DESCRIPTION
A reliable Pan & Tilt nit is a key feat re in video s rveillance systems which need to video a wide or
a dynamic location. This is why the VSPT Series Pan & Tilt nit is the best choice, especially for
Offshore, Marine, Heavy and Food Ind stry and for every sit ation where corrosive agents may
rapidly damage standard al min m-steel nits.

The VSPT250 package contains:
1x Pan & Tilt nit 4x M8 washers (UNI 1751 B)
1x Installation Man al 2x Cable glands
1x Side bracket 1x Hex key for M4 screw
4x M8x25 screws 1x Hex key for M6 screw
3x M6x16 screws 1x Hex key for M8 screw
INSTALLING THE UNIT
Before performing any operation, turn off the power. Only qualified
personnel can perform electrical operations according the regulations
in force.
Prior to installation and operation, read carefully this manual of
instructions.
Suggested tools
The following tools are s ggested to install the VSPT250 Pan & Tilt nit:
- Flat screwdriver
echanical assembly
We recommend to follow the instructions to ensure a correct
installation and a correct functioning of the unit.

The nit can be mo nted on its appropriate
SSBK250 bracket sing fo r M8x1,25 holes
arranged on Ø101,6 mm and placed on the
bottom plate of the nit. Otherwise, arrange
conseq ently the plane where the nit is
meant to be mo nted and make s re that it is
solid and it can adeq ately s pport the
weight of the nit and of the camera ho sing
(incl ding the camera and lens).
BOTTO PLATE
SSBK250 BRACKET
Fix the enclosed side bracket to the nit sing three
M6x16 screws. The side bracket has two Ø6,5 holes
that can be sed to fix a 129 Series ho sing.
A side bracket for 168 and 204 housings is available.

Electrical Connections
Perform electrical connections according to the following connector scheme:
Incorrect Power Supply Voltage may damage the unit.
Electrical installation practices
–Always se color-coded or n mbered cond ctors for wiring and identification ease at a later date.
–Tighten the cable glands p to a 8 Nm torq e ratio.
–Keep this man al in a safe place for later se and reference.

Default Position
The nit is in its defa lt position when viewed from
front:
•the camera ho sing is placed on the left, with the
front window toward the ser;
•the cable glands are placed on the right.
Setting Pan and Tilt limits
The Pan and Tilt nit feat res a man al adj stable
setting of both pan and tilt movement, being provided
with two adj stable end stop switches for each motion.
This setting is necessary to set the desired work angle.
The setting is performed witho t opening the nit.
Do not try to position manually the unit by forcing
pan and/or tilt movements because it may seriously
damage the gears inside the unit.
Default limits
The nit is set with defa lt val es to achieve the following angles:
•90° Pan left angle
•90° Pan right angle
•15° Tilt p angle
•90° Tilt down angle
Changing the default limits
1. Loose the PAN stoppers (M4 screws) b t
do not remove them so it is possible to
adj st the position of the stoppers
according to the work needs.
2. Power and drive the nit to the req ired
maxim m pan position.
3. Move the relative loose stopper ntil it is
able to stop the switch act ator by
activating the microswitch inside the
nit.
4. Tighten the stopper to fix the limit.
5. Repeat the same operations to set the
opposite PAN limit.
6. Repeat all the above operations to set TILT UP and TILT DOWN limits.
–DO NOT RE OVE the 5 hexagon socket set screw shown in the picture
–Remove one stopper to achieve a maximum 352° pan and tilt rotation
–DO NOT RE OVE both stoppers at the same time
