Do not cover the air inlets or the outlet grid.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
Never allow any liquid to enter the appliance.
Never use the appliance in a humid place.
Never use the appliance close to a heat source.
Never place anything on the appliance or insert anything into it.
Do not use the appliance close to flammable objects or products (curtains, aerosols, solvents, etc.).
Never use the appliance in an inclined or horizontal position. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface.
In the case of prolonged absence: switch the appliance off using the button (7) and unplug it.

Unplug the air purifier during assembly and cleaning.
The new Intense Pure Air purifier from Tefal enables you to breathe up to 99.97% pure air in your home and
protect your health with 4 filtration levels as described below. Each level is essential and traps characteristic

Place the purifier on a flat, stable surface in the room requiring treatment.
To allow the air to circulate freely, avoid placing the appliance behind curtains, below a window, item of furniture or
shelf unit, or close to any other obstacle, and leave at least 50 cm of free space on each side of the appliance.
Make sure that the plastic packaging protecting the filters has been removed before using the appliance.
Also make sure that:
• The voltage of your electrical installation corresponds to the one indicated on the appliance.
Your appliance can be used with a power plug without an earth connection. It is a class II appliance (double electrical
insulation),
• The appliance is positioned in the house as described above,
• The air inlet and outlet grids are completely unobstructed,
• Ensure the 4 filters and front panel have been correctly installed (See section "Disassembling/Reassembling filters".).
This appliance is fitted with a device that automatically prevents it from operating if the front door is not correctly
assembled.
Inserting and replacing the filters
This appliance is equipped with 4 types of filters:
NB: For optimum performance of the appliance, only use filters provided by TEFAL.
To replace the filters, follow the instructions in the section “Disassembling/Reassembling filters” .
Please note: certain filters may emit a temporary slight odour, due to the transport and storage conditions.

In addition to using your Intense Pure Air purifier, here are some tips on how to improve the quality
of your indoor air:
.Ventilate the rooms for at least 10 min. every day, in summer and winter
.Maintain your ventilation system
.Limit the use of household products
.Do not smoke indoors
.Avoid home fragrances, incense sticks, scented candles, etc.
.Ventilate whenever any work is being conducted in your home and for several weeks afterwards
.Avoid green plants that are allergenic or need frequent watering

Connect the power cord and press the start button (7).
When you switch your appliance on, it will be automatically set to speed 2, the optimum operating speed.
Start
Briefly press this button to switch the air purifier on or off.
Mode/filtration speed selection
This appliance has 4 filtration speeds.You can change these speeds as you wish or according to the time of day.
- Speed 1 is specially adapted for nighttime operation – for whisper-quiet air purification.
- Speed 2 is the optimum operating speed, combining performance and quietness.
- Speeds 3 and 4 purify the air faster, for times when pollution levels are high.
Light
You can change the light intensity of the appliance as you wish or according to the time of day.
Ionizer function
The ionizer function releases negative ions into the air. This function is switched off by default. To activate it,
briefly press button 10.
Timer / delayed start
If the appliance is on: you can use this button to define the operating duration. Briefly press the button to
select the number of operating hours desired (1, 2, 4 or 8) and the appliance will automatically turn off at the
end of the selected period.
If the appliance is off: briefly press the button to set the appliance to turn on in a certain number of hours (1,
2, 4 or 8).
3D pure air function (adjustable grid)
You can adjust the position of the air outlet grid manually, as desired. For an optimum, even flow of purified air
in the room, set the angle to 45°; for maximum comfort, set the angle to 90°.
Always switch the appliance off with the button (7) and unplug it before conducting any maintenance
operation.
You can clean the appliance with a slightly damp cloth.
IMPORTANT: Never use abrasive products which could damage your appliance’s appearance.

Filters
This data is based on an average use of 8 hours per day at speed 2.
The recommended frequency for cleaning and replacing the filters may vary depending on the duration of use and
the operating environment.
• A“HEPA” light indicates when the HEPA filter needs to be replaced.
The 'Odor' light display indicates when the carbon filter needs replacing.
• The NanoCaptur filter contains translucent granules which change color according to the formaldehyde absorption
rate. Refer to the color chart on the inside of the panel or the filter itself to establish the filter saturation rate.Once
the saturation rate has reached its maximum, the filter must be replaced.You have to check the filter saturation rate
every six months.
• The pre-filter can be re-used: remove the dust using a vacuum cleaner or wash with water.
CAUTION:
The appliance's efficiency can be reduced if the pre-filter is not cleaned regularly.
Never use a pre-filter that is still damp.
The pre-filter is the only filter which can be re-used and washed with water. The HEPA, NanoCaptur and active
carbon filters cannot be cleaned and re-used. Never wash with water.
To replace the filters, follow the instructions in the section “Disassembling/Reassembling filters” .
Your replacement filters are available under the following codes:
IMPORTANT: Resetting the filters
The reset light flashes when a filter needs to be replaced. Once the filter has been replaced, hold down the reset
button for 2 seconds. .
Forced reset:
If you have replaced a filter before its end of life, force the reset of the filter replacement cycle:
1. Hold the reset button for 2 seconds. .
2. Press the reset button briefly to select the filter you have changed.
3. After selecting the filter to reset, hold the reset button for 2 seconds. The electronic meter is then reset.
4. If no button is activated for 10 seconds in forced reset mode, the reset mode is canceled.

« TIPS FOR CHANGING FILTERS »
.Avoid handling used filters if you suffer from allergies or asthma.
.Wear gloves when changing the filters, or wash your hands well afterwards.
.Put used filters directly into a closed, air-tight bag before throwing them away to avoid
spreading pollutants.

When you are not using the appliance, store it in a cool, dry place.
• Never dismantle your appliance yourself. A poorly repaired appliance can cause risks for the user.
• Check the troubleshooting table below before contacting an approved Service Center:
Contact an approved Service Center if:
• your appliance has been dropped
• your appliance or its power cord is damaged
• your appliance is not working properly
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled.
Leave it at a local waste collection point or take to an approved service center so that it can be
processed.

· 負離子功能
此功能用以將負離子散佈至空氣中，預設為關閉。輕按按鈕１０，可啓動此功能。
· 計時器／延遲開啟
空氣清新機已啓動時，可以按此按鈕制定運行時段。輕按此按鈕，以選取所需的運行時數（１、２、４
、或８小時）。空氣清新機將於時數屆滿時自動關閉。
空氣清新機已關閉時，可輕按此按鈕，以使清新機於所需的時數（１、２、４、或８小時）後延遲運行

· 立體淨化空氣功能（可調較排氣柵）
排氣柵方向可隨意手動改變。４５度斜置，能令房間有最均勻的潔淨空氣。而９０度正置，則令用家倍
感舒適。
在任何進行保養之前，必須先以按鈕（７）關閉本產品，並拔除電線。
可用微濕的擦布擦拭本產品。

以上數據乃基於每天平均八小時以速度２運行。
清潔及更換濾網的建議頻率，視乎使用時間長短及操作環境而定。
·「HEPA」燈號顯示出HEPA濾網應何時更換。

본 제품은 공장출고 당시 평상시에 최적화된 모드인 속도 2로 설정되어 있습니다.
시작
공기청정기의 버튼을 짧게 눌러 전원을 켜거나 끕니다.
공기정화 속도 선택
본 제품은 총 4단계의 정화 속도를 선택할 수 있습니다. 원하는 속도에 맞추거나 하루 중 시간대에 맞게 속도를 변경할 수
있습니다.
- 속도 1은 밤 시간대에 적합하며 최저소음으로 공기를 정화하여 줍니다.
- 속도 2는 평상시에 최적화된 모드이며 조용한 상태에서 공기를 정화하여 줍니다.
- 속도 3과 4는 실내 공기오염 정도가 심할 때 빠른 속도로 공기를 정화하여 줍니다.
조명
조명의 강도를 원하는 만큼 또는 사용 시간대에 맞게 조절하실 수 있습니다.
음이온 기능
공기 중으로 음이온을 방출하는 기능입니다. 공장 출고상태 시 이 기능은 꺼져 있습니다. 버튼 10를 짧게 누르면 음이온
기능을 시작할 수 있습니다.
타이머 / 예약
공기 청정기가 켜진 상태에서 작동 시간을 설정할 수 있습니다. 1시간, 2시간, 4시간 또는 8시간 등 버튼을 짧게 눌러 원
하는 숫자를 선택합니다. 해당 작동 시간이 끝나면 공기청정기가 자동으로 멈춥니다.
공기 청정기가 꺼진 상태에서 예약시간을 설정할 수 있습니다. 1시간, 2시간, 4시간 또는 8시간 등 버튼을 짧게 눌러 선
택한 시간이 지난 후에 공기청정기가 작동하도록 예약할 수 있습니다.
3D 공기 청정 기능(방향 조절)
공기 배출구를 원하는 방향에 맞추어 수동으로 조절할 수 있습니다. 45° 기울기에서는 가장 최적으로 실내 공기를 정화
할 수 있습니다.
90° 기울기에서는 가장 편리하게 방안의 공기를 정화할 수 있습니다.
유지 관리 작업 이전, 버튼 7를 눌러 제품의 작동을 멈춘 후 전원코드를 분리해야 합니다.
가볍게 젖은 천을 이용하여 제품을 가볍게 닦아 주십시오.

해당 성능 측정은 속도 2로 하루 평균 8시간 사용한 경우를 기준으로 합니다.
권장되는 필터 세척 및 교체 횟수는 사용 기간과 사용 환경에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.
• ""HEPA"" 표시등은 HEPA 필터 교체 시기를 나타냅니다.
""ODOR"" 표시등은 액티브카본 필터 교체 시기를 나타냅니다.
• 나노캡쳐 필터에는 반투명 과립자가 들어 있어 필터의 포름알데히드 포화 상태에 따라 색상이 변합니다. 필터의 포화 상태
를 확인하려면 전면덮개 안쪽 또는 필터에 인쇄된 색상표를 참조하십시오. 포화 상태가 최대인 경우 필터를 교체해야 합니다
. 필터 포화 정도는 6개월 주기로 확인하는 것을 권장합니다.
