First use
Beforeyoucanstartusingtheradio,youwillneedtoconnecttoyourwirelessnetworkfirst,thisisdonein5easysteps.
1. Afteryouturnontheradioforthefirsttime,thefollowingscreenwillappear:

3. YouwillbeaskedtoselectyourWLANregion.Usethescrollknobtoselectthecorrectregionandpress“Select”toconfirm.
4.Theradiowillnowscanforanddisplaytheavailablewirelessnetworks.Selectyournetworkandpress“Select”toconnect.Ifyournetworkisnotlistedorifyouhaveahidden
network,pleaserefertothetroubleshootingsectionofthismanual.
5.Ifyourwirelessnetworkissecured,theradiowillnowaskyoutoenterthenetworkkey.ThiskeymayalsobeknownasWEP,WPAorPre-shared(PSK)key.Usethenavigation
buttonstonavigatetotherightcharactersandpress“Select”toenterthem.Pressingthe“Back”buttonwilldisplaydifferentcharactersonscreen.Whenfinished,goto
andpress“Select”toconfirmthekey.Note:Thekeyiscasesensitive.Formoreinfo,refertothe“Textinput”sectionofthismanual.
Youshouldnowbeconnectedtoyourwirelessnetworkandyouarereadytotuneintooneofthe11000radiostationsor9000podcasts.Youshouldseethefollowingscreen:
Tolistentoaradiostation,scrolltoStationsandpress“Select”,youcanusethescrollknobtofurthernavigatethemenuandselectastationbylocation,genreorsearchbystation
name.Podcastsworkinasimilarfashion.
Optionallyyoucanalsochangethemenulanguageoftheradio,thiscanbedoneunderthe“SystemSetup”–>“Language”menu.
Wealsorecommendsettingthetimezoneafterinitialsetupforcorrectdisplayofthetimeontheradio.Thissettingcanbeaccessedat“SystemSetup”–>“TimeSetup”–>“Set

Internet radio mode
Inthismode,youcanlistentointernetradiostationsandpodcasts.Youcanalsoaccesslistsofpopularandnewstationsaddedtotheinternetradioservice,accessfavouritestations
andmanuallyaddedstations.Formoreinformationonfavouritesandmanualstations,pleaserefertotheon-lineservicessectionofthismanual.Formoreinformationonthe
individualmenuoptionsinInternetradiomode,pleaserefertothemenureferencesectionofthismanual.
Whentunedintoaninternetradiostation,youwillseethefollowingontheplaybackscreen:
Bypressingthe“Info”button,youcandisplayvariousinformationaboutthecurrentstation.Wheninamenu,pressingthe“Info”buttonwillreturnyoutotheplaybackscreen.
Shortlypressingthepresetbuttonletsyouselectapresetstationfromthelistof10presets,pressingthepresetbuttonforafewsecondsletsyoustorethecurrentstationasa
preset.
Musicplayermode

Protected shares
Ifyouwanttoplaybackmusicfromanetworksharethatrequirescertaincredentials,theradiowillautomaticallyaskyouforausernameandpassword.
FM mode
InthismodeyoucanlistentoordinaryFMradiostations.Pressthenavigationbuttonstotunetoastationmanuallyorpressthe“Select”or“Scan”buttontosearchautomatically.
Shortlypressingthepresetbuttonletsyouselectapresetstationfromthelistof10presets,pressingthepresetbuttonforafewsecondsletsyoustorethecurrentstationasa
preset.
Auxiliarymode
