Electronic wristwatch
"ELECTRONICS 100"
User manual
(software version 0.02, ed. 1)
Thank you for purchasing this watch. They represent our creative
reinterpretation of the legendary Elektronika-1 model (caliber 2651) from the
era of the emergence of electronic watches. The new watch, on the one hand,
accurately reproduces the dimensions of its historical prototype, and on the
other, has the best consumer qualities and functionality thanks to the use of
modern materials and technologies.
General information
The watch has 2 operating modes: “retro mode”, which maximally
replicates the “Electronics-1” watch with its segment indicator, and an
extended mode, in which information is displayed in a larger and more
readable graphic font, as well as a settings mode for controlling the
operation of the watch and information mode.
The watch is controlled using 5 buttons (including K2, K3, K5 - secret) and a
built-in rotation sensor. Information is displayed on the display by pressing a
button or by turning the clock in order to save energy (for more details, see
the “Technical Specifications” section).
Settings
To enter the settings mode, press K1 (time display), and without
releasing - K4. The settings menu opened by the last used menu item will
appear on the display, for example:
SETTINGS
RETRO MODE
1/6
+
By pressing K1, K4 the desired setting is selected, then by pressing K2 or
K3 the desired setting value is selected:
RETRO MODE– will the watch emulate the Electronics watch? 1" or
work in extended mode.
TURN ON– whether the rotation sensor is used to display time. If this
setting is activated, then in order to see the current time, you need to turn
the watch 45±5° away from you and hold it there for at least 1 second. The
display will turn off automatically after 2 seconds. Please note that when the
sensor is turned on, the watch's standby time is approximately halved (for
more details, see "Specifications").
SECONDS– will they be displayed in “extended mode”? seconds
simultaneously with minutes and hours, or separately as in “retro mode”.
DELAY– delay value for turning off the display after button release in
seconds.
CORRECTION– the amount of correction of the daily clock rate from -
12.7 to +12.7 seconds, which can be entered if the clock is systematically fast
or slow. For example, you set the exact time signal to 21:00:00. After 10 days,
the clock readings at the same moment were 21:00:07. Dividing the difference
in readings by the number of days of observation, we obtain the correction
value.
(21:00:07 – 21:00:00) / 10 = 0.7
Add (if the clock is slow) or subtract (if the clock is fast) the calculated
correction value to the current value. For example, the clock has already been
adjusted to 0.5. The clock has moved forward, which means the correction
value must be subtracted:
0.5 – 0.7 = –0.2
Press K2 and K3 to enter the desired value.
ENGLISH– will messages be displayed in English? language.
Exit from the settings mode occurs automatically after 2 s (the interval can
be increased by the “DELAY” setting) or by pressing K5.
Settings and are applied immediately after entering and are saved
even in the absence of a battery.

Retro mode
In this mode, information is displayed in a segmented font, as on the
prototype watch. By pressing K1 (or turning the clock, see “Settings”) the time
is displayed; if held for more than 2 seconds, seconds are displayed. By
pressing K4, the date and serial number of the day of the week are displayed
(1 – Monday, 7 – Sunday).
The time is set using buttons K2 (minutes) and K3 (hours). When you hold
down the corresponding button, the readings increase by 1 every 0.5 s.
Seconds are reset by pressing K5. Moreover, if at the time of zeroing the value
of seconds was from 41 to 59, the value of minutes will increase by 1.
Setting the date is done in the same way (K2 is the day of the week, K3 is the
date), but by holding down K4.
Advanced Mode
In this mode, information is displayed in a larger graphic font. By
pressing K1 (or turning the clock, see “Settings”) the time is displayed,
while the seconds are displayed immediately or by holding for more than 2
seconds, depending on the “SECONDS” setting. By pressing K4, the date
(day, month, year) and day of the week are displayed.
The time is set using buttons K2 (minutes) and K3 (hours). When you press
the corresponding button, the readings increase by 1, while when you hold
the button they will increase at a gradually increasing rate. By pressing K5,
the seconds are reset to zero in the same way as in retro mode.
Output of service information
To enter this mode, press K4 (date display), and without releasing it, press
K1. Information about the watch will appear on the display: product name,
software version, as well as the current power source voltage (for example,
2.98V). A dot appears on the bottom line every second. Exit from this mode
occurs automatically after 2 s plus the delay value set in the settings. In this
case, K1 disables the automatic output, and K4 performs a forced exit.
Replacing the battery
If the power supply voltage is less than 2.5 volts (see “Output of service
information”), it should be replaced. To do this, unscrew the cover retaining
ring counterclockwise, remove the cover, remove the electronic unit from the
case, push the old battery to the side, install the new one (“+” upwards,
towards the metal holder) and reassemble the watch in the reverse order. We
recommend having it replaced at a specialized workshop. Battery type –
CR2032.
