SETTING THE HANDSET VOLUME
The LOUD/NORM switch located at the back of the phone allows you to adjust your
HANDSET RECEIVER volume for a comfortable listening level.
MAKING AND ANSWERING CALLS
To obtain dial tone or answer an incoming call, simply lift the handset. To hang up, either
replace the handset or depress the cradle hook switch.
RINGER ON/OFF SWITCH
When you don't wish to be disturbed by incoming calls, slide the ringer switch at the back of
the phone to the 'OFF' position. You can still use the phone to make outgoing calls, but any
incoming calls will not cause the phone to ring. To restore normal operation, set the ringer
switch back to the 'ON' position. Ensure that you make a note of when the ringer is disabled.
REDIAL
The telephone stores the last number you have dialed in memory.
To redial the same number, lift the handset to obtain dial tone and press the REDIAL button
once.
RECALL
The Recall key is used with voice services (e.g. TalkPlus) and PABX systems to transfer or
place calls on hold. Refer to your PABX system manual for further information.
RINGER VOLUME
If the ringer volume is too loud for your comfort, padding may be slid under the base to
soften the volume.
