Installation Procedure:
1. Unpack and check for damage
2. Remove battery tag (if present)
2. Test unit before installation
3. Remove white plastic ring from the under side of the vent before installing.
4. When installed refit white plastic ring (not in wall fitting)
Installed on glass:
Solar Vent can be installed into glass surface. However, as much as possible it should be installed
facing the sun equator.
Installation accessories are included in this package, all you need is a glass cutter suitable of cutting a
120mm diameter hole.
Installed on boat deck / caravan roof:
Use a suitable hole cutter with a 120mm diameter
Use a suitable adhesive/sealant, for additional fixing if required, insert no. 6 screws through the
eyelets; it is recommended to use screws made of brass or stainless where salt water is involved.
Installed on wall:
Solar Vent can be installed into walls or other materials with a thickness greater than 40mm (1 &
9/16 inches). Use masonry hole cutter with a diameter of 120mm cut & depth suitable for the wall.
Through the eyelets insert no. 6 screw along with suitable raw plugs. A tubular extension can be
purchased.

Operation
The fan can operate in either intake or extract mode with the rocker switch,
switched to either in or out.
The High/Low switch controls the speed of the fan.
