2.2 Power Supply and Charger
Please fully charge the battery by using AC/DC Adaptor before
you use this GPS navigator for first time.

2.2.1 Power supply
There are two methods of supplying power for the GPS built-in
battery; connection by the AC/DC connector or connection by the
USB connector.
The Symbol of [ ] at the top tight of the Display
indicates the PNA is using the build-in Li-battery to supply power
when it is not connecting with any adaptor. The symbol of
[ ] on the electrical setting interface indicates
the current battery capacity.
The PNA uses the external power supply from AC to DC when it
is connected with the adaptor.
Note: this PNA uses a built-in, factory installed Lithium battery.
In normal conditions (if the back light is not so bright), the fully

charged battery can be used for 10 hours, however the actual
supply hours can vary because of the different ways of using the
navigator. Some functions (audio playing, video playing, too
bright back light) will consume more electricity, which will reduce
the usage hours.
Important: this machine uses a built-in, factory installed Lithium
battery. In order to avoid the possibility of overheating or fire,
please do not poke, dent, take apart or throw the battery into fire
or water. The battery will crack and explode or release dangerous
chemical material.

2.2.2 Charging battery by AC/ DC Adaptor
Please fully charge the GPS by AC/DC adapter before use.
1. Connect the DC Jack of the Adaptor to the Power In port on
the right side of the machine.
2. The other end is connected to the electrical socket, to supply
AC power and charge the battery.
Note: the indication light is red when charging. Please do not pull out the
adaptor until the light turns green to show it is well charged. Please
charge your PNA in good time when it shows that battery power is low.

2.2.3 Charging by car cigarette lighter adaptor
1. Please connect one end of the car lighter adaptor to the
Power In port on the right side of the machine.
2. The other end is connected to the car light adaptor socket to
supply power and charge the battery.
Warning: Please connect the Car Kit adapter after starting the car's engine
to prevent the electrical surge from damaging the PNA.

2.3 Basic Operation Procedures
2.3.1 Turn battery on/off
The battery switch [ ] on the right side of the machine is
used to control the system power supply
Upward switch [ ] indicates power supply on, by battery
or adaptor.
Downward switch [ ] indicates power is off and the
system can not be started up.
Note: When the switch is off, it can still charge the machine as it
is just cut off the system power supply.
Extra Information: If the PNA has not been used for a long
time, you can save the power by using the downward switch.

2.3.2 Power on/off
The power key [ ] can control the power on/off. Power off
indicates the system is on Pause / Energy saving mode, the
system keeps the last operation status when you power on again.
1. Power on:
Please check: The battery is well charged, or the machine is
connected with adaptor and the switch is upward [ ].
Press the “power” key [ ] on the top of machine to power
on.
Important: When you carry the PNA from one place to another,
you need to wait until the machine has adapted to the local
environment to avoid the risk of short-circuit caused by changes
in humidity and temperature.
