Manual for Tech Li 500
The manual describes the standard model with a liing height of max. 500 mm. Techli is designed
for permanent installaon indoors or outdoors.
The liing plaorm can be used by people with reduced mobility (e.g. walking dicules, wheelchair
users, people with transport carts/bumpers) to overcome level dierences.
Driving on and o takes place at each end of the liing plaorm (straight passage). Techli is
designed and manufactured according to current standards to overcome level dierences. The liing
interval on the Techli can be set between 30-500 mm depending on local condions.
When the liing plaorm is used, it is assumed that the user has been instructed in the handling, or
that are trained personnel who use this aid/work tool.
Important
• The enre user manual must be read before using the product.
• Installaon of the Techli must be carried out by a Techline approved er.
• MAX. load 250 kg, must not be exceeded.
• The liing plaorm and ramp must be clean of gravel, fallen leaves, snow, etc. before use.
• The liing plaorm is for passenger transport, and must be used in accordance with what is
described in this manual.
• The liing plaorm must not be used in case of re.
• The safety equipment may only be reset by qualied assistance.
• Playing with and in connecon with the liing plaorm is not permied.
• A simple and usable »Emergency Procedure« must be described and agreed upon between user
and helper. It must ensure that the user is not trapped on the plate in the event of an electrical or
mechanical fault.
• The liing plaorm can be used in the temperature range -20 to +40 degrees
Use
Operaon - the liing plaorm is operated using the green handles marked up and down, (dead
man's grip) which causes the plaorm to stop immediately when the handle is released.
Use of the liing plaorm is simple and easy to understand even without any prior knowledge of the
product.
Raise the liing plaorm from the lowest level 0.
When the liing plaorm is in the lowest level, and the ramp is lowered, the wheelchair user can
drive onto the liing plaorm unhindered.

2. Acvate manual operaon by pressing »up« located on the tower of the liing plaorm and the
elevator
lis and the ramp folds up; then it funcons as run-o protecon.
3. When the liing plaorm is level with the landing, the plaorm stops automacally, and the user
can drive onto the ledge.
If the liing plaorm is overloaded, the lamp located on the liing plaorm's tower lights up and a
sound is heard from buzzer. In case of overload, the plaorm will not raise or lower. When the
overload is removed, liing plaorm can be used again.
4. Lower the liing plaorm from the top level 1. The wheelchair user drives onto the liing plaorm.
Acvate the manual operaon by pressing »down« placed on the tower of the liing plaorm and
the liing plaorm runs down. The »down« buon is acve as long as it is held down. When the
liing plaorm reaches its lowest level, the ramp is lowered, and the user can drive o the liing
plate form.
5. In the event of a malfuncon or error during travel, the red buon (emergency stop) can be
pressed, the plaorm will not be raised or lowered.
6. Reseng the emergency stop turn the red buon clockwise unl it lis, the li is now usable
again.
7. Descripon of emergency stop, Emergency stop may only be used in an emergency. If the
emergency stop is acvated due to of a fault, service personnel must be contacted to check the li
before it is put into use again. The emergency stop is placed centrally between the up and down
buons. It stops all funcons on acvaon. Disconnecon: the emergency stop is turned out and by
acvang the hand control the li starts again.
8. Oponal wireless operaon. It gives the user the opportunity to remotely control the liing
plaorm and thus be independent of a helper.
