VSR Trouble Shooting Guide
Document No. Preliminary
Rev: 4/27/2012
The following Guide will help in the detailed trouble shooting process of the Teletrac System. To use this trouble shooting guide you
must have knowledge of the Prism unit, wiring, functionality, and be familiar with the Diagnostic MDT. This guide also assumes the
vehicle is parked in a known good coverage area. Because there are very few visual points to the functionality of the Prism unit, most
of the trouble shooting will be done by the results given on the different Diagnostic MDT test screens. Trouble shooting can be broken
down into different sections, power, Comm/Cellular, GPS and peripherals. If the problem is unknown it is best to start with the
MODE Menu on the Diagnostic MDT.
