Notice for Users
For customers (AC220V)
IMPORTANT
During the first time installation to connect our LCD to the electric distribution network, installation person
must be cutting OFF all electricity supplied in advance: by switching down the fuse breaker inside
the host Power Utility Box (NOT TURNING OFF the power outlet switch). While live AC power grid is
always ready within your electric networks, we recommended there are no others transfer-switches
attached or improper devices installed within the same network; also the earth grounding procedure must
be employed to guaranty safety grounded connection to avoid electric-shock!!
The Open Wires Power Cord or type-G CEE 7/7 European Plug has been terminated in this mains
lead colored in accordance with the following code:
GREEN : Earth
BLUE : Neutral
BROWN : Live
As the colors of the open wires in the mains lead of this apparatus
may not correspond with the colored markings identifying the
terminals in your plug proceed as follows. The wire which is
colored GREEN must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked by the letter E or by the safety earth or colored green or green-and-yellow.
The wire which is colored BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N. The wire which is colored BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter L. Ensure that your equipment is connected correctly-if you are in any doubt
consult a qualified electrician locally.
"WARNING: THISAPPARATUS MUST BE EARTHED"
ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill.
•Do not touch live electrical parts.
•Use only grounded or double insulated equipment.
•Stop power on Outdoor LCD before making internal inspection or reconnection.
•Install and ground Outdoor LCD according to all applicable national, state, and local
codes.
•Connect equipment grounding terminal to a proper earth ground.
•Do not connect to any electrical distribution system normally supplied by utility power

Incoming Inspection
Suntronic Outdoor LCDs are designed, built and packaged to withstand the shock and
vibration normally associated with shipment by common carriers. Occasionally improper
handling during shipping causes damage. Such handling could include unbanding of
palletized shipments, failing to respect
"This Side Up"
arrows, rough handling,
falling off conveyors, excessive vibration, crushing, etc. Therefore, a thorough
inspection should be done upon receipt of all shipments. Any carton tears, dents,
scratches, loose articles or evidence of oil are signs of damage and should be noted
on the Freight Bill. Cartons should be opened promptly and the units inspected for
CONCEALED DAMAGE. Suntronic Outdoor LCDs must be delivered in the proper mounting
position to assure that damage to the compressor has not occurred during shipping.
Any Suntronic Outdoor LCDs that is delivered removed from the banded pallet, lying
down or double stacked should be refused. An immediate claim MUST be filed with the
freight carrier and an inspection requested. Retain all packing materials. Suntronic
cannot assume responsibility for Consignee's failure to file a timely freight claim.
Product Handling
Before operating the Outdoor LCDs, to be certain that it is placed in its correct
mounting position.
All Suntronic Outdoor LCDs containing an “L” as part of the
model number are designed to operate in a landscape position only. For “P” in
the model number are designed to operate in a portrait position only.
PROCEDURE FOR PROPER PACKING AND SHIPMENT OF SUNTRONIC OUTDOOR LCDS:
■Always Keep Outdoor LCDs in proper upright position indicated by arrow markers.
■Pack Outdoor LCDs in an appropriate carton (preferably original carton if possible),
with adequate internal protective packaging, making sure carton is marked and is
kept in correct upright position.
■Outdoor LCDs should be placed at the site where the qualified power supply and
clean and good ventilation are all provided.
■ For local, controlled transportation, strap carton to a secure part of truck to
prevent falling or sliding, minimize vibration, etc.
■ For common carrier shipment, band unit(s) securely to a pallet. Non-pallet shipment
risks severe damage which voids the warranty.

- 4 -
DISCHARGE PROCEDURE FOR IMPROPER HANDING AND MOUNTING OF SUNTRONIC OUTDOOR LCDS:
■Make sure the Out Door LCD is power-off.
■Settle down the Outdoor LCD in proper upright position indicated by arrow markers.
■Keep the Outdoor LCD in ground level for 36 hours (at least). The bevel between
Outdoor LCDs and ground shouldn’t less than 5°. This resettlement will help the
A/C compressor oil to drain back the right sump area.

Suntronic LCD are twice as bright as indoor LCD. The sun, however delivers more than 30 times
the brightness. Therefore, it is important that you do not place the TV where the screen faces
direct sunlight. This will cause the image on the screen to be washed out.
Intense direct sunlight falling on the screen over an extended period of time may cause dark spots
to form on the screen image. This is a characteristic of LCD technology and is a temporary condition
that will go away after the screen is pointed away from the sun.
For optimum viewing, Suntronic recommends the following placement and installation guidelines.
1. Ideal placement is in an area where is shaded by tress, landscape and/or structures, or under
a patio cover or gazebo.
2. Suntronic recommends mounting the LCD on Suntronic's articulating; tilt and swivel wall mount
so the LCD screen can be turned away from the location of the sun (see Figure 1).
The articulating wall mount also allows the TV to be rotated away and angled down from any highly
reflective surfaces such as water, white walls, concrete, etc
4. Important Note: In all instance, Suntronic must be installed at least 5 feet from water’s edge.
