4. CRT-541 DesignSpecification
4.1 CardThickness Adjustment
CRT-541 makesitmoreaccurateand convenienttodispensethe cardsindifferentthickness via
rotatingthe turn-knob todifferent gearposition soastoadjustthegap between theupperandlower
transmittingwheels,whichcaneliminatethe inconvenientand inaccurategap adjustmentdefects.
Withthisfeature,CRT-541isquitesuitableforthe unattended vendingdevicestodispensevarious
cardsof distinct thickness.
Thereareseveralstepstoadjust the thicknessof cards:
1. Confirmthe thickness of cards(Raisedtype characterarenotinvolved in)
2. Pushthe turn-knob andturnaround tothegraduation pointedbytheredarrow.Seeing
picturesbelow.
3. Makesuretheadjustmenton the rightpositionbyinsertcardsfromstacker.(Inserting one
cardfromstackerwillbesmoothand twocardssimultaneouslyfrombehindcanbe
impossible)

5.GeneralCommunicationProcess
(1)Afterreceiving correctdatapackage,theunitwillcheck the address.If matched,unit must
givepositiveanswertohost: ACK+ADDRESS(ADDRESSisthe address ofdispenser,2
bytes); If not, unit can not send anydatatothehost.
The unitgivesnegativeanswerifreceivederrorresponseorBCC error:NAK+ADDRESS
(ADDRESS isthe address ofdispenser,2bytes).Ifthe address isnotmatched,data
package cannot bere-sent byunit.
(2)The hostmustre-send command package when connectwithPCagainafterreceiving
negativeresponse.Ifit isstillnotcorrectafterseveralre-send,suggestthe host alarm,and
the usertocheck the communication circuit.
(3)The hostmustnotsend nonexistentaddress number,otherwise,willnotreceiveany
responsemessage.
(4)The unitissubordinatetothe host.Withoutreceiving the command fromthe host, Itwill not

7.MaintenanceAndCautions
7.1 Maintenance
Afterusing forlong timeordispensing amount of cards,the dispensermaybe weariedout
becauseofeverypartisrunning, soweneed todo somemaintenancetothemachine.The
stepsasfollows:
1）Check the partsof the dispenser.If theybecomelooseorabnormal, tighten them.
2）Check the strapsof drivewheels. If theybecomeloose, calibratethepositionof the
elasticitywheel.
3）Usecleaning cardorsoft clothwithalcoholtoclean the dispenserwheelinthe bottom
of the hopperand thedrivewheel.
4）Usesoft clothwithalcoholtoclean the dirtycardsandreplacethedistortion cards
5)Check thegraduation of knobtosee whethertheyarecorresponding.
7.2 CautionsForSafe Use
1）Ensurethepowerisoff whilerepairingthewholemachine.
2）Noticethe cathode and anode of the machinepowerwhilepoweron forthefirst time.
3）Noticethe SpecificationofJUMPwhen usingforthefirst time,becauseimproperJUMP
willcauseworkofforunpredictablestatus.
4）Prohibit toinset orpullout the receptacleof the port when poweron. Otherwise, the
circuitof thecontrollercircuit maybe spoiled
5)Ensurethe dispenserout of smear.The smearwillaffect the capabilityof the
dispenser.
6)Ontheback ofdispenserside board, thereisared soft manual “Reset”keystoke.
Whenerrororabnormalsituationoccursonspot, thenengineercanpressthiskeystoke
forreset. It isnot usedingeneralsituation.
7)Reset function: cardscleaning up instackerand withdrawcards.
8)Resetovertimeprotection:Motorwillstop running toprotectitselfifpressing the Reset
bottomforalong time.
