1.3 FCC Compliance
The SDS-35 has been tested and complies with the limits of Federal
Communication Commission [FCC] Rules and Regulations Part 15,
subpart B unintentional radiator.
Note! This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against
harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment
generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the
equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
– Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
– Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different
from that to which the receiver is connected.
– Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician
for help.
Modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could
void the user's authority to operate the equipment under FCC rules.
The equipment has been tested as a component in a typical
configuration with a typical power supply. Since the host equipment

1.4 Responsibility
The supplier of the equipment accepts no responsibility for injury or
damage to personnel or equipment, if the equipment is altered in any
way or used in a manner for which it was not intended at the time of
delivery. If the conditions for use of the equipment are changed,

2 Safety Precautions
This guide contains hazard information which must be read by all
users. The hazard information is presented as a warning as follows:

2.1 Warnings
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock
Lethal voltages exist in the machine when connected to mains power.
Make sure you disconnect the power cord before cleaning or servicing
the machine.

The machine is of metal construction and must therefore always be
earthed to the supply. Ensure that both the plug on the supply lead
and the supply source are earthed. This is a requirement for this type
of equipment and if not adhered to will contravene the national and
international standards of Health and Safety in the work place.

This machine contains moving parts and sharp edges. Always be
careful. Do not touch the components inside the machine while it is
running.

3 Installation
The SDS-35 require some basic installation.
The customer will be responsible for installation, including mounting
the safe.
Customers that require professional installation services can contact
local SUZOHAPP territory dealer for details.

3.2 Positional References
Unless stated otherwise, positions and directions such as left, right,
upper, lower, rear, clockwise and counter-clockwise are given with
respect to the machine when viewed from the front.

4Introduction
SDS-35, Smart deposit Solution with MFL (Multi Front Load) front
loading Banknote Note Validator (BNV), and electric lock is an ideal
way to improve accuracy, cash visibility, and shrinkage protection of
cash handling.
The SDS-35 helps to:
– streamline and automate cash handling,
– reduce loss from theft and shrinkage,
– avoid counting inaccuracy and counterfeit notes,
– improve employee security.
Integrated with the user software, the SDS-35 allows the customer to
monitor cash levels, validate banknotes to prevent counterfeits,
simplify banknote validation processes, and securely store notes for
protection against theft.

The user manual applies to SDS systems using software version
CashComplete™ On-Device 3.x.x.

5.1 Getting Started
• Connect the power cord to the back of the SDS-35.

5.2 Shutting Down/Restart Machine
Caution! Shutting down by disconnecting the power cord, might result in a
corrupt file system making the computer unusable.
a) Log in using Administration ID.
b) Select Operator View.
c) Select Exit Program.
The application will shut down.
d) When Continue? is displayed, select Yes.
The desktop is displayed and the normal commands (Shutdown,
Restart and Cancel) can be selected.
e) When the computer has shut down, power off the machine with
the power cord.

5.3 Default Configuration Roles
There are three predefined roles: Cashier, CIT and Administrator.
The CIT has the following options:
The Administrator has the following options:
Role User ID PIN code Description
Cashier 10–29 - The Cashier has no PIN code and can only
access deposit mode. By entering the Cashier ID
the machine is ready for a deposit.
CIT 2222 1234 First time entering the user will be prompted to
enter an new 4-digit PIN code.
Administrator 1234 1234 First time entering the user will be prompted to
enter an new 4-digit PIN code.
Icon Description
Print Machine Total The total content in the machine. The content is displayed on
screen, if a printer is not connected.
Empty Cash Boxes Unlocks the electronic lock. The user can remove the cash
box and collect the notes.
View Machine Total The machine total will be displayed.

Print Transaction History Retrieves previous transaction data. Displayed on
screen, if a printer is not connected.
Daily Operations Transactions made the same day. Displayed on screen,
if a printer is not connected.
Empty Cash Boxes Unlocks the electronic lock. The user can remove the
cash box and collect the notes.
Start Deposit Start a new deposit session.
Print Machine Total The total content in the machine. Displayed on screen, if
a printer is not connected.

Administration In the administration view the user has following options:
Edit User • Add users or edit user information.
Change PIN • Change PIN code.

5.4 Set System Time
In Set System Time the time zone, date and time are set.
a) Log in as Administrator.
b) Select Administration.
c) Select Set System Time.
d) Select Time zone to set the time zone.

e) Filter the list of time zones by selecting the appropriate letter on
the keyboard to the left.
In the example below the user has entered “G”.
The list displays every location beginning with a G.
The list can be filtered even more by selecting one of the marked
letters on the keyboard.
f) Select the correct time zone in the list.
