3 PNEUMATIC DIAGRAM
PR VASET 2P - Pneum tic di gr m
PICTURE 3
The pneum tic di gr m of the device is simple, but effective nd s fe.
It is m de up of:
•A pressure reducer (see point 6, p r. 2.2)
•Two 3/2-w y N.C. solenoid v lves: Both v lves gu r ntee tight se l nd c n be e sily
inspected for m inten nce nd cle ning purposes.
•A pressure tr nsducer: It me sures the testing pressure.
Both v lves 1 nd 2 re opened ( ctiv ted) only during the filling nd re closed
(de ctiv ted) during the settling nd the pressure dec y me surement.
In this w y, the piece being tested is connected to the pressure reducer (inlet ir) only during
the filling, while - during the settling nd the me surement - the piece being tested is
completely isol ted from the inlet ir, bec use the closed v lve 2 is ctu lly connected to
the disch rge outlet.
A possible blow-by or f ilure of v lve 2 during the test c n therefore only c use pressure
loss in the piece being tested nd not pressure incre se: The possibility th t n error of the
pneum tic circuit c n hide pressure le k of piece to be rejected is therefore excluded.
