Installing the RothDock with MediaHub HD
The RothDock can be easily installed and integrated with the
MediaHub HD. Just follow these simple installation instructions.

If the MediaHub HD is powered on, turn it off by unplugging
the MediaHub HD power supply from the wall outlet.

Connect the Roth Receiver (audio/power JST-12) cable into
the MediaHub HD’s rear iPod port. (Fgure 1) (note: the JST-12
connector end is keyed to match the MediaHub iPod port)

Power on the MediaHub HD - the Roth receiver runs off
the MediaHub HD power.

Install the MediaHub HD into the wall or furniture.

Use the enclosed velcro tabs to secure the Roth receiver to
the TV or nearby table.

Plug the RothDock base into wall outlet and secure to a
night stand, side table or desk, with or without using the
enclosed adhesive security pad.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the guest change the TV input to listen
to audio from the RothDock?
A: When used with a MediaHub HD that is configured in auto-switchIng
mode, the RothDock becomes a new input on the MediaHub HD.
Therefore, when you select a music track, the MediaHub HD will
automatically sense it and switch the TV, making the RothDock
the primary source. Another option is to use an on-screen menu to
select the MediaHub HD. In this case, the initial switching of the TV
to the MediaHub/RothDock is done on-screen using the TV system
remote control, but when you play music on the RothDock the
MediaHub HD will still sense it and make it the primary source.
Q: How does the guest charge their iPod or iPhone?
A: Once docked, the iPod or iPhone begin charging immediately,
and will continue until they are fully charged.
Q: Can I connect RothDock Directly to the TV Set?
A: The version you have purchased is designed specifically for use with
MediaHub HD. This version is not designed to work as a stand-alone
with the TV. However, TeleAdapt does sell a stand-alone version,
the RothDock TA-9600-RA-B. Please talk to your customer service
representative to ensure you have the right version for your application.
