position.
The ON position acts to override the motion activation
function. This will allow a limited period of constant
illumination.

Two different control switches adjust the light’s illumination
time and range of motion detection.
: Determines the duration of the light once motion is
detected: 30 seconds, 60 seconds or 120 seconds.
: Allows the positioning of the light’s motion sensor
to be tested day or night. Once the motion sensor is in the
desired position, attempt to trigger the light by moving
in the intended detection zone. If the light illuminates, the
motion sensor is positioned correctly. You are now ready
to move the switch to the preferred duration option. The
light will now only turn on in darkness.

1. 將模板剪下或使用所提供的插入件。
2. 使用鉛筆或鑽頭標記出螺絲鑽孔的位置（Ｘ）。
3. 在標記的位置上鑽孔。
如圖（2）所示，將托架以水平方向移動

電池位於燈具後方的電池匣內。在打開電池匣之前先將燈具上的開
關選定至關閉（OFF）位置。拆下四顆螺絲可看到內置的電池。
電池更換的資訊可參考第2頁的
將太陽能板的電線插入位於燈具底部的插座內。此時太陽能感
應燈即可進行充電。
感應燈一旦安裝完成，兩側的燈頭便能以不同的方向獨

• Siempre compre baterías de especicaciones similares. Para un rendimiento óptimo use 3 baterías recargables
AA Ni-MH de 1.2V y 1800 mAh. Si no encontrara estas baterías localmente cualquier batería recargable AA de

Coloque la plantilla del soporte de montaje (ver

Las baterías se encuentran en el compartimento posterior de
la lámpara. Ponga el interruptor en la posición de OFF antes
de abrir el compartimento. Quite los cuatro tornillos para sacar
las baterías.

Conecte el cable del panel solar en el enchufe ubicado
