WELCOME
Welcome to Sytech! Thank you for purchasing the new bathroom scale “Fitlip” SY-BS545C.
Please read this manual carefully before operating your product and pay close attention to the
precautions which are mentioned below. Store this user manual in a safe place for future
reference.
•SAFETY ADVICE AND WARNINGS
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
•This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
•Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are supervised.
•DO not use the scale if you have a pacemaker or any other medical implant
with electronic components. The electronic implant can affect the
measurements.
•Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the floor, if there are visible signs of damage
or if it has a leak.
•Avoid all contact with the liquid that could be released from the battery. In case of contact
with eyes, wash them thoroughly and seek medical advice. The liquid spilled from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
•Place the appliance on a horizontal, hard, rigid, flat, stable surface that is free from
vibrations. Avoiding any contact of the weighing area with walls or other objects not to be
weighed. Otherwise, it will not show the right weight.
•Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
•Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed to moisture. If water gets into the
appliance, this will increase the risk of electric shock.
•CAUTION: Maintain the appliance dry.
•Do not use the appliance with wet feet.
•To avoid inaccurate results caused by electromagnetic interference between electrical
and electronic equipment’s, do not use this appliance near to a cell phone or microwave
oven.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
When using the bathroom scale for the first time, you will need to remove the isolation sheet
before use.
The 3V CR2032 battery is included in the package.
Change old battery:
A battery change is necessary when “Lo” or nothing at all is shown on the display.
1. Open the battery case cover located at the bottom of the scale.
2. Remove the used battery. Take out the battery with the aid of a sharp object as shown in the
picture.
3. Install the new battery by inserting one side of the battery beneath the battery baffle and then
press downwards the other side.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Before sing yo r bathroom scale, make s re it is placed on a flat level s rface s ch
as wooden or marble s rface. Avoid carpet or soft s rfaces.

Meas ring yo r weight:
1. Gently step on the scale avoiding sudden movements, staying immobile and without touching
other objects, until the device shows the magnitude referring to the weight.
2. The LCD light will automatically turn on.
3. The default unit of measurement is set to “kg”. To change the unit measurement, simply press
the UNIT button (3) to switch between “lb” (pounds) or “st” (stonepound).
4. Stand evenly and try not to move.
5. The weight will be shown on the display once stable and locked.
AUTO SHUT OFF FUNCTION
Once you step off the scale, the unit will automatically switch off after a few seconds.
BODY ANALYZER
The new body analyser bathroom scale integrates 4 sensitive electrodes “Bio Well”. These
electrodes involve harmless and weak current flow through your body.
Entering personal data:
1. Step gently on the weighing scale surface.
2. Press the “SET” button to enter the setting mode.
3. Use the or the to select the desired Pre set number
4. Press the “SET” button once more to select the gender:
5. Press the “SET” button once more to select your age. The default age shown is 25.
6. Press the “SET” button to select your height. The default height shown is 165 cm.
7. Press the “SET” button once more to finalise your personal data input.
8. The display will automatically show all the data stored in sequence.
9. If you would like to have your first body analysis done, wait a few seconds until “0.0”
appears on the display (see next chapter).
10. If the scale is not used for some time, it will automatically shut off.
Note: The stored data can only be overwritten by making a new entry.
Performing body analysis:
1. Body analysis can only be performed once you have stored your data on one of the pre
set numbers.
2. Gently step barefoot on the weighing scale surface with both feet placed on the sensors.
3. Distribute your weight equally and wait for the scale to determine your weight.

4. Press the “SET” button and select your personal Pre set number.
5. Remain standing and still and do not hold any object in your hands.
6. Shortly after a few seconds, the weight will appear on the LCD display.
7. The indicator will display “o” in a running sequence for a few seconds as it is carrying
out the body analysis measurements. Remain standing still.
8. Once the body analysis has been finalized, the following values will be displayed on the
LCD display:

A final evaluation of your result will be displayed on the LCD screen as follow:
Indicator and description:
Under fat: Your body lacks of fat
Healthy: Your body conditions are normal
Overfat: Your body contains excess of fat
Obese: Your body has extreme excess of fat
Weighing tips:
•Body analysis should be carried out bare foot. Make sure your feet are slightly moistened
or damp. Dry feet can lead to false results since the electrical conductivity is poor.
•During the measuring process, always stand still and do not hold or lean on any object.
•Do not weigh yourself directly after physical exertion.
•Do not weigh yourself immediately after standing up. Wait for approximately 15 minutes
until the water in your body has been distributed evenly.
•To get a precise information, repeat the weighing process to obtain comparable values.
More abo t fat val es in body:
The proportion of body fat gives the amount of fat as a percentage of the total weight of the
body. A blanket recommendation for this value does not exist, since this depends significantly on
sex (because of different physiques) and age. Body fat is vital for day to day body function. It
protects organs, cushions joint, regulates body temperature, stores vitamins, and serves the
body as an energy store. For women, a body fat proportion between 10% and 13% is essential;
for men, between 2% and 5% with the exception of competitive sportsmen.
The proportion of body fat is not an unambiguous indicator of health. Excessive body weight
and a too high proportion of body fat are being linked with the appearance of many diseases of
affluence such as diabetes, cardiovascular illnesses, etc.
Physical inactivity and poor diet often trigger off these diseases. There is a clear causal
connection between excess weight and physical inactivity.

A considerable part of the human body consists of water. This body water is variably distributed
throughout the whole body. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water, blood around 83%
water, body fat approx. 25% water and bones have a water proportion of about 22%.
. In men approx. 60% of body mass consists of water.
. In women, that value lies around 55% (determined by a higher proportion of body
fat).
Approx. two thirds of this total body water are stored in the cells and therefore called
intracellular water. The other third is extracellular water.
GUIDELINE VALUES FOR BODY FAT AND BODY WATER CONTENT AS A
PERCENTAGE (APPROXIMATE FIGURES)
WARNING INDICATOR
For muscle mass there are no standard values.
Body mass index (BMI):
The BMI indicates the ratio of height to weight and is only and approximate calculation.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an index of 18.6 to 25 is optimal.
Since men typically have higher percentage of muscle mass in the total body mass than
women do, the age and gender play an important role in interpreting the BMI.

FAULT AND REMEDY
Display shows “Err”
The bathroom scale can weight up to 180 Kg. If the weight is over the maximum permitted, the
display will show “Err” which means “Overload”.
Please step off to avoid and damage.
You have left the scale during the ongoing body analysis.
Display shows “Lo”:
When the battery is low, the display will show “LO”. Change the battery following to steps shown
previously above.
The scale appears to be displaying wrong weighing res lts:
Make sure the scale is placed on a flat even surface.
Make sure there are no electrical devices nearby which can cause electromagnetic disturbance.
Remove the battery from the inner battery compartment, wait for a moment and reinsert it.
Display shows “Er”:
The proportion of fat in % is too low or too high and therefore cannot be displayed.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch does not work.
2. Remove the batteries from the appliance if you are not going to use it for some time.
3. This appliance is for household use only, not professional, industrial use.
4. Store this appliance out of reach of children and/or persons with physical, sensory or reduced
mental or lack of experience and knowledge.
5. Do not short circuit the battery terminals as this may cause an explosion or fire.
6. The battery/ies should be stored at a temperature of below 40ºC.
7. CAUTION: Do not use the appliance if the glass is cracked or broken.

8. Use the device only with the battery/ies for which has been specifically designed. The use of
any other battery/ies s can cause an explosion or fire hazard.
9. The glass platform will be slippery when wet. Make sure it is dry before using it.
10.Keep standing still during the course of weighing.
11.Do not kick or drop the scale as this can cause the glass to break.
12.Treat the scale with care as it is a precise instrument.
13.Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT Immerse the scale in water or use chemical
/ abrasive cleaning agents.
14.Keep the scale in a cool place with dry air.
15.Always keep the scale in a horizontal position.
16.If the scale fails to turn on, check whether the batteries are well installed or power is low. Insert
or replace new batteries if necessary.
17.If there is an error on the display or the display does not turn off for a long time, please remove
the batteries and wait for 5 seconds. Insert the batteries and try again.
18.If the results are not accurate, please check whether the battery is not low as this can cause
unprecise reading. Replace the battery and test again. If necessary, contact Sytech technical
service department for a proper solution.
SERVICE:
- Make sure that the appliance is serviced only by specialist personnel, and that only
original spare parts or accessories are used to replace existing parts/accessories.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the
manufacturer’s liability null and void.
