Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this state-of-the-art integrated windup-
powered / solar powered radio, flashlight and phone recharger.
To enjoy this product fully, please read and keep these
instructions.
Cautions:-
•
When the product is left idle for more than 60 days please re-
crank the charger for 3 ~ 5 minutes or charge it from a
computer USB port for 3 hours to activate the internal battery.
•
Do not over-discharge this unit. Switch off the light / radio if
light becomes feeble or radio becomes quiet.
•
Keep the rubber plug closed when rear sockets are not in use.
•
Do not use alcohol or other solvents to clean the product,
only use a soft, moist cloth.
•
Avoid pointing LED light directly at eyes. The intense light
could cause harm to eyes.
•
Do not connect any other leads / accessories / equipment to
this device other than those approved by BAYLIS.
•
Do not attempt to recharge, or use mobile phones in the
vicinity of explosive gases (ie petrol filling stations).

Operation:-
•
Hand Cranking Generator: Draw handle out from rear recess
and wind the handle about 2 turns per second (clockwise or
anti-clockwise). The charge indicator will illuminate.
•
USB charging: Connect the supplied usb cable to usb port of
the radio, and connect other end of cable to usb port of a
computer. The charge indicator will illuminate.
•
Solar Charging: Place product in daylight area. For best results
angle the unit so that solar panel is facing the sun.
•
LED torch (flashlight): Press the rubber button to switch light ON
/ Night Vision / OFF.
•
Mobile Phone Charge: Plug the supplied phone charge cable
into the unit’s “DC Out” socket and connect other end of
cable to mobile phone and crank the generator to charge the
phone.(Adapters to suit various phone brands can be found at many
popular Phone Shops, or visit our web site for information.)
•
Radio:(1) Turn on the Volume Control and adjust volume.
(2) Press the Band Selector as desired AM or FM.
(3) Turn the Tuning Control to find desired program. The
“Signal” lamp will light to indicate best signals.
•
Earphone / Speaker: An (optional) earphone can be
connected to the Earphone Socket. Speaker is disabled while
earphones are connected.
