Step 1: Pre-assemble the upper roof hook
clamp in Fig. 1. (Qty of 2 pcs). Use the
5/16” diam., 1” long counter sunk bolts
Step 2: Pre-drilling holes for lower roof hook clamps. Locate the
rafters in the roof and drill 2 holes [0.94”apart] for each roof
hook clamp. Holes should be 5/32” in diameter and 2.5 inches

Step 3: Pre-drilling the upper roof hook clamp holes. Drill
another set of holes. Hole C is 85.21” above Hole A. Use a
square to ensure you drill into the rafters! Now there
should be 8 holes pre-drilled into the rafters.
Step 4: Use the ¼” diam. 4.5” long lag bolts to secure
both of the lower mounting clips into the rafters (or
total # required for each collector, see Reference
Diagram 1).

Step 5: Place roof flashing over the lower roof hook
clamp.
Step 6: Cut overhanging shingles if necessary to
accommodate flashing

Step 7: Insert the bottom lip profile of the collector into the
lower roof hook clamp by angling the collector as needed.
Step 8: Slide the upper roof hook clamp (made in
step 1) into collector’s upper lip.

Step 9: Bolt the upper roof hook clamp into the rafters and
apply the flashing as specified in step 5 and 6. When the
flashing doesn’t obstruct the shingle, the shingle does not
need to be cut.
Step 10: Attach the flexible hydraulic
connectors to the headers with the O-rings
and clamp.

Step 11: Slide the second collector’s lower lip into the lower roof
hook clamp.
Step 12: Slide the upper roof hook clamp into
the collector's upper lip.

Step 13: Align the upper and lower header connections as shown in Fig. 13 and 14. Then slide the collectors together.
Insert the connection clip as shown in Fig 15. The product should look like Fig. 16.

Step 14: Insert the connection bracket
between the two collectors and secure the
bolts at both the bottom and the top of the
collector.
Step 15: Bolt the upper roof hook clamp in for the second
collector and install the roof flashing.
