2) SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the Car DVR Camera (hereafter referred to as ‘device’, always take the
following basic precautions:
General safety information
• Carefully read the instructions for use and store them in a safe location. If you give
this device to other people, please also pass on this manual.
• Only use this device in accordance with instructions in this user manual. Failure to
follow the instructions may result in electric shock, re and/or serious injury.
• Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.
• Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low height,
can damage the device.
• Prior to use, check the device for visible external damage. Never operate the device
if it is damaged.
• The guarantee will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result of not
observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused
by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent use or use which does not
comply with the conditions of this user manual.
• Keep the device out of the reach of children and pets.
• Keep children under strict supervision to prevent them from using the device as a
toy.
• Do not allow unsupervised children to clean or maintain this device.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid, to avoid the risk of electric
shocks. Do not touch the device if it has fallen into water. Switch OFF the device,
remove the power connector from the device and do not use it again.
• Do not use the device if it has become faulty, fallen or been damaged in any way.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any manner.

• Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualied service centre. Qualied service
centre: after-sales department of the manufacturer or store, which is recognised and
authorised to carry out such repairs, so that potential hazards can be prevented. If
problems are encountered with the device, please return it to this department.
• This device is intended for domestic or similar use, not for professional use.
• WARNING! To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, protect the device
against dripping or splashing water, and keep it away from objects lled with
liquids. Such objects should not be placed on or near the device.
• WARNING! Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This
may become dangerous playing material for children. Risk of suffocation!
Batteries, electricity and heat
• The battery should be charged for approximately 4 hours before using the device
for the rst time.
• Never leave the device to charge unattended.
• Do not attempt to charge the device when the battery is damaged.
• The rechargeable battery is built into the device and cannot be replaced.
• To reduce or prevent the risk of personal injury, electrical shock, re or damage,
never insert metal objects into the charging port.
• Do not expose the device to excessive heat sources like re or direct sunlight.
• Do not use or store the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources like naked
ames.
• Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device; this might damage the battery.
• Damaging the casing and/or piercing the battery or the device, can lead to
explosion or re!
• Do not throw the device into a re because it may explode!
• Leaks from battery cells can occur under extreme conditions. If the liquid gets on
the skin, wash it immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes,
ush them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek
medical attention.
• Do not dispose of battery operated products in your household waste. Battery
operated products can be disposed of by taking them to your local recycling centre.
Contact your local government ofces for details.
• Regularly check the power cord for damage.
• Do not use the device if the power cord or car charger shows signs of damage.
• Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away from hot
objects and naked ames.
• Before cleaning the device, always disconnect the device from the power cord.
• Do not open the casing as this may result in electric shock.
• Do not use the device if it has a damaged power cord, if it has become faulty, or if
it has fallen or become damaged in any way. Send the device to the manufacturer or
the closest qualied service centre for inspection or repair.
• Ensure that the device and power cord do not come into contact with heat sources,
such as hotplates or naked ames.

• Do not use the device if it has fallen into water or any kind of uid; liquid has been
spilled on it or if it has been exposed to rain or moisture (device only)
• Do not use the device if it has been dropped or does not operate normally.
• Check local laws regarding the use of the device.
• If you use the device while driving, make sure your attention and focus
remains on your driving.
Cleaning:
• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.
• Clean the exterior of the device with a damp cloth.
• It is recommended to use a commercial lens cleaner to prevent damage to the lens
surface.

Charging the battery
The device is powered by a rechargeable battery which can be charged by means of
the included car charger.
Connect the USB charging cable of the car charger to the mini USB port of the
device and connect the car charger to the cigarette lighter output of your car.
The device will start charging and the LED power indicator will turn ‘red’.
Once charging is completed, the battery indicator in the LCD screen will show full
.
Please note:
• It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the device.
• Before using the device for the rst time, it is recommended to fully charge it.
• The device can be charged even when it is powered OFF.
• The device can be used with contact power connected to it, for longer usage.
Inserting the Micro SD memory card
Insert a Micro SD memory card (not included) into the Micro SD card slot .
Gently press the Micro SD memory card to remove it from the device; the Micro SD
card will then eject from the Micro SD card slot .
Please note:
• The device is not equipped with built-in memory, which means a Micro SD
memory card is always required to record your videos.
Power ON/OFF
To power ON the device, press the POWER button ; the LED indicator will
turn blue.
To power OFF the device, press and hold the POWER button for ± 3 seconds
until the LED indicator switches off.
The device automatically powers OFF when it reaches the idle time set by the user (1,
3 or 5 minutes).
If the battery of the device is running low, the battery icon will appear on the LCD
screen . The device will automatically power OFF.
Switching between modes
The device is equipped with three modes:
• Video – records videos
• Capture – (still) pictures
• Playback mode – plays recorded videos, pictures.
Once the device is powered ON, modes can be switched using the MODE button .
LED indicators
LED indicator turns blue when the device is ON and in video recording mode; the
LED indicator will ash when recording.
LED power indicator will turn RED when the camera is charging.

Video mode
When the device switches ON, its default setting is video mode!
If you are in capture or playback mode, press the MODE button until the video
mode icon appears in the LCD display .
Click the OK button to start recording.
Click the OK button again to stop recording.
Please note:
• The device will automatically stop recording if the battery is low.
• The device will loop record according to the set time in the menu or until the card
is full. When the card is full, the device will restart recording and previous recordings
will be overwritten.
00:00:01 Time indicator: indicates the length of the current recording.
Mode indicator: indicates selected mode is video recording mode.
Recording quality indicator: indicates the selected recording quality.
NO CARD indicator: indicates the Micro SD memory card has not been inserted.
Battery status indicator: indicates the battery level.
Capture mode
When the device switches ON, its default setting will be video mode!
To choose capture mode, press the MODE button until the capture mode icon A
appears in the LCD display .
Press the OK button to take a picture.
A Mode indicator: indicates selected mode is capture mode.
Picture resolution indicator: indicates the selected resolution for making
pictures.
NO CARD indicator: indicates the Micro SD memory card has not been
inserted.
Battery status indicator: indicates the battery level.
Playback mode
When the device switched ON, its default setting will be video mode!
To choose playback mode, press the MODE button until the playback mode icon
appears in the LCD display .
In playback mode, press the Left and Right buttons to select the desired video

playing a video, press the OK button to pause/resume the selected video
System setup menu
To enter the system setup menus, press the MODE button to select the setup
mode you want to enter, either in Video, Capture or in Playback mode. Once the
mode is selected press the MENU button to enter the setup menu. In the setup
menu, press the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to select the desired menu
item. When selecting the main menu, the background of the selected item will be
highlighted. Press the OK button to enter the sub-menu. In the sub-menu, press
the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to select the desired sub-menu function. Press
the MENU button to exit the sub-menu and return to the main menu. Press MENU
button again to select the next setup chapter. Press MENU button again to
exit the setup menus.

Connecting to computer/notebook
The device is able to synchronize with computers.
Connect the USB to mini USB cable to the Mini USB Port of the device and
connect the other end of the cable to the USB port of your computer. Once the device
is connected to the computer, power ON the device; the LED indicator will turn
blue. A “Disk Drive icon” will appear on the LCD display , to indicate successful
connection. The device will now appear in the list of connected devices on your
computer.

• The device will start charging once connected to your computer (see chapter:

“Charging the battery”).
o Make sure the Micro SD memory card is inserted in the device when connecting
to your computer. If the Micro SD memory card is not inserted when connecting, the
device will not appear in the list of connected devices on your computer.
You can also remove the Micro SD Card from the Micro SD card slot of the
device and insert it into the Micro SD Card slot of your computer.
Flash light Illumination
Press the POWER button to switch on the device. Press the POWER button
once more to switch on the ash light LEDs to make pictures or videos in the dark.
Window mount
Connect the Window suction cup to the connection point of the device by sliding
the connections together until they click in place.
Now place the suction cup on the inside of your car’s front windshield near the rear
mirror.
Press the lever down to enable the suction cup to stick to the window.
Reset button
In case the device does not function as it should or freezes, you can press the reset
button to resume normal operation.

2) VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES
Voordat u de dashcam met digitale videorecorder (hierna het ‘apparaat’ genoemd)
gebruikt, moet u altijd de volgende elementaire voorzorgsmaatregelen treffen:
Algemene veiligheidsvoorschriften
• Lees deze instructies vóór gebruik goed door en bewaar ze op een veilige plaats.
Als u dit apparaat aan iemand anders geeft, geef deze handleiding daar dan bij.
• Gebruik dit apparaat uitsluitend volgens de instructies in deze
gebruikershandleiding. Het niet opvolgen van de instructies kan leiden tot een
elektrische schok, brand en/of ernstig letsel.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt blootgesteld aan enige mechanische
belasting.
• Ga voorzichtig met het apparaat om. Het apparaat kan beschadigd raken door een
schok, stoot of val, zelfs van een geringe hoogte.
• Controleer het apparaat vóór gebruik op zichtbare beschadigingen aan de
buitenkant. Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is.
• Wanneer het apparaat beschadigd raakt als gevolg van het niet naleven van
deze gebruikshandleiding, vervalt de garantie onmiddellijk. De fabrikant accepteert
geen aansprakelijkheid voor schade als gevolg van het niet in acht nemen van de
gebruikshandleiding, onzorgvuldig gebruik of gebruik dat niet overeenstemt met de

• Houd het apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren.
• Houd kinderen goed in de gaten en voorkom dat ze het apparaat gebruiken als
speelgoed.
• Laat kinderen dit apparaat niet zonder toezicht schoonmaken of onderhouden.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof. Zo voorkomt
u de kans op een elektrische schok. Raak het apparaat niet aan als het in water is

gevallen. Schakel het apparaat in dat geval uit, haal de voeding van het apparaat en
gebruik het niet meer.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het niet goed werkt, is gevallen of op enige manier is
beschadigd.
• Probeer het apparaat niet te demonteren, te repareren of anderszins aan te passen.
• Laat reparaties uitsluitend uitvoeren door een gekwaliceerd servicecentrum.
Erkend servicecentrum: serviceafdeling van de fabrikant of winkel die erkend en
bevoegd is om dergelijke reparaties uit te voeren, zodat mogelijke gevaren worden
vermeden. Als u problemen met het apparaat ondervindt, breng het dan naar dit
servicecentrum.
• Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijke doeleinden of vergelijkbaar
gebruik, niet voor professioneel gebruik.
• WAARSCHUWING! Om de kans op brand of elektrische schokken te
verminderen moet u het apparaat beschermen tegen druppelend of opspattend
water en uit de buurt houden van met water gevulde voorwerpen. Dergelijke
voorwerpen mogen niet op of in de buurt van het apparaat worden geplaatst.
• WAARSCHUWING! Laat verpakkingsmateriaal niet onbeheerd rondslingeren.
Het kan gevaar opleveren wanneer kinderen ermee spelen. Kans op
verstikking!
Batterijen, elektriciteit en warmte
• De batterij moet ongeveer 4 uur worden opgeladen voordat u het apparaat voor de
eerste keer gebruikt.
• Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het wordt opgeladen.
• Probeer het apparaat niet op te laden wanneer de batterij beschadigd is.
• De oplaadbare batterij is in het apparaat ingebouwd en kan niet worden vervangen.
• Om het risico van persoonlijk letsel, elektrische schok, brand of schade te
verminderen of voorkomen, moet u nooit metalen voorwerpen in de oplaadpoort
steken.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt blootgesteld aan extreme warmtebronnen,
zoals vuur of direct zonlicht.
• Gebruik of bewaar het apparaat niet in de buurt van ontvlambare materialen of
hittebronnen zoals open vuur.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet wordt beschadigd of gedemonteerd; hierdoor kan
de batterij beschadigd raken.
• Beschadiging van de behuizing, de batterij, of het apparaat zelf kan leiden tot een
explosie of brand!
• Gooi het apparaat nooit in een vuur omdat het kan ontploffen!
• Onder extreme omstandigheden kunnen batterijcellen gaan lekken. Als deze
vloeistof op de huid terecht komt, moet u de vloeistof onmiddellijk afspoelen met
water en zeep. Als deze vloeistof in uw ogen terecht komt, moet u uw ogen minimaal
10 minuten spoelen met schoon water en een dokter raadplegen.
• Geef producten die op batterijen werken niet mee met het huishoudelijk afval.
Producten die op batterijen werken, kunnen worden ingeleverd bij een lokaal
inzamelpunt voor recycling. Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor nadere
informatie.

• Controleer het stroomsnoer regelmatig op beschadigingen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het stroomsnoer of de auto-oplader zichtbaar
beschadigd is.
• Zorg ervoor dat niemand op het stroomsnoer kan staan of dat het snoer anderszins
kan worden bekneld.
• Laat het stroomsnoer niet over scherpe randen hangen en houd het uit de buurt
van hete voorwerpen en open vuur.
• Haal altijd de voeding van het apparaat voordat u het schoonmaakt.
• Open de behuizing niet. Als u dit wel doet, loop u kans op een elektrische schok.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het stroomsnoer beschadigd is, als het apparaat
defect is, gevallen is of op enige wijze beschadigd is geraakt. Stuur het apparaat
naar de fabrikant of het dichtstbijzijnde servicecentrum voor inspectie of reparatie.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat en het stroomsnoer niet in aanraking komen met
hittebronnen, zoals een kookplaat of gasvlammen.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het in water of een andere vloeistof is gevallen, als
er vloeistof op is gemorst of als het is blootgesteld aan regen of vocht (alleen het
apparaat)
• Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer het is gevallen of niet normaal functioneert.
• Controleer de lokale wet- en regelgeving met betrekking tot het gebruik van het
apparaat.
• Als u het apparaat tijdens het rijden gebruikt, zorg er dan voor dat uw
aandacht blijft gericht op het verkeer.
Reiniging:
• Gebruik geen schurende schoonmaakmiddelen om het apparaat te reinigen.
• Reinig de buitenkant van het apparaat met een vochtige doek.
• Wij raden u aan een commercieel reinigingsmiddel voor lenzen te gebruiken om
schade aan het oppervlak van de lens te voorkomen.

De batterij opladen
Het apparaat wordt gevoed door een oplaadbare batterij die kan worden opgeladen
via de meegeleverde auto-oplader.
Sluit de USB-oplaadkabel van de auto-oplader aan op de mini-USB-poort van het
apparaat en sluit de auto-oplader aan op de aanstekeraansluiting van uw auto.
Het apparaat begint met opladen en het LED-stroomindicatielampje wordt rood.
Wanneer het opladen is voltooid, is de batterij-indicator op het Lcd-scherm
volledig vol .
Let op:
• Het duurt ongeveer vier uur om het apparaat volledig op te geladen.
• Voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, raden wij u aan het volledig op
te laden.
• Het apparaat kan zelfs worden opgeladen wanneer het uit staat.
• Op het apparaat kan een externe voeding worden aangesloten, zodat het langer
kan worden gebruikt.
Plaatsen van de Micro SD-geheugenkaart
Plaats een Micro SD-geheugenkaart (niet inbegrepen) in de Micro SD-kaartsleuf .
Druk zachtjes op de Micro SD-geheugenkaart om deze uit het apparaat te
verwijderen; de Micro SD-kaart komt vervolgens vrij uit de Micro SD-kaartsleuf .
Let op:
• Het apparaat beschikt niet over een intern geheugen. Dit betekent dat u altijd
een Micro SD-geheugenkaart nodig heeft om video's op te nemen.
AAN-/UIT-zetten
Om het apparaat AAN te zetten, drukt u op de AAN-/UIT-knop ; het LED-
indicatielampje wordt nu blauw.
Om het apparaat UIT te zetten, drukt u ongeveer 3 seconden op de AAN-/UIT-knop
seconden totdat het LED-indicatielampje uit gaat.
Het apparaat wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld wanneer het gedurende de door de
gebruiker ingestelde tijd (1, 3 of 5 minuten) niet actief is geweest.
Als de batterij van het apparaat bijna leeg is, verschijnt het batterij-pictogram op
het Lcd-scherm . Het apparaat wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld.
Omschakelen tussen modi
Het apparaat is uitgerust met drie modi:
• Video - opnemen van video's

• Foto - vastleggen van (stilstaande) afbeeldingen
• Afspelen - tonen van opgenomen video's en foto's.
Zodra het apparaat is ingeschakeld, kunt u van modus veranderen met behulp van de
MODE-knop .
LED-indicatielampjes
Het LED-indicatielampje wordt blauw wanneer het apparaat AAN en in de video-
modus staat; het LED-indicatielampje gaat knipperen tijdens het opnemen.
Het LED-indicatielampje wordt ROOD wanneer de camera aan het opladen is.
Videomodus
Wanneer het apparaat wordt aangezet, staat het standaard in de videomodus!
Vanuit de foto- of afspeel-modus, drukt u op de MODE-knop totdat het pictogram
voor de videomodus op het Lcd-scherm verschijnt.
Klik op de OK-knop om te beginnen met opnemen.
Klik nogmaals op de OK-knop om te stoppen met opnemen.
Let op:
• Het apparaat stopt automatisch met opnemen als de batterij bijna leeg is.
• Het apparaat maakt loop-opnames op basis van de in het menu ingestelde tijd of
totdat de kaart vol is. Wanneer de kaart vol is, begint het apparaat weer opnieuw met
opnemen en worden eerdere opnamen overschreven.

voor de fotomodus op het Lcd-scherm verschijnt.
Druk op de OK-knop om een foto te nemen.
AModus-indicator: geeft aan dat de geselecteerde modus de fotomodus is.
Indicator foto-resolutie: geeft de geselecteerde resolutie aan voor foto's.

Afspeelmodus
Wanneer het apparaat wordt aangezet, staat het standaard in de videomodus!
Om de afspeelmodus te selecteren, drukt u op de MODE-knop totdat het
pictogram voor de afspeelmodus op het Lcd-scherm verschijnt.
In de afspeelmodus, drukt u op de Links-knop en Rechts-knop om het
gewenste video- of foto-bestand te selecteren. Druk op de OK-knop om het
geselecteerde videobestand af te spelen / te pauzeren. Wanneer u een video
afspeelt, kunt u op de OK-knop drukken om het afspelen te pauzeren/hervatten.
Menu systeeminstellingen
Om de menu's voor systeeminstellingen te openen, drukt u op de MODE-knop
om de instellingsmodus te selecteren die u wilt openen vanuit de Video-, Foto- of
Afspeel-modus. Zodra de gewenste modus is geselecteerd, drukt u op de MENU-
knop om het instellingsmenu te openen. In het instellingsmenu drukt u op de
knop LINKS of RECHTS om het gewenste menuonderdeel te selecteren.
Wanneer u het hoofdmenu selecteert, wordt de achtergrond van het geselecteerde
item gemarkeerd. Druk op de OK-knop om het submenu te openen. In het
submenu drukt u op de knop LINKS of RECHTS om de gewenste functie in
het submenu te selecteren. Druk op de MENU-knop om het submenu te sluiten
en terug te gaan naar het hoofdmenu. Druk nogmaals op de MENU-knop om
het volgende instellingsonderdeel te selecteren. Druk nogmaals op de MENU-knop
om het instellingsmenu te sluiten.

Aansluiten op een computer/notebook
Het apparaat kan worden gesynchroniseerd met een computer.
Sluit de USB naar mini-USB-kabel aan op de Mini USB-poort van het apparaat
en sluit het andere uiteinde van de kabel aan op de USB-poort van uw computer.
Zodra het apparaat is aangesloten op de computer, zet u het apparaat AAN; de
LED-indicator wordt nu blauw. Op het Lcd-scherm verschijnt een pictogram
‘harde schijf’ om de succesvolle verbinding aan te geven. Het apparaat wordt nu
weergegeven in de lijst van aangesloten apparaten op uw computer.
Let op:
• Het apparaat begint met opladen zodra het is aangesloten op uw computer (zie
hoofdstuk: ‘De batterij opladen’).
• Zorg ervoor dat de Micro SD-geheugenkaart in het apparaat is geplaatst wanneer
u het aansluit op uw computer. Als de Micro SD-kaart niet is geplaatst wanneer u
het apparaat aansluit, zal het apparaat niet worden weergegeven in de lijst van
aangesloten apparaten op uw computer.
U kunt de Micro SD-kaart ook uit de Micro SD-kaartsleuf van het apparaat
verwijderen en plaatsen in de Micro SD-kaartsleuf van uw computer.
Flitslicht
Druk op de AAN-/UIT-knop om het apparaat in te schakelen. Druk nogmaals op
de AAN-/UIT-knop om de itslampjes in te schakelen om foto's of video's in
het donker te maken.
Montage op de voorruit
Sluit de zuignap voor op
de voorruit aan op het
aansluitpunt van het
apparaat door de aansluitingen
in elkaar te schuiven tot ze
vastklikken.
Plaats de zuignap nu aan de
binnenkant van de voorruit
van uw auto, in de buurt van
de achteruitkijkspiegel.

Dit product is vervaardigd van kwalitatief hoogwaardige materialen en onderdelen
die gerecycled en opnieuw gebruikt kunnen worden. Aan het eind van de
levensduur van dit product, mag het niet worden meegegeven met het normale
huishoudelijk afval, maar moet het naar een speciaal inzamelpunt worden gebracht
voor het recyclen van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Dit wordt in de
handleiding en op de verpakking weergegeven door de afvalcontainer met een kruis
erdoor. De gebruikte grondstoffen kunnen worden gerecycled.
Door het recyclen van gebruikte apparatuur of grondstoffen, speelt u een belangrijke rol bij
de bescherming van het milieu. U kunt bij de gemeente informeren waar het dichtstbijzijnde
inzamelpunt is.
Gooi batterijen niet weg met het huisvuil. Breng ze naar het lokale inzamelpunt voor chemisch
