2.SV105modelinformation

SV105isatriaxialHand‐ArmseataccelerometerbasedonMEMStransducers.Itisdedicated
forHumanVibrationmeasurementsperformedaccordingtoISO8041:2005standard
requirements.AccelerometercanbeeasilyusedwithSVAN958andSVAN948fourchannel
analysers.WithoptionalSC39ScableitispossibletoconnectSV105transducertoany
vibrationmeter/analyserwithIEPEinputsbythemeansofthreeseparateBNCconnectors
3.UnpackingandInspectingthepackagecontents
Ifthedevicehasbeenkeptortransportedinlowtemperature(below0°C),itis
recommendedtoleaveitforafewhoursinroomtemperaturebeforeconnectingittothe
powersupply.Ifanysteamcondensationappears,itisrecommendednottoconnectthe
devicetothemainselectricityfor4to8hoursuntiltheexteriorsurfaceisdry.

Despitecarefulpacking,theriskofthedevicedamagecannotbeentirelyeliminated.Upon
delivery,pleasemakesurethatthedeviceisnotdamagedandverifythatyoureceivedthe
orderedequipmentandoptionalaccessories(ifordered).Incaseofanyproblems,please
contactanauthorizedSvantekrepresentative,theservicestafforthemanufacturerdirectly.

7.CalibrationoftheSV105Hand‐Armsensor

Calibrationcanbeperformedbyusingaccelerometersensitivityorvibrationcalibratorwith
dedicatedadapterSA105(optional).Accelerometercanbeeasilyinstalledtothecalibration
adapterandthenfixedinallthreeaxisonashaker.
TheSV105Hand‐Armsensorshouldbetested/calibratedat79,58Hz
•InstallthesensortotheSA105calibrationadapter(inthesamewayastheadapters
formeasurementsonvarioussurfaces)
 
•Accelerometer must be calibrated in all the three directions of the measurement.


8.GeneralCareandCleaning
•Removethesensorandswitchthedeviceoff
•Disconnectthedevicefromthepowersupply.
•Wipethedevice’ssurfacewiththeclothdampedwiththemixtureofwarm
wateranddetergent.
•Aftercleaning,wipethedevicewithdryclothandwaituntilthesurfaceis
completelydry.
•Donotimmersethedeviceinanyfluidsasthismaydamagethedeviceand
causeelectricalshock.Onlytheexternalpartsofthedeviceshouldbecleaned
