ELECTRONIC KITCHEN SCALE
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Dear consumer, Please read these instructions carefully before use in order
to avoid damage due to incorrect use and to better understand the functions
of this product. Please pay particular attention to the safety guide. If you
pass the device on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also
be handed over. Please keep them for future references.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The symbol "OPEN BOOK" means a recommendation
to read important things contained in the record.
The symbol "BIN" crossed out, abbreviation WEEE
(Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment)
means that at the end of life, it should not be
discarded with household waste, but filed to the
sorting of the locality. Waste recovery can help
preserve our environment.
The symbol "CE" is the guarantee of compliance with
harmonized European standards, voluntary, reflecting
the essential requirements into technical
specifications. These standards are not mandatory
but are guarantees of compliance with essential
requirements.
The symbol ROHS (Restriction of use of some
Hazardous Substances) on the Environmental
Protection, certifies that for each of the five hazardous
substances • Lead • Mercury • (hexavalent) chromium
• products for protection against flames PBB and
PBDE, the peak concentration is equal to or less than
0.1% of the weight of homogeneous material, and
0.01% for the 6th • cadmium.
The symbol "TRIMAN" indicates that the consumer is
invited to dispose the product as part of a separate
collection (eg recycling bin, waste, voluntary intake
point).

This button has several functions
1. By pressing the button
M = On + T = Tare. Switch on and Tare function.
Note : This button is also used to turn off the device.
2. By turning the button
The first 5 positions are used to weigh and add (at most) 5 ingredients in the
same weighing.
Position 1 Weigh the First Ingredient
Turn to position 2 and weigh the second ingredient ... and so on, up to position
5.

Note : each position from 1 to 5 can also weigh an ingredient separately.
The "Total" position is used to display the total of the weights added in the 5
previous positions.
This same position is also "Unit", used to change the unit : Gram (g) / Pound
(Ib) / Liquid ounce (fl) / Milk (Milk mode) / Water (Water mode).
To do this : without weighing, position the button on “Unit”, when the screen
displays 0 press the button to change the unit.
SYMBOLS ON THE SCREEN
1. "T" = Tare
2. "0" (no weight on the scale or tare performed)
3. "-" Negative value
4. "" = Weighing in progress
5. "Ib" = Pound Unit
6. "fl" = Liquid ounce
7. "ml" = Millilitre
8. "g" = Gram
BEFORE FIRST USE
Open the battery compartment (under the device).
Install 2 x 1.5V LR3 or AAA batteries (not supplied) in the compartment.
Make sure of the direction of polarity.
Replace the cover.
To replace the batteries, remove the cover and remove the old batteries.
Insert 2 new 1.5v LR3 or AAA batteries.
Note : The symbol "LO" = battery Low, appears on the screen, when the
batteries must be replaced.

USE
Press the “M”button to turn on the scale.
To stop the scale press and hold button “M”for three seconds.
Note : To save battery life, the scale switches off automatically if it is not used
for two minutes.
The default unit is grams. To change the unit, position the button on "UNIT" and
press the button.
Note : Each time you press, the unit changes to every unit & back to the gram.
To tare a container on the scale, place the container and press "TARE". => The
device will reset to zero taking into account the weight of the container.
Notes : By pressing "Tare", the weight of the container will have no impact on
the total weight of the measure, but it will be taken into account in the
capacity of the scale.
Each time you press TARE, the weight will return to 0. It will be possible
to weigh several ingredients, in a row, in the same bowl and for the
same weighing.
It is also possible, with this scale, to weigh and add the weight of 5
ingredients. (See the paragraph: Knowing your device).
The scale can accurately measure when the weight is less than 8000g. If the
weight exceeds the capacity of the scale, the LCD will display “Err” = overload.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the exterior of the appliance with a slightly damp sponge or cloth or with
a little alcohol or glass cleaner.
• Parts in contact with food such as : Bowl (removable), Fork, Spatula etc.
should be cleaned in hot water with a sponge and dish soap or washed in the
dishwasher.
• This scale is not waterproof. Do not expose it to moisture. Never immerse it in
water or any other liquid!
• Do not use soap or other chemicals.
• Never use abrasive products, a wire brush or other sharp object.
• Keep the scale away from water, corrosive liquids, heat and extreme cold.
• The scale must not be manhandled as this may will damage or disturb the high
precision weight sensor.
• The scale is for private use and is not suitable for commercial use.
• If the scale does not work well, change the batteries.
• Make sure that the scale is at room temperature, and on a stable horizontal
surface without vibrations.
• Store the scale in a clean, dry place. Dust, dirt and moisture can build up on
electronic sensors and can deteriorate the weighing.

• Place carefully the items to be weighed. Do not drop items on the scale.
GUARANTEE
Before being delivered, all our products are subjected to a rigorous control.
This apparatus is guaranteed 24 months starting from the date of purchase of
consumer.
The documents in proof of guarantee are :
• The invoice and
• The filled and stamped warrantee plate (located on side or bottom of the gift
box). Without these documents in proof, no free replacement, nor no free repair,
can be carried out.
During the warranty period, we deal for free, the defects of the apparatus or the
accessories, rising from a defect of materials or manufacture by repair or,
replacement. The services within the framework of the guarantee do not involve
any extension of the warranty period and does not give right to a new guarantee
!
In the event of recourse to the guarantee, bring back the complete apparatus to
your retailer, in its original packing, accompanied by the proofs of purchase.
The breakage of parts out of glass or plastic is, in all the cases, not warranted.
Defects on the accessories or the wearing parts (for example: coals of engines,
hooks, drive belts, remote control of replacement, teeth brushes of replacement,
webs etc) as well as cleaning, maintenance or it replacement of wearing parts
are not guaranteed and are thus to pay !
In the event of foreign intervention, the guarantee becomes null and void.
After flow of the warranty period, repairs can be carried out, against payment,
by a specialized trade or a repair service.

(Destruction of batteries)
To remove the battery:
• Open the battery compartment and retrieve the battery.
- THE BATTERY MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE THE UNIT IS GIVEN TO
REBUS.
- BATTERY CONTAINS NICKEL CADMIUM AND / OR LITHIUM AND / OR
NICKEL-METAL HYDRIDE, THE BATTERY MUST BE ELIMINATED IN A
SAFE WAY.
DO NOT THROW IN A TRASH CAN, BUT GIVE IN CENTRE OF WASTE.
