INTRODUCTION
This product provides remote control of devices
that can be controlled via IR.
By using it, it’s possible to control a device
placed outside the normal IR range of a remote
control (unit).
The signal transmitted between transmitter-
receiver is coded so connectivity problems
caused by interferences of other devices can
be avoided.
IR extension Ref. 723702 allows the operation
in the same area of up to 8 units.
It’s highly recommendable to resolve those
situations where signal interference occurs
between other devices used by neighbors (for
example, receivers from operators: Meo, NOS,
Canal +, Multichoice, Sky Italia, Ditigal +,
Premiere, etc...).

 Plug in the unit’s adapter. The LED
display will turn on; otherwise check the
switch is placed correctly.
 Switches of both emitter/receiver
shall be in the same position to allow
communication between each other (see
Table 1).
 It’s advisable turning off and on again
the PSU using the ON/OFF switch after
any code modification.
 Once you have set up the Transmission
and Receiving units forthe equipment
you want to control, the product enables
you to use your infrared remote control
to work you for you TV, VCR, satellite
receiver, CD, LD, DVD or blu-ray, etc. from
one room to another.
 To operate, simply aim the infrared
remote control at the LED indicator side
of the transmitter unit, and then invoke
the function. The LED indicator of the
transmitter unit will flash during signal
transmission. The receiver unit will
receive and send out the transmitted
signal to your equipment.
OPERATING THE UNITS
PRECAUTIONS
 Do not use oil, solvents, petrol, paint
thinners or insecticides on the product.
 Keep this product away from any strong
light.
 This product contain no user serviceable
SETTING-UP THE UNITS
 Use in the room where you want to
control your equipment.
 Equipment in room 1 must be wired to
the equipment in room 2 that you want
to control.
Receiver
 Use in the room where equipment
should be controlled.
 Locate the LED indicator side of the unit
on the front of the equipment that you
want to control.
Transmitter
parts inside. Never disassemble as this
may result in electric shock.
 Do not use this product near water, for
example: bath tud, kitchen sink, laundry
tub, wet basement, or swimming pool.
 Use this product on a flat surface free
from vibration.
 This product should be powered from the
type of source indicated on the rating
level.
 Do not touch the antenna when the
Transmitter and/or Receiver unit is in
use. Otherwise, the performance is
affected.
 Remove the AC power plug from the wall
socket under the following conditions:
a) Whenever the plug is damaged.
b) The product has been exposeed to water.
c) If the product does not operate normally.
d) If the product has been broken.
 The power adapter is responsible to
disconnect the device. It shall be placed
near the device and easily accessible.

años calculados a partir de la fecha de
compra para los países de la UE. En los
países no miembros de la UE se aplica la
garantía legal que está en vigor en el
momento de la venta. Conserve la factura
de compra para determinar esta fecha.
Durante el período de garantía, Televés
S.A. se hace cargo de los fallos producidos
por defecto del material o de fabricación.
Televés S.A. cumple la garantía reparando o
sustituyendo el equipo defectuoso.
No están incluidos en la garantía los daños
provocados por uso indebido, desgaste,
manipulación por terceros, catástrofes
o cualquier causa ajena al control
de Televés S.A.
Garantía
Televés S.A. offre une garantie de deux ans
calculée à partir de la date d’achat pour les
pays de l’U.E. Pour les pays non membres
de l’U.E., la garantie appliquée sera celle en
vigueur du point de vue légal au moment de
la vente. Conservez votre facture d’achat afin
d’attester de cette date.
Pendant la période de garantie, Televés S.A.
prend en charge les avaries dues à un défaut
du produit ou de fabrication. Televés assume
cette garantie enréparant ou en échangeant
l’appareil défectueux.
Ne sont pas couverts par la garantie les
dommages provoqués par une utilisation
incorrecte, usure normale d’utilisation,
manipulation par des tiers, catastrophes
ou toute cause hors du contrôle deTelevés S.A.

countries in the EU. For countries that are
not part of the EU, the legal guarantee
that is in force at the time of purchase
is applied. Keep the purchase invoice to
determine this date.
During the guarantee period, Televés S.A.
complies with the guarantee byrepairing or
substituting the faulty equipment.
The harm produced by improper usage, wear
and tear, manipulation by a third party,
catastrophes or any other cause beyond the
control of Televés S.A. is not included in the
guarantee.
